Maybe Chris Louis is making the comeback?

When do promotions apply for a visa for the following year? Is it now once they have agreed terms for the 2015 season or could a visa be applied for now with the intention of not activating the visa until the following year? Eg could a team apply now for 2 riders but only use 1 now and the other in a years time?

Because that would mean talking to the public, something that the promoter seem loathe to do!

Were told to do so but could only use 7 words, instead they used 5!

Thought Aussie riders were not allowed to double up/down this year? Or is that another rule overlooked by Somerset?

What would happen if the visa was applied for before the new limit was set?

More likely that ipswich were also after a new rider on a 5. That rider is now a 7 so back to the drawing board..... Sissis I believe has a Greek passport so can still be a 5.

Thats correct, 7 is the new starting ave for a rider needing a visa to race. Seems that Somerset were aware of it but have chosen to ignore it! As for Sissis, believe he has dual nationality so would still be a 5.....

Hope Chris Louis was at the AGM that stated all riders needing a visa were to be given a 7 ave and not a 5 as previously thought.......

But the bspa told them he would be a 5 when asked a year ago..........

Don't think Sissis has had much if any experience on a 500cc up until this summer. Will need plenty of practice over our winter but is in the right place to get it. A signing that any fan would have welcomed for their side. Hope Sheffield don't break themselves financially though with the deal.
