Could swap Hawkins for Lanham? As it's the draft today why not just have all the riders for the Pl picked that way?
-
The draft should be after the riders are fixed up though....
-
If Ellis gets his 2.5% reduction then..... D King G Manzares C Heeps R Worrall T Jorgensen A Ellis J Bates
-
Try again,..... 0.07 over! unless Ellis gets an average reduction......
-
Well his local track is now Sheffield......
-
So its now in effect 0.71248 instead of 0.60? Taking Hansen's ave into consideration 5.5 / 0.6 = 9.17 5.5 / 0.71248 = 7.70 Thats a difference of 84%! In 2014 the average EL admission was £16.65, PL admission was £15.23 (conversion rate of 0.915) does that now mean admission will also reflect this new conversion rate?

Team to beat. But that's what everyone said about Workington this year. ......

New Conversion Rate For Riders....
2ndbendbeerhut replied to Panthers89's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
So this will mean that any rider with a EL average under 6 is now open to the "new and improved" average conversion? That includes riders missing from 2014 then? some good out there with interesting aves now then........ Thomas H Jonasson finished 2013 on 5.69 new PL average of 7.97 Others: Robert Miskowiak 7.15 Dennis Gizatulin 6.27 Jonas Davidsson 8.30 Jesper B Monberg 6.44 Dennis Andersson 7.60 Dawid Lampart 6.41 -
An increase of .75 for each year then? If every Witch next year does that then we be in with a shout!
-
How is 7.70 correct? What was his el Ave? And what's the conversion rate?
-
7.70 really? where that come from?

Ok so we know that Ashley Birks has signed for Sheffield so rules out Swindon, but does it? Could they still pick him then switch picks in round 2 with whoever he actually rides for? Also i believe Lewis Blackbird is an Ipswich asset, so what happens if Swindon pick him, then in the coming weeks he signs for his parent club? Or will this happen and then riders swap after the draft?
-
Simple idea which should happen but its speedway so would never even been thought of!
-
Still a future son in law but now lives in Loughborough i believe.
-
But will Risager need to ride at Ipswich as no longer lives local?
-
Clubs will pick in reverse order from their finishing position in 2014, meaning Leicester have first pick in round one with Poole picking eighth. Swindon will pick fifth. As things stand, Poole will pick first in the second round with clubs then picking in order following their finishing positons last season. This will see Swindon picking fourth. So Poole will get possibly best round one pick in Newman, but then get 1st round pick in 2nd round as they finished 1st!

Interesting quote from Chris Louis “It is fantastic to have Danny back at Ipswich which is of course where his professional career began when my dad gave him his opportunity back in 2003. I’ve always had a great relationship with Danny and I feel he is just the right sort of racer and character to take our team forward. The two-year limit on doubling up obviously puts a limit on his Premier League availability, but who knows where the club will be in two years’ time? From my point of view, signing a local lad who is well liked by fans, officials and riders alike, as well as a proven entertainer, is the best possible start to our team building for 2015.” Hmmm......

Yup Masters 8.22 Tungate 8.36

After listening to the podcast, only confirms that the "powers at be" haven't got a clue!

Followed by Chris Schramm and Jon Armstrong. ......

Taken from Lovespeedway24.co.uk Ipswich Witches director of speedway Chris Louis has told Suffolk fans they won’t have to wait long before they find out the team’s No.1 rider for 2015. Louis returned buoyed from a positive British Speedway AGM Conference at the weekend and promised Witches fans the rider to lead the charge for Premier League honours next year will be announced soon. “I hope in the next week to tell our fans who the No.1 rider is, ” Louis said. “The reason I am not able to now is because it depends on more than just personal contract negotiations. “As I have said before I have a number of permutations in my head with the team but the AGM has left me with a more fixed idea, as the 42.5pt team-building limit remains.” Whether Louis will go for a strong top end, or a more solid-looking 1-5 in the Witches team of 2015, he would not confirm. But Louis has admitted he would work with any of last year’s team again – and that includes current No.1 Rohan Tungate. As regards the AGM, itself, Louis admitted it was the ‘most positive’ one he had attended. “We are sorting out the doubling-up rule which has totally lost its way over the last few years. And everyone who knows me knows I’ve been a big critic of the Fast Track rider system which was introduced last year. “This year it is being tweaked. Too much has gone wrong over the last 15 years in speedway and there was lots of debate about sorting the sport out over the next few years. “It was the most positive AGM I’ve been to.” The Witches have been drawn against Berwick in the first round of the Knock-Out Cup, the winners racing Rye House or Workington in the quarter-finals. The League Cup will stay the same and the play-offs will be the top six teams, but with the top two going straight into the semi-finals – there will be no mini-leagues.

"Witches to name new number 1" Thats whats on todays local flysheets, paper goes on to say that Chris Louis will name rider within week. Currently "depends on more than just personal contract negotiations" Continues to say that he has a number of permutations in his head but has a more fixed idea since the AGM. Would work with any of the 2014 linep again in 2015.

But nothing on the PR from the BSPA though? Does mean that all the teams apart from Poole can keep their final 5 from 2014. Poole 1.69 over If Auty is "in" does that also mean any Brit under his ave will be allowed to be a FTR? Plus what happens to Steve Worrall with his ave of 7.54? Still lots of questions to be answered.......
-
Wheres the only 2 riders over 7 come from? Currently there are 15 riders over 7 from this years averages But what happens when all then GP stars want to come back?

Everything is fixed.... the yelllow and black helmet colour is back! No further business needed!
