While Pirates belong in the top flight it makes no difference to me as I follow and enjoy all levels of the sport

Swedish speedway has suffered huge losses due to small crowds this season even after the lifting of restrictions so it will take sometime to recoup them. As reported in the Star they won't be able to afford the top star line ups like this season, no matter when they came in. Champions Dackarna cud only attract 989 for the home leg of the play off final with Woffinden, Doyle, Janowski Thorssell etc in their side. That must have crippled the club"s wallet.

I'd say that happens all the time in British Speedway.

A better team it seems but will it attract the additional support through the gate to make Newcastle speedway sustainable in the future? Can be a extremely difficult decision to make when building a team, do you stick within budget and risk losing support or twist and av a big name, e.g a Crump or a Pedersen hoping to pull in the extra bums on seats. Having thought about it, which i occasionally do lol, guess it's better to walk before you can run given the circumstances.

We shud sign Gino Manzares. Plenty of untapped potential which would be tapped into in the Skull and Crossbones!

Newcastle are putting together a team within budget so they can continue racing which is great but on the flip side u still need to attract more people thru the gate to make the business sustainable into the future. On paper sadly I don't see the team attracting more people thru the gate well not people who know about speedway. The other way of course is to do plenty of marketing and sell the sport to those that are new to it. Anyways not ere to give a lecture coz it's all common sense stuff.
