So you could have ridden home leg against winners on Wednesday night. You coukd have ridden home leg of Jubilee Cup - Glasgow would have been delighted as already at Plymouth on Tuesday night. Until the enforced change. So Jubillee Cup Final or KOC Final (or is it semi) could have been staged surely Finals are important and semis more important than quarters Discuss

Promoted to the Board in his virgin season via a call from the Chateau. We await the hereditary promotions of the young Masters Godfrey, Louis and Bates clans in due course.

Exactly...

Oh here we go. The Forum Trolls / Bullies now turn their attention to Glasgow and more specifically one of the best british riders of his generation with innuendo and queries about why he is not riding. The "form / mantra" of these trolls is clear. That's why people as "why are Poole so hated" For the easily provable record Craig Cook has suffered a series of high speed crashes in recent months, has probably come back too soon from some of them and in almost all cases has been an innocent victim. Its bad enough at the comments made and some of the inferences, winks and nods. When the guy also has well documented and well know mental health issues about which he has been very honest, it really does make you realise how desperately sad these trolls are. People in glass houses really should not throw pebbles and stones, you never know a bloody great boulder may land on you at any time! Behave! Leave the guy alone. He's beaten up physically and taking time out to recover, hopefully to smash the daylights out of Poole where it matters on the track with big points.

Poole 90% sunday 80% Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday More thundery too Take more than an hour of waiting around to clear the slop off that
-
Not the first time you've concocted weather forecasts Google Plymouth weather 100% continual sometimes heavy rain Saturday 90% same forecast for Sunday and Monday and Tuesday Remarkably similar to Poole. Might be light rain for a bit on the afternoon but 96 hours of continual rain forecast to precede it. A sensible promotion probably call it Monday morning save printing programmes

Bomber is best on rutted bumpy or deep tracks. It's his background on Grass Tracks. He's a legend in that regard. He loves Poole it reminds him of the Cornish fields
-
Glasgow and Redcar are proper race tracks, Wimborne Road most definitely never been.
-
That and the fact Poole know that Plymouth will have to rely on mainly NDL riders on Wednesday with several options with Danish commitments and several others booked for Big Als meeting at PB the same night. Thats the reason the bullies are so desperate to rush things through.
-
On behalf of all minnows in all sports let's hope they aren't bullied in to organising against their wishes with 5 days notice when the big club bullies are playing stupid games. Besides the weather forecast suggests any match in the South on Tuesday and Wednesday is very likely to be washed out. What next, Poole trying to stage both legs?
-
Very enjoyable. Flint was class above on the night. Brennan wasn't 100% but I agree seems to be over racing a bit. Best I've seen Connor Bailey ride very impressed and best I've seen of the twins away from Leicester. Of the younger brigade stand out was Ace Pijper, wow... Clearly destined for big things. Kemp seems to be battling himself at the moment and on a plateau. Well done Laurence and the staff, excellent track and well staged.

Not what young Ford is telling people - no more spare nights (cant get staff allegedly) other than Wednesdays.
-
Looking at the weather forecasts from Saturday to Thursday there will probably be a few ducks there and no-body else #washout What will Danny do then as he allegedly has no other free dates before 31 October? Double Headers??..
-
Hope he's ok Be a shame if his British career was ended in a pointless fixture.
-
Looking at the weather forecast for Southern England from Friday to next Thursday, 70% chance of heavy rain at times each day and thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday they'd best get a bloody big tent organised pdq! Summer looks most defintely over and a very wet spell ahead!

So is the rumour true. Poole announced home play off for 7th Agreed with some possible opponents e. g Redcar and Edinburgh but not Plymouth Poole selling tickets before Plymouth agree to date. Oh dear. Messy. -

Lawson has been unhappy with Richie Worrall for a while.. Lawson naughty on Hans too... He don't like Danes either! -

He may have been taken out of context I guess tonight. If plymouth beat Glasgow they would end up 4th above Edinburgh on aggregate scorevdifference both on 32 points But for the purpose of the play off with cut off tomorrow they'll finish 6th with 29 points. Only in speedway -

Some good racing there and a deserved Redcar win. How much the loss of a match not counting at cut off tomorrow will be the determining factor at the end of the season can only be guessed at. Plymouth may have won last week and finished 4th they'll never know. Got a meaningless match now v Glasgow and the rider who caused the call off might not even be fit to ride.... That's speedway I guess. Hard to pick winners out of both semis with masters and pickering wright and Jenkins carrying injuries and Worrall not 100% and Kemp and Ablitt poor plus plymouth relying on a small number of guest options. Date and decision of Ben Barker hearing may be crucial to them as presumably he can ride or is banned and if he's banned won't they lose guest facility as normally no guest for a banned rider -
Not sure they are massively faster as some track records are stubbornly quite a while ago. I think its just that the engines rev so high that they are prone to taking off. There definitely isn't the throttle control of the old 2 valve and upright 4 valve era. Also possible that the air fence era and improved protective equipment has lulled the recent generations in to a (false) sense of security. You see crashes now that people just wouldn't have walked away from 20 - 25 years ago. Thats MASSIVELY positive but it remains a very dangerous sport.

Ouch nasty. Good job it's not as bad as it looked. He seems to have hit a damp patch going in to the first turn.

Bit surprised they haven't gone RR for Charles as Lawson and Kerr will be hard to beat round there and probably better than Charles. I guess it's the doubts about fitness of Jenkins and Kasper. Atkins certanly adds a whole new dimension as he can be very good round there. -
Are Poole desperate to ride at home v Redcar, Plymouth or Edinburgh on the 7th? If so why? What's the rush? Can't they ride KOC or Jubilee Cup? Is something happening on the 8th or after? Surely arranging matches when you don't even know opponents is desperation? Maybe someone could enlighten us?
