I think there’s has been a bit of an issue with the takeover, about 2 weeks ago it was all agreed and done then a couple days later it all fell through due to reasons unknown, I think they are still planning some sort of change of ownership hence the complete radio silence from the club, but as these things take time I don’t honk we can expect to hear any news this year to be honest, regard to team building I reckon they probably have 7 riders signed up but if they takeover doesn’t happen they might have to have a re think as I’m guessing what buster can afford/pay will be different to city auction group man

I know 100 percent they have been in talks with him, I have been told today by a family member of a very experienced speedway rider that the deal is progressing well if not done. Obviously time will tell

Don’t think the takeover happened in the end. Tungate isn’t in the side but they have Andersen for sure. So it’s either Craig cook or Richie worrall

NKI - signed Andersen - signed basso- signed holder - signed b. Cook- signed jenkins - signed as for the other one I dont think it will be anyone new to British speedway so that leaves tungate, batch, worrall or Craig cook . Assuming tungate and batch will be at Ipswich soooo….

I’ve got a bad feeling about all this. Very quiet on the takeover front. And six riders including Andersen…. We need a big big number 1

Here’s a thing, IF the sale of the club has fallen through and Tomlin is not the new owner pumping loads of money in, then maybe the riders they have signed so far will need to be told that’s not the case anymore and they will have to start team building again with busters funds ?

Well your the one in the know. Based on the statements made in the last few weeks Andersen is definitely in the team. As for being 2 points under. Maybe they are trying to sign a big number 1. Bjerre or dare I say it.. nicki pedersen ? Doesn’t look like he’s signed up in Sweden and was going to ride for Sheffield before covid ?
