  1. For a number of reasons I definitely know that Tai will be in England in October . So not picking him would be a tad cutting off yer nose to spite yer face. Thank goodness Rosco still not in charge.
  2. Woffinden, Bewley & Brennan. All 3 picks are a no brainer. Woffinden......it's been proven that without him we would have no chance, not that it needed proving. Bewley......scoring loads of points for the Aces and track record holder. Brennan......Brit Under 21 champion and it's his home track. Got me grandstand tickets so bring home Gold lads
  3. Have you put these points directly to Len Silver and the Kent management? Bit pointless posting them on here if you haven't 4 portions of chips and 2 sausage rolls took 30mins from ordering to eating? You shouldn't be so greedy!
  4. At Long Eaton we always looked forward to the end of the season coz we only knew then if we were running the next season and that was on crowds of 1,000 to 1,200 in the nineties. Anyways, it's good to see that King's Lynn have started to perform better and hope they can attract a good crowd in against Wolves.
  5. Bout time they split Tatum and Pearson up. They're like 2 squabbling children in the playground. Tatum always sounds like he's talkin with saliva going thru his teeth! When Tatum was on with Louis, professionalism & sanity returned! Likewise when Pearson presents with someone else.. Sort it out
  6. True, next time they'll be telling the riders to turn round & race clockwise instead just so they match up with the graphics!
  7. Basso is the real deal..........he nailed it at Redcar, may av only scored 5 but you had to be there to see how hard, I don't mean dirty, he was racing on a track that he hadn't seen before. How well he knows other rider's abilities I don't know but you can tell it doesn't phase him. He's like, I don't care who you are I'm gonna come past! Plus he was the fastest rider of the night. To do that is mind boggling . Wish I could get down to Wimborne Road to see his home debut but I can assure all that he will give everything. Very exciting talent
  8. Don't like the bottom, I prefer to be up top!
  9. I hope tho when it comes down to the play offs he's fully focused & bikes are up to the job. But that's the same for all the Pirates and between now and then it still matters as top 2 is the aim. C'mon Rory one last push!
  10. Curtis sports programmes are professionally produced, downside is the more clubs that use them the more the programmes become very samey in their content & structure from club to club. Clubs kinda losing a bit of their own identity. Why can't clubs use a local print company? You av a choice, pay for one or simply draw up ur own race sheet if that's your requirement. For me I always buy a programme and Redcar's, altho Curtis Sports, is a damn sight better now than the 1970's effort from a couple of years ago! Have I gone off topic a bit!
  11. Team GB for me..... Woffinden, Bewley & Brennan Tai is the Best of British, 3x World Champion and a true leader. Mind his form of late even in the Ekstraliga is a little concerning. Ruthless misses out mainly because it's Bewley's home track. NSS track record as well Dan is the Man and as ridden alongside Tai at Wroclaw Brennan is simply the best of the Under 21's, he will love the banked tracked at NSS.
  12. Had an enjoyable night watching the Pirates at Redcar. Ok we lost but the racing is always fantastic there. Well done to the Bears & the Bears fans. Yes we did throw it away, just didn't have the final punch when we needed it most 8pts up goin into heat 11 and I thought if we got one more heat advantage before heat 13 it should be enough to see us home. But from then on it went poop, in fact very poopie! Ben Basso, WOW WOW WOW! He's sensational, watching him make his debut was an amazing treat. All out attack attack attack for all 4 laps. And in heat 8 he won with the fastest time of the night 53.9! A Star is born. BRASSO his nickname as he cleans up the opposition. Pirate's fans will take a shine to him! And we Pirates are top of the league, so not such a bad night after all.
  13. Excellent move You know it makes sense Just had a bit of junk food, McD's Middlesbrough
  14. That's a shame. Always cracking racing at Redcar. I'm 20 mins away from Middlesbrough on the train. C'mon the Pirates
  15. Sorry to hear about the call off. Happened to me the other week at Edinburgh during Pirates Northern Tour. Get over to Redcar if you can any travelling fans. Gonna be a cracker vs Pirates. I'm about 20 minutes away from Middlesbrough on the train.
  16. Typical speedway cock up with the start times. I would tend to trust the earlier start time which they had set for last year's October event at the NSS so that we might be a tad warmer. Bonkers avin the event in October anyways full stop, especially with the Manchester climate!
  17. Agree I'm on me way up there , train just pulling into Leeds. I can't Bear the thought of us losing! C'mon the Pirates
  18. Barry Bishop & Martin Widman Superheros!
  19. They sell sweets in a sweet shop, they sell toys in a toy shop &.......sell everything else in Pc World So why don't they sell tracks in a track shop? That would soon sort out the Waves of Wimborne !
