  1. You're 100% correct however you won't get clubs moving up when they are happy paying Championship money to the same riders. So you entice clubs up by having rising stars at no.6 & no.7 and introduce a pay structure for riders between Champ-Prem money Top flight then consists of Belle Vue, Ipswich, Kings Lynn, Peterborough, Sheffield, Wolves, Poole, & Glasgow The championship is then weakened with 1* rising star riders at no.6 & 7 and team building in place that effectively removes the top 2 from each Championship club, also removes "top 2 championship pay" so the new top 2 riders will be on reduced terms This then consists of Berwick, Edinburgh, Kent, Leicester, Plymouth, Redcar, Scunthorpe & Oxford. League once Home & Away with play-offs (minimum 14 matches, 7 home) League Cup, 2 Groups of 4 split North/South riding home and away once (6 matches 3 at home) KO Cup - 2 legged knockouts The emphasis then must be on individual championship which is beneficial to homegrown riders to compete in and earn money from to make the sport worthwhile taking up and keeping riders active who ride here domestically, let the best riders we produce go to Poland but we need something here for the rest - 12 round British Grand Prix Championship ran on weekends - 6 Round British Rising Star Championship replaces the U19/U21 series ran on weekends These two events are for Eurosport, can be recorded and broadcast "as live" on the Monday TV slot if necessary. SpeedwayGBTV Live Steam service set up charged at a monthly fee of £9.99 and can have some league, cup meetings and other individual races, insights, interviews, classic meetings, documentaries etc.
  2. Having two rising stars at reserve is going to throw up some interesting main body teams
  3. possible, especially if Palm-Toft goes to Lynn
  4. Wolves from rumours are likely to be something like 1. Masters 2. Nicol 3. Batchelor 4. Becker 5. Morris 6. Flint 7. Kemp
  5. 1. Iversen 2. Andersen 3. Nicholls 4. Harris 5. Palm Toft 6. Thomas 7. Palin
  6. With two rising stars at 6 & 7 next season you'll see a few riders where there is a question mark if they are ready or not, Palin has done a good job this season as an example. 1. Jacob Thorsell 2. Kasper Andersen 3. Thomas Jorgensen 4. Lewis Kerr 5. Richard Lawson 6. Connor Mountain 7. Sam Hagon
  7. A rough guide started at 630 in the morning laying in bed, remember it's a guide so no "he would never go there" etc. But it shows if a dozen riders an be enticed back it can work if not it will just be slightly weaker with riders like Barker, Heeps etc. coming in Belle Vue Bewley, Etheridge, Wright, R. Worral, Tungate. Ipswich Doyle, Allen, Klindt, Hansen, King. Kings Lynn Lawson, Kerr, Palm-Toft, Andersen, Jorgensen. Wolves Masters, Becker, Thorsell, Batchelor, Douglas. Sheffield J. Holder, Howarth, Riss, Pickering, C. Holder. Peterborough Iversen, Nicholls, Harris, Andersen, Bjerre. Poole Ellis, Covatti, S. Worrall, Crump, Kurtz. Glasgow Cook, Ostegaard, Nicol, Musielak, R. Jensen.
  8. Is there a link to any of these, fancy a good read/listen
  9. Apologies I didnt realise Speedway riders don't move from club to club
  10. There are enough riders either currently available or those that may come back to run an 8 side premiership with two rising stars at reserve. Glasgow for example could run a top 5 of Cook, Nicol, Rasmus Jensen, Musielak, Sam Jensen plus 2 x Rising Stars, that team would be competitive Poole could come back up with Ellis, Basso, S. Worrall, Covatti, Kurtz, Hume & Shanes again quite competitive Doyle would be affordable to Witches the offer made to Crump was quite a lucrative one!
  11. Well he only took on Sweden due to Swindon closing, so he was willing to give up Sweden for the UK, whether that is the case now....
