Ritchie Hawkins has said today in the "ipswich Star" that any rider that feels they cannot win the meeting at Somerset should not turn up!

Is it just me but does anyone think the season has already ended with the recent lack of matches and the poor weather?

Risager is fit to ride tonight

Meeting was probably one of the worst in recent weeks but Rebels being depleted and never doing well didn't help. As for season ticket holders not attending. Yes I know some and also know quite a few that don't buy them on not getting any real value/discount

Crowd certainly picked up towards start time. Season tickets only include league matches

It's always that bit of fence. He did hit air fence first though. But then bounced into wooden bit. Allen withdrawn from meeting with whiplash

With the large stands at Foxhall would it be possible to move the start line to the back straight? Eg like Vargarna in Sweden did. Just an idea. .....

Weathers been good today, only 6c this morning but better now. As is always said about Foxhall, it will be cold tonight so wrap up warm. Will also effect the bikes and most of the Witches will not have ridden since the cold spell. Scunthorpe weakened by Lemon and R/R, much will depend on how many rollers Klindt gets away with and what Howe and Auty turn up....Should be a Witches win though.

Did this years season tickets include any play off matches? Edit - no it didn't, reduced admission of £14. Wonder if this and kids not getting in for free will have an effect on the attendence? Plus its going to be cold!

Interesting to see that the polish play off that Tungate was to rose in has been postponed until Thursday.....

But why not? Did to Zetterstrom in 2007 but was just him. So its not right to ban 4 riders that are NOT putting their British clubs first? Allen is British so should ride here due to the agreement between Poland and UK. As for others? However in 2008 Jarek Hampel missed Ipswich's double header to ride for his Polish club and was given a 28 day ban, missing the semi final play off at Poole on the monday. Edit - Rohan Tungate has said that the BSPA have approved him missing the PLRC

He's not been named in the Gorzow lineup as of yet, Claus Vissing is another who has withdrawn. So thats Ipswich, Berwick, Somerset and Workington all effected. Edinburgh and Scunthorpe still could be with Cook and Klindt's Polish teams still in Polish playoffs!

To ride in Polish Play offs, as have Olli Allen and Rene Bach i believe

A lot also depends if Tungate gets a 28 day ban for pulling out of the PLRC. Magnus Zetterstrom did in 2007 for choosing to ride for the Zlotys in Poland rather than represent his British club... Would also effect Bach and Allen in the PO's too!

Planning and preparation in speedway!? That would mean that the club's think more of fans than the riders!.......

So Dudek gets his ban. Will Ward's follow suit?

Apparently can't ride this week as teams are unavailable! But neither are riding! So anything apart from 2 3 point wins will see the Witches out of playoffs like last year before they ridden away!

What was the Ipswich score at Scunthorpe this year? That's without a number 1 performance and nl guest at reserve so....

Gino Manzares is also guesting but don't know who for. .....

Plymouth except Newman were shocking! Outgated nearly every time, with the races over by the first lap. Strange thing is that only Manzares went unbeaten! Harsh in Worrall tonight, gated in third heat, tried to push Devils wide but ended up going to last, then in heat 13 took avoiding action to not be collected by Franc but was excluded from rerun! There will be speedway next week at Foxhall, just don't know who yet! Well done to Manzares on his max, pity that Risager spoilt his full one(unlike Hawkins did for Tungate the previou week)

Ben Barker actually got 2 15 maximum at foxhall last year! Also got 18 at Berwick

Bit like another Witches captain used to do.... Think that as Heeps and Ellis had an extra ride anyway that why Risager was given 15?

1. Great team performance 2. Gino Manzares was the Witches to have a duff night this week, hope he ok after akward looking fall.(bike seemed to have too much drive) 3. Peterborough were poor tbh especially Hall, Dilger and Barrett. Only beating each other or scoring when only 3 finishers (twice Hall was about half a lap behind when a rider in front crashed) 4. Well done new Witches number 1 Rohan Tungate Thing is can only be downhill for him now! No sorry its that long ago! Possibly Hampel scored a full 15? Goolob did and i think it was on tv! Sal Clouting scored full max in 98 i think, but only 4 rides....
