  1. Rye House could sign Rosen, releasing Tressarieu......
  2. I was just pointing out who could be dropped not who should be. If and its a big if, we see more of the Tungate we got last night then yes he needs to stay. Same goes for Worrall of his last 3 rides. Heard he may have broken either toes or foot on right leg from heat 1 off. But this 1-7 are so frustrating! Some more so than others.
  3. Yes, adding Mellgren would leave you 3.80. But wheres Tres going to be to missing meetings?
  4. As has been said it the same with Ellis and Paul Starke at Somerset There are 5 other teams in the league that they would be number 6 and allowed a "proper" guest" Cannot see the reason for it? (at both Newcastle and Sheffield they would be the in 1-5)
  5. If a change is made it will be from when another team releases a rider to made themselves stronger, Berwick, Rye House, Scunthorpe and Plymouth all have over a point to strengthen. Glasgow and Redcar over 2. That would need a 5.5 to 6 pointer to be made available, but with the likes of Rosen 6.69 and Mellgren 7.47 on the shelf it could happen.....
  6. 1 Richie Worrall (8.42) 7.4 2 Gino Manzares (5.00) 5.61 3 Morten Risager (6.90) 7.08 4 Ritchie Hawkins (3.96) 4.88 5 Rohan Tungate (7.05) 6.55 6 Cameron Heeps (6.74) 4.78 7 Adam Ellis (4.14) 4.48 Total 40.78 Starting ave in brackets. So if there were to be a change to accomodate the 1.78 what or who do the Witches replace? And is that something the Witches do? Personally I think Adam Ellis but he looks jaded and possibly his crashes and constant travelling are catching up with him? Would allow for 6.20 to still be under the points limit. Looking at the others, 3 riders have dropped their starting ave so could have cases against them to be replaced Cam Heeps allow for 6.50 Rohan Tungate 8.27 Richie Worrall 9.12 Thing is are there any riders available that would fit the bill? Aarnio or Tabaka are both under 6
  7. Maybe too close of them? Or maybe has another opportunity on the horizon that needs his attention?
  8. Hmmmm Louis has tonight stepped down as TM. Brian Messenger takes over as caretaker manager.
  9. Dunno if Sheffield are going to replace Poole but there's talk about them making a change. All I'm saying is that would it be wise to replace Ellis as he would possibly be missing meetings and can only use a NL Guest for him.
  10. Playing Devils advocate here. ..... But If Sheffield were to replace Poole, thoughts on him replacing Ellis so as not to keep having to use a guest when riding for Lakeside?
  11. Taken from lovespeedway24.co.uk Team manager Chris Louis has warned his under-performing Witches to buck their ideas up following their Northern nightmare at the weekend. After defeats at Scunthorpe, Workington and Glasgow, Louis pulled no punches over his teams performance and admitted they were in a precarious position as they chase an end-of-season play-off spot. In a revealing interview, Louis bemoaned his teams inability to adapt to difficult conditions at Scunthorpe before citing a lack of preparation ahead of the Glasgow defeat. It is hugely frustrating for me, more than I could have ever imagined, insisted Louis who wont be looking to make team changes. I wouldnt say I am happy with what I have got and its fair to say that several of the boys need to buck up their ideas. Our play-off position is precarious, given the positions of other teams and their fixtures in hand, and although we are not at that stage where we will be putting loads of pressure on ourselves, we do have to perform. The Witches, who host Rye House on Thursday, began the weekend with a heavy 55-38 defeat at Scunthorpe, before throwing away an eight-point lead with four heats left to lose 47-43 at Workington. On Sunday, Glasgow inflicted more misery on the Witches, 53-40 and left Louis to deliver a stark assessment of his teams failings, starting with the defeat to Workington. With four heats to go they (Workington) took a long break for a track grading and that knocked us out of our rhythm, they did the perfect job on us, added Louis. At Scunthorpe, they prepared a very hard, slick track and the first half of the meeting which we lost by 19, with two tactical rides, was a reflection of how poor we were. The lads probably did not adjust to the track conditions for the opening eight races but they are good enough and should be very focused and able to adapt to tough conditions. Sundays defeat was a case of one too many meetings and lots of miles took their toll. I dont think the team, individually, were prepared well enough for varying reasons, although I dont want to take anything away from Glasgow. Meanwhile, Louis is confident Adam Ellis will be fit for Thursday, after the youngster suffered a heavy fall in the defeat at Glasgow and was withdrawn from the meeting.
  12. That's a bit Ageist and sexist my friend! But must be a newcomer as I don't think I've seen any females under 50 at Foxhall before! Lol (wink)
  13. Went to my first British Final in the year Chris Louis made his debut (late 80's)? Left Ipswich early morning and got to the stadium just after lunch. Crowd and atmosphere were amazing and had never seen anything like it before. Didn't get back until 9pm. Was a whole day out. Continued to go every year since then and added Overseas Finals at Brandon too.
  14. Oh for the British Final of old at Coventry on a sunny sunday afternoon where anyone on their day could beat anyone with a 15k plus crowd
  15. Gonna be close just hope we manage to cling on to the overall victory! depends on what the score is after 4 heats,
  16. Using June GSA If its the top 3 that count for qualification: WORKINGTON 24.81 Josh Grajczonek 9.23 Ricky Wells 7.84 Rene Bach 7.74 EDINBURGH 24.20 Craig Cook 10.7 Max Fricke 6.59 Sam Masters 6.91 SOMERSET 23.96 Nick Morris 8.67 Pontus Aspgren 7.41 Olly Allen 7.88 PETERBOROUGH 22.88 Ryan Fisher 8.04 Ulrich Ostergaard 6.84 Lasse Bjerre 8 PLYMOUTH 22.46 Ben Barker 9.32 Rasmus Jensen 6.73 Adam Roynon 6.41 REDCAR 22.06 Richard Lawson 8.71 Carl Wilkinson 6.09 Aaron Summers 7.26 IPSWICH 21.94 Richie Worrall 8.07 Rohan Tungate 6.7 Morten Risager 7.17 BERWICK 21.70 Claus Vissing 7.77 David Bellego 6.92 Kevin Doolan 7.01 SHEFFIELD 21.57 Simon Stead 9.39 Andre Compton 4.78 Leigh Lanham 7.4 NEWCASTLE 21.23 Ludvig Lindgren 7.37 Lewis Kerr 6.36 Stuart Robson 7.5 GLASGOW 20.70 Kevin Wolbert 7.69 Theo Pijper 6.78 Rusty Harrison 6.23 SCUNTHORPE 20.61 Nikolai Klindt 7.33 Ryan Douglas 6.71 Josh Auty 6.57 RYE HOUSE 20.51 Eddie Kennett 8.9 Steve Boxall 5.75 Luke Bowen 5.86 So looks like Glasgow, Scunthorpe and Rye House miss out
  17. BSPA shooting themselves in the foot again?! How many people going to Cardiff would have made plans to include this if their team was announced as riding? But as noone knows then might as well make it a Sat/Sun trip instead?
  18. Thing is a poor night from your number 1 should be single figures. But that's 6 and 7s not 3 and 4. I thought Nicholls was going to be number 1 next year?
  19. Tempted to travel up for this tonight. But just wary on the rain forecast for later. Also on how Worrall and Tungate will go after their long trips back from Germany?

  21. Doesn't Kroner just race at weekend's due to his job in the banking industry? So Would make sense to be "ill" on a Monday?
