  1. This Pirate will be attending this meeting with only light showers forecast. No Craig Cook to get the meeting called off after 5 heats unlike last year, tut tut! Yes I had made the journey!!! Hopefully all set fine for a massive Final against our Scottish rivals & looking forward to both teams giving it everything. Looking for a Pirate lead to bring back south for next Wednesday. C'mon the Boyzzzzzz! Pirate Pride
  2. Play Offs This season the top 6 are split into 2 groups of 3 with the winners of each group meeting in the Grand Final. Not sure what advantage finishing top of the 'qualifying' league gives.
  3. As I awaken from a bad dream..........oh crikey wot happened there?? Oh well......... it's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life for me, ooh And I'm feeling good! C'MON THE PIRATES
  4. Still time for the Boyzzzzz to turn things round NID
  5. Only 20 miles from Oxford, stopped off for a pre meeting coffee
  6. According to BSPA website it's r/r at 2 & Heeps at 4 for Cheetahs?
  7. We'll ride on anything that's why we had the Waves of WINborne!
  8. More people may attend then if it's not being streamed like back in the good old days!! I'll be there although I do appreciate not everyone can make it for various reasons & yes I understand streaming is a good income source for clubs.
  9. I'll be there supporting the Pirates & cheering them on to more success. Oxford are currently top of the league on race pts difference from us so extra incentive for we Pirates to go to Cowley & do the bizzo! After being at Redcar I'm looking forward to attending another sensational meeting as I'm sure both sides will be giving it everything they've got. One not to be missed! C'mon the PIRATES
  10. Probably?, but last time they had Kerr as a guest and we won 52-38 ..........so probably not!
  11. I'm not sure wot u technically call this? Officially a draw with a an away draw win or just a win? Either way we got 2 points so I'm not bothered!
  12. True, especially as Redcar still get a point for their part played in this epic. Someone posted before the meeting that they couldn't get up for a meeting where both teams seem destined for the play offs. Maybe that person will now review that opinion if they have witnessed the drama played out before us. Just to add, if I dare, Erik Riss certainly didn't look right but only he will know.
  13. Back in me hotel after being at an absolutely enthralling meeting, well done to both teams! Dunno wot Worrall was thinking in heat 15 when all he had to do was sit in 3rd on the last bend but hey ho we Pirates did the job in the super heat. That's the Law-son C'mon the Boyzzzzz NID
  14. Yes he was, beat Bewley twice and showing that he's a Pirate wearing Lions clothing! I was there and I'm currently traveling up to Redcar
  15. You would be surprised wot riders ride with when they shouldn't. I was shocked how Craig Cook has ridden when reporting mental health issues.
  16. We don't know what discussion was held in the pits as Dickson had a few options to go with alongside Fricke in heat 15. All equally cud do the job. Imo Lawson should've been in with Fricke.
  17. In interview he said he didn't want it.
  18. I was at this meeting and Fricke was in a league of his own. New track record 58.75 (heat 1) and heat 15 was a classic.........move over folks ere comes Max for his Max! And a shout out for Pirate Lawson showing Bewley his back wheel twice, well done ship mate!
  19. I will be heading up to Redcar as well to cheer on the Pirates to the win. Going to be an extremely tough meeting especially now as the Bears have Erik Riss back in the team so it probably won't be as comfortable as the previous unexpected 52'38 win! I think the new averages are in force as well?? If so I understand Kyle Newman goes to number 2 and Anders Rowe goes to number 6?? Not sure but I'm sure others will confirm on here. Either way the boyzzz have the inner strength to fight all the way to the end as we have already proven this season that you never write off the Pirates during a meeting. This is gonna be a thriller. As Shaleshifter says there will be some real battles going on and expect all points to be hotly contested by both teams. Big Ben, small things make big thigs happen!!!! C'mon the Boyzzzz! Let's Havvy
  20. So long as it's not on a Wednesday evening! Like Birmingham with the greyhounds!
  21. Because a rider only as to have 3 programmed rides he can be replaced in one of his 4 programmed rides whether present or not. Referee was correct.
