Just shows how bonkers the rules and the sport has become. I’m a tigers and aces fan but can not accept what happened last season as right. It’s a joke. This ridiculous situation doesn’t happen in any other professional sport.

Every KL and Ipswich fan should stay away and treat the half-wit Chapman with same the contempt that he has treated loyal speedway fans over some considerable time. As I have said before the deceitful shallow man deserves nothing from fans only derision. Take note Mr Chapman, what goes around come’s around!!

Agreed, so KL can not get a rider from BV or a Championship rider? Absolute Bullsh*t. Another stab in the back for speedway fans and the sport by the stupid clown Chapman who clearly doesn’t give a dam. Also shows as if we didn’t know that Morris has zero authority as the so called CEO. It’s time both these pathetic fools were drummed out of speedway.

Not a surprise as Godfrey like Chapman is a complete waste of time, he could not run a drinking competition in a brewery. He’s only interested in his poxy Scunny club. Once again it’s proved that speedway is run by utter idiots who clearly could not care less about the disastrous way things are going. I give up!

I’m up just outside Glossop and the weather is awful and it’s supposed to get worse during the day! Won’t be surprised to see the MEETING OFF post soon.

I have a lot of respect for Bomber he’s been a good ambassador for the sport over many years and gives 100% effort for whoever he’s riding for or against. He’s been moved about from club to club not alway by his own making but always becomes a team player both on and off the track. He always has time to speak with fans. I’ll be very interested to hear what he says and I’m sure it will be the truth because that’s how he is. I hope he names the people who have dragged speedway down to the gutter level it’s in now.

Fair point BUT the damage the clown Chapman has inflicted on the sport due to his stupidity and incredible mismanagement and total lack of any business acumen at the BSPA is staggering and he has run the sport into the ground. He deserves no plaudits.

Yes agreed but sadly that won’t happen as they are complicit and will operate the old palls act. Godfrey is an idiot and it’s clear that Morris has zero authority and tbh equally clueless. Chapman should have his license revoked and kicked out ages ago.

We should all be astonished at this thoughtless snub but with the useless clown Chapman in charge it angers me but frankly doesn’t surprise me. The man is a complete imbecile. The loyal PB and KL fans deserve better and them that thinks Chapman has been good for the clubs and sport are now seeing what an unintelligent little sh*t he actually is! He doesn’t deserve any support and the sooner he goes the better.

Agree with you Mikeb, we can not compare the clubs ‘back in the day’ with now. The sport has had some really great opportunities but wasted them, speedway has never evolved and move with the times and attracted new fans and investment. Speedway is THE original extreme sport that promoted properly and inclusively should have attracted young fans and main line media and major sponsors. New modern stadiums that fans enjoyed watching racing in comfort, rider role models that young fans associated and interacted with. But the clowns in Rugby have screwed it up.

Sadly there’s no quick fix for Speedway as Mick Bratley said it’s been decades of mismanagement and decline. The simple fact is it’s the people who so called ‘run’ the sport who are responsible NOT the fans and sponsor’s who have walked away in there thousands or even the riders. The sport is now effectively bankrupt and the ‘good old days’ will never return. When the owners/promoters lose there shirts and some will, then they have only themselves to blame.

Apparently from when BV was taken over they have lost hundreds of thousands of pounds some say over a million and them people are supposed to be hot shot business people but they rely on mark lemon two much to run the show, who’s only a TM and way way out of his depth and has never run a club or even a burger van. And we wonder why the sport is bankrupt.

Will there be a change? i very much doubt it, the clowns running the sport haven’t the ability to change things, they will keep plodding on until it drops dead in front of them and blame everyone but themselves. What a shambles it’s another nail in KL and PB coffin and more serious damage to speedway. Chapman has zero credibility and is treating fans like imbeciles! Fans should absolutely no support for him and see the clown out.

Ok, I’m not a big fan of tractor man Chapman mainly for the damage he’s caused to our sport during him being chairman and Co chairman with the equally stupid Godfrey of the BSPA and also the way he’s irresponsibly mismanaged KL and PB and plunged both them clubs into being joke. Don’t be fooled by deceitful Chapman he is only looking after his own self interest to keep KL running so he can rent out his shi*thole stadium to another poor looser. He’s clearly had enough of speedway now that he’s run it into the ground and had his fingers burned and says he hasn’t the money so wants away. How pathetic!

Just what shifty Chapman deserves for all the under hand dealings and stupid antics he’s been up to. The common denominator with these deals going pear shaped is Chapman. Over the years he has fallen out with everyone. You will never get to the facts because Chapman is a devious little sh*t who doesn’t tell the truth. Most people, even them that have stood up for Chapman, now realise what a dodgy untrustworthy bloke he is and what’s happening at KL and PB is all down to him. He has brought all of this on himself as what goes around comes around. The fans of both clubs deserve better.

Me neither! BUT I feel the situation is so bad and has been so poorly managed it appears to be inevitable.

100% agree BUT sadly Chapman won’t be sanctioned as his mate the equally useless Gormless Godfrey is the BSPA chairman. The management and authority of speedway is and always has been in the hands of a very selected few. Once again it’s the fans that get a bad deal and will be affected and then the promoters will be scratching their heads wondering why the crowd levels are rubbish!

Ok BB, so we will see BUT as the owner of KL he should not have given Brady so much power and control, a very bad move by Chapman. Similar error of judgement at PB and buying all them duff engines with BSPA emergency fund money, I could go on!!! The big problem when dealing with a proven liar like Chapman you just don’t know what is true and what is a lie so to be on the safe side you just take everything he says as a lie.

Good luck with that then, Chapman has said publicly he hasn’t the money. Which probably means he doesn’t want to chuck money down a big hole that he’s created. It’s a bit like the arsonist trying to slack out his own fires! The whole situation is an embarrassing self inflicted shambles and if it wasn’t so serious it would be a joke! Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse it does. What the tv company and other stakeholders make of the situation is anyone’s guess. Sure they won’t be happy and laughing.
