  1. Really? Why would you need a running commentary on what you can actually see? Peter York used to do it and I found it irritating and pointless. Hard to hear over the bikes anyway
  2. Holiday's have just started so got ages to do it! OK I'll admit that Lynn weren't too bad last year but were very poor last night.
  3. Wouldn't get too carried away after one good result against a very, very poor (is there any other sort?) King's Lynn side. Think I'll see how we fare against a decent team - ie any side that Chapman hasn't got his grubby hands on - before making such predictions.
  4. Feel exactly the same. Can count on both hands the number of home meeting's I've missed since '72, but interest has waned a little these last couple of years and last year was the first since '72 that I didn't take in at least one away meeting somewhere. Six months now since the last home meeting and really should be counting down the hours until the first meeting but I have no desire to go. Partially due I think to the poor racing at Ipswich these days, despite commendable efforts to improve the circuit, but mostly due to the totally Micky Mouse league we find ourselves in and the farcical new ownership situation.
  5. Two weeks until the new season and the anticipation should be building, but for me, with the Witches in the wrong league, now owned by Chapman, (a remarkable man really who took over the running of a sport on it's knees and has dragged it even lower, a man who I wouldn't trust to run a school lollipop crossing during half term) with a mediocre, uninspiring side, I have zero enthusiasm for the new season. Will I be going? About as likely as the likelihood of the town's embarrassment of a football team avoiding relegation.
