Not hindsight, was blindingly obvious from the start of the season that Lions were weaker using both Twins. I only show interest in the Twins coz Leicester is my local track & to release Mountain and then also not to use Humey was a big oversight by Dickson. Anyways, Humey was wisely chosen by us Pirates to help win the double.

I don't understand what Discovery are doing with SGP2 .....No where else would the starters be served after the main course!!!!! In other motor sports like F1, MotoGP, Motocross etc the 'support' classes are all run before the main event. Only in speedway could it be done head over a*se!

So are Danish are obligated to ride in the Danish League? Seems odd if u ask me coz surely they wudn't be paid much in Denmark so wud kick off about it and convert to being Polish. And if they are obligated, why can't we obligate British riders to ride over ere?

Can't be the team coz were supposed to excited by it. I'm saying that even with there being 3 Pirates in there & Pickers.. It's a good team if it is that but doesn't get me rushing down the road to attend, now if Nicki P was announced then.....

Probably cost them more to take out a legal case than wot they are owed. We've had the odd shady character or 2 at Long Eaton but av also had the best in the business run the club. The club was always well supported though with crowds in excess of 1000 per meeting so thankfully I don't think anyone was owed money. Surely the BSPL shud now do more to vet individuals/companies to make sure that they av a certain amount of assets (cash/property) which can be used to pay riders etc should circumstances dictate the need to do so. Hope all works out at Eastbourne and someone comes in to run the club who as a conscience.

They weaken the Lions being together. When it came to the crunch this season they were not good enough. At the start Lions shud av kept Mountain and gone with either Dan or Joe but not both.

Can't wait for the day when the Twins race for different teams. Not doing Lions any favours being in the same Championship team.

He was on the pace with BWD though, in one race Congreve passed a couple then kept up with BWD. That said, the track in NZ was totally different to wot he will face at Brough Park. Hope George adapts well & helps Newcastle build on their future.

Riders averages are not going to have Eastbourne meetings taken out of them! Stewart Dickson clarified this in a centregreen interview at Leicester, a meeting I was at. He was unhappy about it hence his comments. Be told!

Agreed. The idea of having Morley at reserve would leave you a tad weak. That said, like we found with Keleher, keep tabs on how riders are performing elsewhere and bring in a kick ass reserve, well eventually! Sarjeant at reserve? Tom Woolley? ok ok
