  1. Only Emil knows for sure right now of his intentions, and intentions can change, i was talking to someone connected to polish speedway, a journalist, and the belief is that if Emil doesn't gain other commitments such as a GP wildcard or Challenge or European series then he will pick Ipswich over Sweden, his current Polish club won't stop him. Based on a lot of conversations with the same person they seem to be "on the level" so though nobody can guarantee anything in life, i think on the whole it looks promising I can't see Emil getting a wild card into the GP series, maybe a slight chance a route may reopen to go via the GP challenge but apart from one injury riding for Ipswich has worked out well for him, and based on his comeback from injury etc i think if his polish side has tried to protect him then they've done the right thing. Wouldn't bet my whole house on it, but I'd bet a couple of rooms at least that Emil and Jason will be in witches kevlars
  2. He/She/Them/It/Venus Fly Trap Apologies for assuming he and general gender status But 100% it should be if X club wants Jenkins they get Jenkins but its never worked that way, clubs will get the rising star they want so Jenkins as an example will go where he wants to a degree if that club has a spot.
  3. What he's responded with is tripe, yes technically rising stars are picked in reverse order but they all agree who gets what rising star after all clubs have spoken with riders and chosen who they want and more importantly who the rider wants to ride for No rising star ends up where he doesn't want to be, unless of course the club he really wants has chosen someone else
  4. No need for Tobi for '25 as Emil will be in the side
  5. Doesn't need British Speedway, the sport in the country should be able to support itself not rely on riders. He'll be back in British Speedway at some stage when he needs it, usually when he may be on the decline in GPs or in Poland
  6. I've not been this season...yet Oh wait ref knocked ipswich out of the play offs, so looks like I've only done the Warsaw GP this season
  7. No replying to your points specifically but for Speedway to have a major reset without the star names, you would need to lose some teams as not enough riders to go around to make the sport actually credible.
  8. Can't really use Doyle as an example, as he'll earn a fortune in Poland and doing the UK in a sense, helps to reduce his Polish costs while keeping on a bike regularly Think people need to work out how to make the sport affordable and a worthwhile sport to participate in for the likes of Lawson, Harris, Thompsons, Rowe etc.
  9. Not commented on this thread as of yet but felt the referee got the Rew taking Brennan off wrong Fricke lifting with all 4 back was correct but made to look incorrect based on the Rew decision Fans moan the referee is inconsistent but once the first call is wrong, to gain consistency everything should be wrong, right? Some ipswich fans evening claiming the referee robbed them of a 5-0 in heat 13? Madness Take the referee out of the equation and ipswich had ample opportunity to get to the final without any referee assistance Leicester were also unlucky with a rider packing up on the start line Suck it up and move on, its not life or death
  10. That's madness then I'd imagine a top 5 level rider who have a long standing GP career being an 8 but Huckenbeck tho doing well to be in the GPs should never be near an 8 from an assessment point of view
  11. Yeah so he wanted to do the UK so is a potential signing for someone next season if a deal can be agreed
  12. Probably will 😬 will be more of a mess next season than ever before
  13. Could just swap him out for Kurtz in that case
  14. Brennan likely at Ipswich and Lampart may miss the UK next year but hopefully he's in as he's done alright this year
  15. 1. Cook 2. Bailey 3. Vuolas 4. Flint 5. Zischke 6. Bowes 7. Mcdiarmid
  16. 1. Batchelor 2. Newman 3. Barker 4. Etheridge 5. D. Thompson 6. M. Andersen 7. J. Hook
  17. Thorsell wanted the UK this year, and a lot of riders past their best come back to ride in the UK and still perform. Also for someone past their past averages more in Poland than Pickering, Klindt and Brennan? Hellstrom-Bangs said 2 seasons ago he is keen to ride in the UK but at the time wanted to concentrate on Poland so not as much of a pipe dream as one may think If Brum make the Freddie deal his influence within the Swedish camp may spring a surprise
  18. Yeah i do, i don't feel there are enough riders of equal ability for it to continue and to be fair, since it started there has always been a couple better than the rest. Even with no RS i dont think the points total for team building will increase significantly to not then use a rider who may average what a RS has but at least its an open choice for the clubs
  19. Ipswich Doyle, Blodorn, King, Ellis, Brennan, Rew, Thompson. Kings Lynn Lawson, Iversen, kvech, Huckenbeck, Klindt, Sorensen, Rowe. Birmingham Lindgren, Z. 20. Believe Tolley can compete with Brum next season now they can start building earlier, based on the rising star position going 1. Lindgren 2. Z. Cook 3. Thorsell 4. Harris 5. Tungate 6. Hellstrom-Bangs 7. Pearson
  21. 1. Lawson 2. Iversen 3. Kvech 4. Huckenbeck 5. Klindt 6. Sorensen 7. Rowe
  22. 1. Doyle 2. Blodorn 3. King 4. Ellis 5. Brennan 6. Rew 7. D. Thompson Personally think rising star slot will go next season
  23. Oxford 1. Woffinden 2. Riss 3. Janowksi 4. Cook 5. Musielak 6. Boughen 7. Killeen
  24. Never gonna happen but if no Emil you could go 1. Doyle 2. Rew 3. Brennan 4. Ellis 5. Lindgren 6. D. Thompson +1 I doubt there will be a rising star position in the prem next season anyway
