Peterborough Panthers 2020
Falcon1983 replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I wonder what annual payments Poole make to these riders year on year, the assets system is complete and utter bo-locks and should be scrapped. Even more a mockery when a riders only makes a handful of appearances then becomes an asset then 25 years later that club gets a loan fee -

Absolutely ridiculous that Poole should get money even if magic decided to come to the UK -
Remembered only for taking out King Nobody so far has mentioned taking greaves back either

with Bjerre that was bang on 42.5 before deductions so if you are saying Harris and Oyster are 6 & 4 respectively then there would be 1.1 to play with... could go for 1. Kenneth Bjerre/Anders Thomsen/Niels Kristian Iversen/Pawel Przedpelski/Chris Holder 2. Hans Andersen 3. Danny King 4. Chris Harris 5. Rohan Tungate 6. Bradley Wilson-Dean 7. Ulrich Ostergaard -
Yeah I felt he needed more time, think he would have done OK but probably not more than that, even forget what riding position he was at, head says 2

1. Kenneth Bjerre/Anders Thomsen/Niels Kristian Iversen/Pawel Przedpelski/Chris Holder 2. David Bellego 5.80 3. Rohan Tungate 6.59 4. Hans Andersen 5.79 5. Chris Harris 6.16 6. Bradley Wilson-Dean 5.47 7. Ulrich Ostergaard 4.94 -
Not sure what he has done since his stint at foxhall he was ok last time apart from wiping out team mates lol
-
What average would Paco and heartel come in on lol
-
How about our dear old friend Herr Heartel?
-
Can't see why Witches wouldn't use Covatti Not sure if it was just me but he looked really quick and rode Foxhall well on his visits last season, and at Reserve would clean up - oh and he's exciting to watch. Got to be for me Allen, Heeps, Covatti as a must, Klindt seems nailed on, King is part of the golf... I mean furniture
-
Only two maybe three golfers in that side lol
-
Agreed So you would like to see for example this side at Foxhall if you had a choice (or similar) 1. Kenneth Bjerre 7.75 2. Jake Allen 5.56 3. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.54 4. Cameron Heeps 6.30 5. Nicolai Klindt 7.43 6. Jye Etheridge 4.20 7. Tom Bacon 3.5ish?
-
places 5,6,7 would be up in the air - its going to be interesting to see how they build the rest of the side not sure what Pawlicki is scoring in Poland but doesnt have a Swedish side yet... if Witches do get a Pole they could do well to reach out into that community there are loads of poles in Ipswich and surrounding areas, but they generally support their own - if they pulled a Dudek, Janowski out of the bag then you'd probably see 500 - 1,000 poles alone rock up at Foxhall. Who do you think will slot into the remaining positions at both clubs? Swindon extremely top heavy no doubt they'll name Ellis next, tail will be loooooooooooooooooong
-
Was speaking to my polish friend Pawel who lives in Ipswich but has only ever been to Foxhall to support Krystian last season, he said if the Witches get a bigger named Pole then more from the local community would attend Foxhall, so how about this side. 1. Nicolai Klindt 7.43 2. Jake Allen 5.56 3. Danny King 6.83 4. Cameron Heeps 6.30 5. Piotr Pawlicki 7.32 6. Nico Covatti 5.27 7. Tom Bacon

Ultimately money talks, and I meant IF guy used it as a hobby I.e. lose a bit of money he could afford to bring in a Doyle or Woffy maybe, even tho doyle is signed I'm meaning the kind of calibre of rider as this is all make believe. If he came in as co owner that would be great with chris still doing the operational side as guy is still building his empire.
-
imagine if Guy took the reigns at Foxhall tho and it was his "toy" Not only would Witches become the most hated club in the country but you could expect a line up of something like 1. Tai Woffinden/Jason Doyle/Chris Holder/Kenneth Bjerre 2. Jake Allen 3. Danny King 4. Cameron Heeps 5. Nicolai Klindt 6. Nico Covatti 7. Tom Bacon

Can anyone see any new gp riders in Britain next year? Surely now with only the top 6 guaranteed a GP spot, The GP challenge will be a huge priority and with the Euro winner getting a slot nobody will want to risk british speedway for a pittance. Pedersen signing shows me he isn't going back into the GPs I'd love to see Mechelsen at Foxhall, what's his average from last time?
-
We all know its going to definitely be King, Heeps, Allen back... When in reality it should just be Heeps and Allen back So... King 6.83 Heeps 6.30 Allen 5.56 Lets add in as we all seem to think its a done-deal Klindt 7.43 I'll throw in Covatti as he rode Foxhall really well on visits last season Covatti 5.27 Leaves just 11.11 before any deductions Nick Morris? Adam Ellis? Ty Proctor? Garrity? Tom Bacon? Eric Riss? Kennett? Steve Worral? Jordan Stewart?

There is no point is teams smashing other teams as the post above says, get to 46 points then throw away points to keep averages down. Doesnt help the pay cheque but might keep a team spot the season after I think grading would be a good option, would need an independent body to govern the grading looking at maybe a 3 season cycle of what the rider has achieved in the UK and Europe. Have Grade A B C D Then allows clubs to build according A, B, B, C, C, D, D would be the normal Or you could do A, A, B, C, D, D, D A, B, B, B, C, C, D A, B, C, C, C, C, D B, B, B, C, C, C, D offer 5 ways to build a team Have season averages but end of each season averages are replaced with a Grade

not a Swindon Fan but can see it as this 1. Doyle 8.96 2. Piezecek 5.01 3. Musielak 6.21 4. Ellis 6.49 5. Batchelor 8.82 6. Nielsen 3.81 7. Perks 3.08
-
Top heavy worked ok last season
-
Can I offer this team minus King 1. Bjerre 7.75 2. Allen 5.56 3. Schlein 6.65 4. Heeps 6.30 5. Iversen 7.54 6. Covatti 5.27 7. Morris 3.32 or 1. Bjerre 7.75 2. Kennett 5.54 3.Heeps 6.30 4. Allen 5.56 5. Ellis 6.49 6. Covatti 5.27 7.N. Morris 5.38
-
Swindon will only release him if he is not doing the UK However I guess £££ does talk and a bit of UK sponsorship from Tru7 might well swing it so if its do-able how about 1. Iversen 7.54 2. Allen 5.56 3. Schlein 6.65 4. Heeps 6.37 5. Musielak 6.21 6. Covatti 5.27 7. Douglas 4.66 leaves 0.24 so could replace King with Schlein, however King was really poor at the back end of last season perhaps Schlein would be a bit more consistent home and away
-
Wouldn't mind seeing 1. Iversen 2. Allen 3. Schlein 4. Heeps 5. Klindt 6. Covatti 7. Stewart Although this is probably the 50th team I've put together

100% agree Try the 8 bike grid in the CUP matches 14 standard heats Heat 15 a team nominated their 4 riders, two lowest scorers start from the front row, two highest from the back 6 lap final race 7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 points so you could get a 22 - 6 result in the final race swing Some cup matches some teams will smash others on aggregate but so be it
