Because they organised it , invited just the ones that lived near the hosting tracks and brought in a GP rider to compete against a second halfer , a fun rider and a novice. Not that the SCB knew the standard of two of them as they ( he ) had never seen them ride but just checked they had a race licence. The ladies, all of them, deserved better. Wonder how many will be at Redcar for the final round ?…..enough to fill a race ?

I worked it out because it was a childish comment. Yes, his heart wasn’t in it but you, being silly, have suggested it was ‘ revenge ‘, a very, very childish comment. -

More fool you for believing such an idiotic comment. Anyone who knows Kyle knows he would not do such a thing. -

The Redcar fans didn’t, just a couple of the usual key board warriors did. Every club has them, unfortunately. -
Despite the initial publicity by the powers that be of their idea to stage a Ladies Championship ( we all know who did it first ) there has been virtually no publicity since and the first two rounds are this weekend , at Edinburgh and Workington. When you see the entry list you can perhaps understand why. Just FOUR ladies entered at Edinburgh. We haven’t been told if the same four are at Workington. Katie Gordon, reigning champion who rides regularly in the Northern Junior League. Morgan Leonard who has just started riding a 500 cc machine . Wendy MacAllen, a lady who has attended speedway practices and has a motorcycle background. Celina Liebmann, a German who ride’s professionally in the Polish league and has ridden in the Grand Prix 2 series. So why so few when double that amount entered at the I.O.W. ? Im guessing Liebmann was invited to ride by the S.C.B ? Why ? She is clearly a very talented rider and way and above more experienced then the other three competitors and it seems a little unbalanced a field for a GP rider to compete in. Good luck to all the ladies but come on SCB , give the girls some publicity and make it an even playing field.

Kent Royals license revoked!

Nora events are ‘ flatrack ‘ events or ‘ ‘ Dirtrack ‘ , ( 2 different companies but both run under Nora rules ) but the last one that was to be held at Scunthorpe was cancelled as the company didn’t think the track surface was suitable for their event which was to include sidecars and quad bikes. These events are not solely ‘ speedway ‘ but have included 125 , 160 adult and 250cc speedway races. These same events have been held at both Kings Lynn and Redcar and possibly one or two other tracks ? Iwade ? Sittingbourne ? Richard has also run his own flat track events, not sure if the SCB licence those , presumably they are run under ACU regulations. -

They didn’t like his brother last week but cheered him this week. History is just that, move on. -
‘ Suspected’ ! You mean you just threw names from seasons ago into a keyboard without any thought whatsoever.

That must be the box that has been flattened, put in the recycling and taken away by the dustbin men.

Wow! You keep up with the news, three of them have retired some time ago and two only ride for fun.

Redcar vs Poole BSN SF 2nd leg 20th May

You’ve just done it again…” .Mulford NEEDS to start scoring at his home track “ …not, you would LIKE him to score or it would be good….your demanding he scores which is is being critical. He’s a two point average rider in his first season finding his feet and most of us can see the effort he’s putting in, give the lad a chance, he’ll come good when he can get on an even par getting out of the gate. -

Not putting pressure on Mulford then eh? He’s a 2 point average rider and up against two former Bears and veterans for goodness sake and that’s just in heat 2! It’s down to ALL the Bears and the guest being on top form , from heat one, something which is not a regular occurrence at home but they are capable of it. Poole ride Redcar as well , if not better , than their own track so it’s going to be a very tough one for the Bears. -

Under the new rules a No.8 can replace ANY rider in any heat but cannot be used in heat 15, the reason for which is only known to the person who made up the rule. -
5+1 at B’Ham including a race win, would have scored at Oxford but for an EF, same at Berwick where it would have been a paid four. Just because he lacks track craft doesn’t mean he lacks speed. Give the guy a break, he’s on a 2 point average, what do you expect !?!?.

Do you sack ‘em merchants every stop ! Give the lads a chance, how are the youngsters supposed to improve if they aren't given team spots ? Charles Wright is a prime example !

The facility ends when he declares himself fit to race, there’s no time limit on it, it’s a genuine illness unlike the Kennet scenario last year. He will want to race to earn some cash as it’s his full time job. The club will stick by him and the other riders who are still finding their feet as, unlike some of the keyboard warriors on here, the club show patience as the season isn’t going too bad….through in the K O cup, through in the Micky mouse cup and a first away win at Edinburgh in 10 years!
