  1. Bomber average around Leicester? Well if his average is getting double figures then I'll agree with u. Wouldn't dismiss Bomber wherever he rides, 100% commitment & entertainment........need more like him
  2. At Long Eaton there was only ever one race time needed ......'Fast Enough!'
  3. Whoops, only just looked & realised where the Games are actually being held from the information above. Would be nice to think that Brummies could get a bigger crowd with the number of extra people in the area of Birmingham city centre?......... But with the Perry Barr Travelodge charging £114 per night for a room because of the Games it doesn't encourage a speedway fan to travel & stay over. Mind u there is also a train strike on Wednesday. You can see why sadly Birmingham speedway won't be getting my admission money on this occasion. Ermmmm me balls are snookered !
  4. Oh reet, well it's odd how they were still doing the refurbishment on the Perry Barr train station with recognition to the Games around the outside of the ticket office. Maybe sumone didn't tell network rail coz they even stopped trains from stopping there during the refurbishment.
  5. Sadly No surprise with the athlete's village not being finished in time from the lack of construction I noticed a few months back. Guess they'll use the buildings when completed for asylum seekers? Thanks for the information
  6. Lions using a Pirate? Surely that's goes against the Geneva convention? To quote, 'compelling a protected person to serve in the armed forces of a hostile power'
  7. Commonwealth Games As the Games start next week would it be possible for a local supporter to advise on how busy it will be in the Perry Barr area as athletes & athletic's fans are staying there. Although I'm not going this information may help fans that are traveling to the speedway in regards to parking & any extra travel time required. Thanks in advance. P.s there is also a train strike on Wednesday 27th which may add to the traffic.
  8. WINborne Road . 55-35 Thoroughly enjoyable night again down at trackside cheering on the Pirates Scorpions had no sting in the tail but fair play to Lugless Douglas for providing sum entertainment from the away side. C'MON THE PIRATES #piratepride
  9. Ermmmm, Thompson's didn't make them stronger last season when it mattered most. But I understand that they wouldn't want to lose one or both easily after all the investment of time & money that's been put in to their development at Leicester.
  10. Lisa u is being Nawty again! Nathan will kick his ass !
  11. Not so sure about a technical track at the moment since all the waves were taken out. Home advantage as disappeared of late which is partly to blame for the inconsistencies within the team. But we showed against wee Glasgee that we are back!
  12. This liddle Turnip just landed onto Pirate Land! An epic 11hr 30min journey by bus, including time waiting for the connecting buses! Didn't seem too bad apart from the first National Express where the driver seemed to want to Freeze everyone's congicles! As it happens it's a good job I hadn't planned to travel by train today because of the heat of yesterday still causing disruption!
  13. He may av the initial's NA but Nathan is proving to be quite the opposite Let's AB-LITT!
  14. U mean u would eat him when u say u wud av him as a Lion? All Pirates are now banging in the points again, so watch out yer pesky Lions! Good on Richard at the end of heat 15, top chap
  15. Sat on the next National Express which departs from London Victoria @ 930 direct to Poole Hope this bus hasn't got the air con set to Freeze! Had a Touch Of Frost on the last bus! Not sure lynx deodorant will be much use as an anti- freeze! Shud be in Poole about 1229. And to think I cud've been in New York by now,! Hey well, rather be doon Wimborne Road
  16. Whoever it was shud be using the word 'alledgedly' in their sumwhere. U wud like to think that the authorities investigate these kinda things properly but until an independent body is set up shadows will always be cast. Thinking about shadows I'm getting concerned about the shadow me belly casts these dayz!
  17. Ermmmm, that's life being a Chelsea fan isn't it not being a Pirate?
  18. Getting National Express from up ere to this meeting, 345am departure from Nottingham & changing in London. Arrive Pirate Land midday. Will need plenty of caffeine upon arrival
  19. Yep, good point. Me brain forgot that very important information
  20. Not sure if I'm a NID or not as I stood with them at Plymouth, Oxford & Edinburgh. Went to the Berwick but they were on the back straight. Anyways I av the said programme. Tad late for me now to be scanning but if by the end of the week is ok then pm me if you still need it. Cheers
