What The Visa Issues Could Mean For Teams.
2ndbendbeerhut replied to doners1234's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
1st it was Campton 4.66 Then Wethers 5.50 Next was Poole 6.05 Seems to have missed Manzares 6.02..... -
With Taylor Poole being the latest rider being refused a visa who's next...... Btw Taylor ave 6.05 1st it was Campton 4.66 Then Wethers 5.50 Next was Poole 6.05 Gino 6.02 may be safe then........

But when was he asked? Far as i am led to believe no PL clubs have been given their sponsorship entitlement back yet. Without this a club cannot apply for any visas/work permits. Once the clubs have their "house in order" then the riders will be allowed to apply for their visas themselves through the clubs sponsorship. These new visas will have to be paid for again (about £1000) but there is no givens that they will be accepted. Look at Mason Campton at Workington, the club were told that a visa would not go through if it was applied for. Tungate should have no problems but there has to be question marks over Manzares though...... As for coming into the country, the rider may be allowed in on holiday visas, but would have to leave the country and re-enter on the work visa. Think a few riders have done this in the past. Guests and R/R can only be used once a rider has ridden for the club.

Just like Danny King then, a BSPA asset when signed by Ipswich then signed by Coventry but priority is given to Coventry. Looks like Coventry are playing the system very well!

Priority Over Double Up Riders 2015

Oh well never mind..... thats karma for you..... -
Looks like you have 2 options if you already paid for the football why pay for speedway too! Or you could just goto speedway and watch the football on sky go. The club could bring it forward or just go back to a Thursday fixture....
-
Note for the Good Friday fixture: Ipswich Town’s Good Friday match against Championship promotion rivals AFC Bournemouth has been selected for live broadcast by Sky Sports. The match, on April 3, will now kick-off at 5.15pm as a result.
-
Rene Bach must be either too expensive or guesting elsewhere then?
-
Withs todays news that Newcastle have bought Ludvig Lindgren from the BSPA wonder if Ipswich are seeking the same? Also if it did happen would that then mean the Witches would then have priority over Coventry? (but If not theres no point?)

Priority Over Double Up Riders
2ndbendbeerhut replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
“The two riders not selected from Tier 1 (Steve Boxall and Adam Roynon) will be on the guest list, along with some others not included in the draft, (Ritchie Hawkins and Carl Wilkinson) and I’m sure they will still be very busy as teams will require guests at times. “There are several more riders on the Tier 2 list who can all guest, and the reason for that is to avoid a situation which arose this year when there was nobody available to guest in a meeting, so we’ve virtually gone down to 5.00 in the National League on that list.” So who is allowed to replace Wright? Is it only the 4 riders (Roynon, Boxall, Hawkins, Wilkinson) that are mentioned above? Also have Kings Lynn announced their replacement for Jacobs yet? -
Priority Over Double Up Riders 2015
2ndbendbeerhut replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
But why shouldn't it be that the first club the rider signs for gets priority? Also what happens if a rider signs for another team once the season has started? eg Olli Allen, believe he is owned by Swindon but what would happen if he were to sign for an EL club in April. Would he then have to forego his Peterborough fixtures for his new EL club? As for race night, would be better id EL and PL were on different nights. its the fridays that are the problem..... -

So who rides for who then? Is there a list of riders with their priority somewhere? -
Ave is higher than King Also as King will be missing friday fixtures not many guests to choose from eg Plymouth (A) 24/4 24-04-15 Coventry v Belle Vue EL 24-04-15 Lakeside v Wolverhampton EL 24-04-15 Edinburgh v Glasgow LC 24-04-15 Plymouth v Ipswich LC 24-04-15 Scunthorpe v Redcar (TBC) LC 24-04-15 Somerset v Peterborough LC Danny King 8.84 Lasse Bjerre 8.65 Redcar Eddie Kennett 8.38 Lakeside Rohan Tungate 8.36 Sam Masters 8.22 Edinburgh Richard Lawson 8.22 Glasgow Nick Morris 8.14 Glasgow Josh Grajczonek 8.11 Somerset Ulrich Ostergaard 8.00 Peterborough Max Fricke 7.96 Belle Vue Ryan Fisher 7.89 Plymouth Aaron Summers 7.78 Glasgow Rene Bach 7.64 Stuart Robson 7.56 Coventry Steve Worrall 7.46 Lewis Kerr 7.54 Brady Kurtz 7.54 Somerset Matej Kus 7.52 Redcar Morten Risager 7.36 Plymouth Richie Worrall 7.32 Somerset David Howe 7.5 Scunthorpe leaves a lot of choice eh?
-
Good friday going to be fun....... guests have to come from Berwick (no Barker), Newcastle (no Kerr, Worrall) , Rye (no Kennett), Scunthorpe (No Auty), Workington (No Wells, Howarth) Also need a guest for Nielsen? and Peterborough possibly for Blackbird and Lambert (however if Blackbird is owned by Ipswich he will be able to ride as a PL asset!)
-
Where you read this mate? ah just seen it... Don't get the King issue King’s registration, meanwhile, is being held by the BSPA following the collapse of Birmingham as an Elite League club last season, and he is therefore classed as an Elite League rider whilst also having a Premier League team place with Ipswich. But Birmingham are not an EL club now so why is he classed as an EL rider?
-
Which is ******* . Both sign for a PL club first, then sign for a EL club to "make up the numbers" and the PL team suffers. King will be missing 7 meetings, inc the home and away fixtures v Peterborough, thats a car full less going to the away match!
-
But why not? If the 2nd team hadn't come along and signed him he would have ridden for his "first" team all year. The second team would have known the risks of clashes (like Ipswich not going for Ellis once it was known he was at Lakeside again) Makes perfect sense, oh hang on thats the problem..... As for the captaincy, leave it with Hawkins, seemed to thrive in the role, if it not broken don't try and fix it!
-
Who did King sign for first? That should be the team that takes priority....
-
Found a list of assets that was compiled a while ago so thought i'd ask who "belongs" where?
