  1. On the Bears website, says that Frank Aufret will be giving a talk on Speedway and cycle speedway, at Middlesbrough Bowling Club, Cornfield Road, on Thursday 21st November at 7.30pm, tickets £2, come along and enjoy yourselves.
  2. Game over, match won and lost, whatever we write or think does not change a thing, look forward to next season, have a great 5 months.
  3. Two very contentious decisions made, but luckily did not affect the right result, however if Ulrich had not been where he was, he would not have been brought down, OK Crescent GirlLOL
  4. The Boro has had 18 hours of heavy rain, how is it up there, will it affect the match as the weather is supposed to improve from this afternoon with SUN shine coming.
  5. Well just checked my Pine cones and Bladderwort!!!, think I would plan for Monday 28th to run this fixture.
  6. To bring this topic back on track, I can only speculate that the Bears are waiting on the Premiership final tonight, to make sure Adam Ellis is fit to ride for us on Sunday??????..
  7. Looking at the weather forecast, this meeting may be in some danger of not running again, which basically does not leave many dates to hold this second leg, .
  8. Bears only just lost in the playoffs, but still in with a chance of some silverware in days to come, but I consider it to be our best season since we returned to speedway in 2006, we have the British champion, and the Championship champion in our side, which leads to exciting racing at the fairest track ..
  9. Well its roll up sleeves for the match tomorrow, whatever happens its been our best season since we came back in 2006, well done to all involved, now go win the cup, going for a 45 all draw.
  10. Hope I am wrong tomorrow, I have always said its the reserves that win matches, heat leaders normally cancel each other out, and I think the Diamonds 6 and 7 will have too much for our two!,.
  11. OK, cloud beating down in Middlesbrough now, .
  12. Sun beating down here in Middlesbrough at present, weather expected to be OK for rest of day.
  13. Weather been mizzly all day, but starting to clear now, expect meeting to go ahead and hope Mudgeways Mudlarks give us a 10 point lead to take down there. Good racing and all riders stay safe.
  14. Was the survey to clarify that the cup matches will be in October, so that Ulli Osta will go up into the main body, to avoid him getting 7 rides per match.
  15. http://Hope I am wrong but believe the injury to Charles has swung the tie to Easrbourne.
  16. Thunderstorms in eastern Scotland today, as we all know Scotland is higher then north east England, so putting 2 and 2 together all the wet stuff dropped today will flow downhill to our area, therefore in the interests of safety for riders and spectators, can we call the fixture off early. PLEASE.
  17. As a Bears supporter I think Tigers will win the meeting, but we keep the score close enough to go through on aggregate, only need 40 points, and with 3 heat leaders again and Jordy on fire looks good. All riders have a good and safe meeting.
  18. I see Nathan is riding in an under 21 championship this weekend, does that mean we lose him and have to get a NL rider????
  19. Bears announce 3 new riders, Eric Riss, Kasper Anderson, and Tom Wooley, With Eric and Tom named in Fridays second leg.
  20. I concur with all of the above posts, but for me the race of the night was heat 12 when Ben team rode Tom around for 3 laps with Connor trying inside and outside to pass, with the race won in over 58 seconds, worth the entry fee alone, well done though to Leicester, a well deserved win, with all team contributing to some fine racing.
  21. My first meeting for a couple of years, and I was impressed by the side the Bears have this year, all looked like battlers, so augers well for this season. They had a slow start but when dialled into the track looked very good, and look to have strength in depth. It was also nice to meet up with a few of the old regulars, they kept me updated on the few rule changes since my last attendance. Well done to both sides for the exciting racing in most heats.
