  1. Workington will be hoping that there are no bugs in the system that plagued them last week as they will need to be at full strength, get well soon Tate, as the Pirates are in town. Don't think any of the Pirates have ridden Northside and it's my understanding that even Richard Lawson hasn't had a skid around there. This could prove to be a bit of a leveller as Craig Cook, Troy Batcherlor and co have had plenty of laps to get to know the best lines and set ups. I'm personally very impressed with the set up at Northside having visited there once last season. Looking forward to this first ever clash between these 2 sides at the new venue.
  2. I knew what I meant but av now corrected it myself. But thank you anyway for reading and digesting my thread, sorry it gurgled at the end!
  3. The first meeting between Glasgow and Poole since last year's Grand Final with Poole looking to regain the upper hand. At the time of going to press we wait to see who Glasgow have in for Steve Worrall but they do track recent signings Matic Ivacic and Jason Garrad. Poole have former Tigers Richard Lawson and Tom Brennan in their ranks with Tom especially going back to show what the Tigers are missing out on. Big clash between the last 2 Championship title winners.

  9. I'm sure the Boyzzzz will be full of buzzing confidence after the result at Redcar to take into this meeting vs Scunthorpe. Tricky team to overcome are the Scorpions as we av previously found out but this is a different day so I reckon @Steve Shovlar 52-38 to us Pirates! 12. Another enjoyable visit to the ECCO Arena and how Ben Cook loves riding around there. Mind you Richard wasn't far behind him and those 2 combining for 5-1s in heats 13 & 15 was a treat to watch Was great to catch a word with Danny Ford for 5 minutes before the meeting and we both predicted a 48-42 Pirates win, not far out! Hope Vinnie gets his bikes sorted after wrecking both & hope his shoulder isn't too badly injured. Excellent, we came through in the end after a battling display Congratulations to all the Boyzzzz, Havvy & Danny 41-49 3 points in the bag! C'mon the Boyzzzz!
