  1. I can confirm that there are 5 riders on that list that are correct
  2. Perhaps they can forget Klindt and go with 1. Holder 2. Heeps 3. Harris 4. Allen 5.King 6. Covatti 7. Nicholls
  3. Or people who arent actually committed so you end up doing everything lol
  4. My experiences of committees have been awful
  5. I would be happy with Chris Holder, think he would come in with a point to prove, and he would enjoy the tracks Ipswich, Sheffield, Peterborough, Belle Vue, Kings Lynn, Swindon - all good tracks for him Think he would average a low 8 if he was signed up.
  6. Holder would be good King should improve as last season I saw some woeful home performances Heeps I cant see him increasing, would like to see it but he is one I wouldn't have brought back on his current average Allen should improve Klindt should see a slight increase Covatti I think is the same bracket as heeps, will be strong at 6/7 then when in the main body may struggle Ayres would be good if he just scores his average So 3 or 4 increases among that septet But as ever it is all just opinions
  7. Or nobody wants Foxhole as a home track baldy lol I only used 3k as a figure as that's the rumoured amount Zagar was on just to show up. Time will soon tell
  8. I think if Ipswich really do want to compete.... now I know I have no clue what Pedersen is on at Sheffield but he must be at least on around £3k+ a meeting What I would like to see from the promotion is the Witches to go out and get a Pole, and a top level one at that.... Bartosz isn't going to happen thats for sure, but there might be some kind of possiblity for Dudek or Janowski I say Janowski because he has come here before, and has he not been left out of the Polish national squad for 2020? not sure on his Swedish commitments yet either But lets look at it as not much of a gamble but there are 5,000 poles + living in Ipswich/Felixstowe and 12,000 located in Suffolk... i've met a fair number of these poles (well say about 100) and they are all mainly younger generation who come here and work then go home or come here and settle but send money home etc. I would say out of this 100 there have been about 40 of them who like Speedway, about a dozen who have attended Cardiff or watch speedway live when they go home so if the Witches went and got Janowski in who is a big name Pole, paid £3k per meeting Average out at £18 entry into Foxhall, thats an extra 167 people through the gate to cover that cost, I would imagine you would most likely see an extra 100 or so non-poles if Witches got Janowski and if marketed correctly in the local area and on social media then you would see more of the polish community come to Speedway more frequently and thus covering the cost of the wages to Janowski. For me, I am hoping that something along these lines is seriously being looked at by the club, if GN is willing to add a bit of sponsorship in there too etc. it could work
  9. Top 8 to 10 GP boys wont really want in, I know Doyle is an exception but he blossomed late so in reality he is earning as much as he can before he retires, isn't it the top 6 in GP next year guarantee a spot for year after...so if you fancy a top 6 spot you wont want to do the UK as well. So leaves me thinking Holder, Milik, Iversen, Zagar, maybe Lindback? The likes of Woofy, Bartosz, Janowski, Vaculik, Freddie, Dudek, Madsen, Emil etc would not want the UK The young up and coming poles such as Drabik probably wouldn't be interested. Those not in GP maybe long shots Jepsen Jensen, Michelsen or Pawlicki
  10. Covatti Heeps King Klindt Ayes that last one is really going to blow peoples minds, or leave them disappointed. My feeling is that its going to be a big hitter as Baldy has said, why bring in Ayes if there is not a plan? or a high probability plan.... If it does not come off will they sack Ayres before a wheel is turned and go for a team built like last season..
  11. Pretty sure at some time they have fallen out with the Louis family also but now they support the club Everyone falls out in life with people, its just how its handled and made up. Example, if RT apologised to the club etc. things could be different
  12. I think I have the no.1 down to the following Bjerre - enticed with more money Lindgren - enticed with more money Holder - agreed deal just visa issues Milik - enticed with money Vaculik - enticed with more money Lebvedes - enticed with money Michelsen - enticed by Klindt and the offer of more money Harris - come back and put a few points on your average, offered less money
  13. Should be if the team is announced without a decent no.1 BUT its hearsay perhaps the club have someone lined up we just dont know who. Milik? Lebvedes?
  14. That would be under 41 in the championship tho right? That's where any team should be if they can't attract the riders to the league they are in Que louis to announce a GP star by xmas....
  15. 1. Danny King 2. Tom Bacon 3. Cameron Heeps 4. Ty Proctor 5. Jake Allen 6. Anders Rowe 7. Drew Kemp
  16. To be fair the witches are one of the most supported clubs in the league, quite a consistent gate, big turnout for cup finals or play off finals and to top if off have some good sponsors Surely this puts the club in a better fiscal position to sign a number 1 of a high standard IF they can find a rider to come and ride here So if one does not come in it's a lack of ambition on the promotion, here is hoping.... Welcome Zagar!
  17. Thomsen Andersen Tungate Harris Bech Palm Toft Ostergaard Does it fit yet?
  18. And when all the no.1's have been taken lol I just think with other teams announcing it would make sense to make at least a couple even obvious ones to please fans Or BSPA should have a stand at the NEC bike show and have all teams announced at one event where a new audience could get "excited"
  19. Shouldn't witches fans be worried? Surely they would have tied allen down to a deal and announced it just to keep fans happy or is he at sheffield? Cant see why not one announcement has been made unless they are planning to name all 6 at once
  20. If it is someone like Hancock then could be many reasons to delay the announcement, could be waiting on a sponsor etc etc. Even if Hancock is announced last, surely season tickets are still on sale so people would buy... I think clubs those who buy season tickets year on year are going to do so regardless I doubt Nicki P at sheffield would sell more season tickets than usual, but I bet more will go on the odd occasion than before
