  1. Cheap Anlas tyres all stored at Scunny. Probably getting near to the end of the season supply and they've been sat in a container baking in record heat all summer. It's not rocket science is it? Didn't they instruct when similar problems last season that riders should put talcum powder on the rim as the tyres were much harder to fit than Mitas.?
  2. 100% Core strength is vital. If compromised how can he be allowed to ride.
  3. I think there have been many Brummies fans who have experienced the jobsworth attitude of stadium staff and their lack of customer service skills and training. Confiscating water in bottles and personal containers on entry perhaps the most glaring example.
  4. I've relatives on my wife's side from Devon so usually make a few visits. To be honest haven't really enjoyed experience at PB since Stadium changed to AR group. Both the Masons and new lot have tried but it's like being at an Away track, no warmth from non speedway staff. Quite the opposite on occasions.
  5. so what time are Plymouth going to announce the signings of Lahti, Klindt and Rasmus ... just need to know so that the good residents of Dorset and Hampshire can be alerted to a major Sewage / Effluent incident near Poole...
  6. Wonder how many Poole assets have been told not to ride for other clubs. As for replacement for Kennett, Gary May has reportedly tried over a dozen and at least one wasn't allowed by BSPL. Usual arrogant twaddle from a Poole know all.
  7. Yep Thats their inbred arrogance. Leicester beat Poole home and Away Plymouth thrashed Leicester at home and run them close at Leicester. Dickson isn't daft he'd choose Poole over Plymouth and Edinburgh over Poole. Redcar are tougher to assess for Leicester I'd say out of all their semi options. Depends the order of 4th 5th 6th Id think Glasgow would prefer anyone but Edinburgh lol.
  8. Not sure Leicester would pick Plymouth in any semi final - didn't they only get 30 point there in the League and Plymough got over 40 at Leicester? If Plymouth make semi's I think Leicester might fancy Poole a bit more?
  9. I doubt the quality of Guests they have had to book have been "cost effective" at all - quite the opposite as they are hostages to mercenaries , no need to name names but a few will ask and get top buck everywhere or try to!. Clearly had Barker stayed out of trouble and Gilkes stayed fit they would have been very strong anyway. Losing MPT at the same time and Bowtell who was very strong at home and vastly improved in last few months he rode away was a clear blow too. They would possibly prefer Redcar to finish 7th as Scunny don't have as many usable Guest options as others elsewhere have explained.
  10. It'll be just the Redcar Match that decides play off positions from 4th to 6th (and 7th) Plymouth have a superior points differential over Edinburgh so could win v Redcar and finish 4th and play Edinburgh who finish 5th if that happens. Redcar could get a 4 point away win and finish 5th and play Edniburgh leaving Plymouth 6th to play Poole. If Redcar draw or lose by less than 6 points they pip Scunthorpe for 6th place. I've read on Plymouth website that the re-arranged Glasgow Home match is on Tuesday 6th September. That will count in final league positions but WON'T count in play off calculation as the final cut-off is Wednesday 31st August. By riding it though they avoid a hefty fine from BSPL.
  11. Robs going to pay him what? 80 a point? What will he earn in Poland? Considerably more I'd suggest. Like someone has said best not to upset the Poles.
  12. Glads may not need guests if rumoured signings are correct
  13. Shame Lawson didn't have the same attitude. Hopefully Michael will come back stronger and fitter next season.
  14. Plymouth Glasgow won't be staged b4 cut off So Plymouth have just match v Redcar to count in play off calculation. Presumably they'll have to race after cut off to avoid a hefty fine.
  15. Where's Gary Newbon. Who once did an expose on Bruce Penhall cheating. This is all very cloak and dagger. Edinburgh come back from the dead at Oxford Referee calls off Glasgow at Plymouth when most want to try to race meaning both clubs have to race that after cut off. Redcar come back from the dead tonight as Lawson suddenly hands Redcar 2 x 5-1s What's the betting scunny get a last heat 5 - 1 to win at Berwick by more than 6 points. Puts Scunny on 30 Whats then the betting Redcar get a 6 point win at Plymouth with loads of controversy. Bet Lawson Guests for Redcar!
  16. Tomasina Brennan - doesn't like damp patches - 2023 wanabee
  17. classic bully boy small IQ mentality; narcissistic... always claiming he's spoken to someone, qoutes an all, delusional bullies don't like it back, can't handle it
  18. Only CL match timorrow should be decent choice
  19. Lawsons right The throttle works both ways. He went in dangerously hard and too fast. He knows that. Why would he say anything different to you. He may not be known as a dirty rider, he is very well known as someone who can be belligerent when he falls out with people. Ask the North West speedway community. There's history with him and MPT, Ostergaard, and others. It's had a deep impact on MPT and Plymouth for sure.
  20. Lisa. "didn't touch him a lot" A bit like the defendent saying "I only shot him once your honour"
  21. Yeah like Dicko giving his play off a tactics to rent a gob.
  22. Let everyone make their own judgement. The view was overwhelming at the time that it was unfair riding. The impact on Plymouth, Peterborough and MPT himself has clearly been dramatic. There are far more dangerous people walking round in society and on speedway bikes than a partially fit MPT aren't there!?? He never touched him - I was there, some 30 metres away with a clear view. Has about as much credibility as Boris saying there were no Parties in 10 Downing Street to my knowledge
  23. veins in arms.... a sign of body building and fitness regime and low body fat and defined muscles. can also be increased blood pressure and poor circulation. they certainly don't look like speedway injuries?
  24. Absolutely spot on and the point I was trying to make. No point stagnating in a little pond. Do what Lambert and Bewley did - get in the big pond asap. Both Brennan and Flint and a whole host of others have wasted time in the NDL as it is, don't make the same mistake again.