  12. And if King is signed Klindt wont be no.1 if signed for 2022 haha unless king gets a reduction My only gripe on the Louis interview is he doesnt know the team building rules, pretty sure most promotions know roughly what's going on but then they wont let fans know til last If Klindt is in hope Mads Hansen King probably a shoe in Maybe an Ellis/Allen combo could fit depending on the regs, or Crump with Covatti? 1. Ellis 2. Allen 3. Klindt 4. Hansen 5. King Or 1. King 2. Covatti 3. Crump 4. Hansen 5. Klindt Probably end up with 1. Doyle 2. Heeps 3. Crump 4. Allen 5. King Obviously pure speculations coz we dont know
  13. Possibly but cant really see two clubs coming up to make 8, plymouth were rumoured to be wanting to move up tho
  14. Well you have Plymouth and Lynn who have already announced Lawson so one would assume that the PL and CL will go ahead in some way, will the NL survive? If not the CL will be weaker so are Plymouth wasting alot of points on Lawson The promoters know what's going on, not sure why we have to wait til November/December to be told, should just be one plan drawn up and kept to for 5 years Oxford look like they'll be in the CL I think the PL is looking like a 6 team league again, why would anyone else move up
  15. 1. King 2. Covatti/Starke/Heeps/Allen 3. Klindt 4. Hansen 5. Ellis 6. Rowe R/S 7. Kemp R/S
  16. Doubt they would announce two 2022 riders if they were not running Buster isn't completely stupid, he will have to keep his assets running to be able to sell, he could still have them for years to come as yet as long as they dont lose him £££ I'm sure he has offset the stars in the past with money made from stock cars
  17. Palm-Toft, Lawson with one from Bjerre, Iversen, Doyle or Thorsell. Jorgensen and Kerr at 2 & 4 If it is 2 rising stars Mountain and that young lad you signed up earlier this season (he hasn't made any appearances yet but his name escapes me) If you compare that side to a potential witches side King, Klindt, Cook Crump, Hansen (Starke) Rowe, Kemp
  18. I've not heard about fixed race nights but I would presume if teams are being pulled up to what is now the prem then it will be fixed nights and only one side wants to do it which is rumoured to be Plymouth or Kent! I think Plymouth average 700-1000 not sure what Kent get If clubs are pulled down I presume that they will want control over which race night they prefer Sweden is primarily Tuesday with Denmark Wednesday, do any current Championship clubs run on these days with any Danes or Swedes?
  19. i'm hearing there are a few promotors who are trying to pull teams into the Premier League under this seasons regulations but with two rising stars at reserve but I'm hearing in the other ear that none of the Championship clubs apart from one are interested in moving up, they are keen to bring the 6 prem teams down into a "new top division" obviously paying Championship money or finding "value" between Prem/Champ pay again with two rising stars at 6 & 7 with a few clubs looking to move down into a "new national league" I guess if it happens the losers will be the riders who can score well in both current Divisions, as they earn to cover costs, maybe some riders not doubling up/down who perhaps don't score big across two divisions will have less maintenance costs throughout the season. It will be interesting how it develops, I have no clue on the financials of most sides but hope each club does what is best financially viable, perhaps clubs like Birmingham, Newcastle, Eastbourne would financially survive at NL level but then that leaves 9 remaining championship clubs and 6 prem clubs, I think realistically you can only get 10 sides into any new top division Oxford seem like they are coming back racing on Friday nights, would they step into NL first and run with Mildenhall, Eastbourne, Brum, Newcastle, plus another 5 from the current prem/championship that way you get 2 leagues of 10 sides, but who would drop down to the NL unless they are financially struggling Glasgow won't drop down so you would expect Edinburgh wouldn't want to lose out on the derby matches, I believe it is only Kent or Plymouth interested in moving into the prem It is a mind field to sort out, seems some egos dont want to see themselves run in the NL
  20. I think you'll find that Poole will be in the top tier of British Speedway next season if what I hear is true, however as with anyone at the BSPA there is always 25% or more of promotors digging their heels in
  21. I like drew but feel he would become better having a home track where he scores more, and only visit Foxhall a few times per season, think he would benefit massively
  22. Wish the traffic did that to me in felixstowe on Thursday then I could of got to Foxhall
