I was there and after the meeting was told by a rider that jack was not happy at all with emils riding. Hence why I said what I said in an earlier post, anyway that’s by the by and the main thing is emils health, and luckily he seems to have come away generally unscathed

Kerr aggravated an old injury tonight at Oxford, still scored well but could be a doubt for tomorrow now ?

Makes no sense does it ? Personally I think buster and Dale have completely fallen out of love with it all and just can’t be bothered, they are just going through the motions now and that will be it come the end of the season…… if not before

If they call off Thursday I’m not sure where they are going to fit it in. If they did a bit of a shuffle with the meetings they could go home and away with Ipswich on august bank holiday Monday and move the Birmingham fixture if brum have a spare day, either way lynn wouldn’t be in this position if they had at least tried to run some meetings earlier in the season. As a speedway fan I’m going to Lynn on Thursday, like I said earlier there is riders available to guest, yes they may not be as good as the three that are missing but it’s still live speedway for me at the end of the day, anyway lynn have supposedly got 2 new riders coming in next week anyway

I never said they was adequate, but people say there’s not enough riders in British speedway. There clearly is, if you had 2 foreign riders plus 4 from the list above you could have a team. I didn’t say anything about them replacing the injured riders at lynn

I think there is more than enough riders to fill premiership teams. kerr mountain z cook hume kemp s.lambert MPT that’s just a few, you get 2 foreign riders in that list above and you’ve got yourself another team

1 point each for postponed fixture due to weather makes sense. However if kings Lynn postponed because of rider availability it should be 2 points to the away team. There plenty of riders about that they could choose from

I’m sure I read somewhere that If he has one more crash and damages that elbow he will have very complicated issues for the rest of his life….. can’t be worth the risk surely, he’s got his fingers in a few pies business wise plus he’s starting his DJ career, 3 time world champ, he’s got nothing to prove to anyone anymore

That is true, buster wants nothing to do with speedway anymore, however he is totally unrealistic with his valuations of things, I’m sure he will charge extortionate rent and then there is buying the license off him etc …the panthers consortium know how hard that is, apparently he wanted to charge them way more than what the bspa said it was worth?

Looking at the fixture list they literally have one Monday and one Thursday free until play off dates which is 9th September. Honestly they are going to struggle to get these fixtures done especially if we have the threat of more wet weather

What about someone like toft at 6 ? Plenty of experience and seems to like it round the nss. Granted it’s a bit of a gamble but if they PHB contract can’t get sorted he might be an option

We all knew this was coming. I personally heard 2 weeks ago that he wasn’t coming back yet the club still telling everyone he was ! I wish they would be transparent with their fans rather than just trying to cover everything up all the time,

I’ve heard from a few riders and it seems to be the growing rumour that he doesn’t like the way the club is being run and would rather not return, I bet if he got offered a job at Ipswich or even Sheffield now if woffy is gonna be out for a while he would rather go to one of them clubs

The hold up was not on the consortium side, however in the long run it’s probably a good idea the lisence was not bought at the time of initial discussion

Absolutely gutting for him, that’s two season ending injuries in 2 seasons. And it wasn’t even his fault, if he didn’t have bad luck he’d have no luck at all ! Hopefully he come through this and still has the drive to carry on next year. He’s a class rider on his day and would be a shame to lose him from the sport, buster needs to get shopping now, Lynn have started to pull things together and the playoffs are still in sight
