2022 Regulations - New Super Heat after Draw!!
Falcon1983 replied to Roger Jacobs's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I'm not totally against the idea of a 4-3-2-0 point scoring format to see team riding attempted However I would keep that to one competition only say the League Cup only and leave the league as it is and enable draws leave this super heat b***ocks out -
Rohan doesn't want to ride in the UK
-
I'm not a fan of any club, I stopped going to Speedway in 1992 when I was 9, I think I've only just got back into it the last 10 years mainly GP's I go to Foxhall often most home meetings last year but only going to manage a few this year I would imagine Hope brum if anything put an exciting team of riders who battle if anything
-
I wont go out of business, not a brum fan lol
-
well maybe instead of going with the riders nobody else wants, its probably worth taking a risk on assessed averages Ashley MorrisJames ShanesJosh AutyStefan Nielsen i'd rather see Matthew Gilmore, Keynan Rew and someone like Lukas Baumann get the last 3 slots as you might unearth a gem
-
So it's two riders above Blodorns average and below Wrights with one expected to become third heat leader... If I were a BV fan I'd be excited if one was Mr Bangs or a Mads Hansen type exciting young world level rider I know both have ruled out the UK but money talks both would light up the premiership I'm surprised Lemon didnt go for Keynan Rew as well rumoured he is signing for Brum
-
Let's be realistic how many riders would consider the UK regardless of dropping restrictions, not many that's for sure! Ok so Pedersen and Vaculik have committed before and what's happened has happened but you're not suddenly going to get all the GP riders back The board of directors should feel ashamed of themselves

Frick Allen Bjerre Wright Kurtz Blodorn Brennan Makes the play offs for me, on par with the other sides apart from Sheffield
-
It's been going on for years
-
Witches have the best no.1 and the best rising star in the league, people talk about Brennan but before his injury Rowe was touching an average above 5 riding in the main body of the team or at 6, I believe his average in both leagues would have improved if not for injury King at no.5 is up there domestically with any other 5 on his day and his day comes quite often he only seems to have the odd off night Much depends on Batch, Riss I would say Heeps and Starke will both struggle riding at 2 or 4, or 3/5 as you cant rule out what young Richard will do with the riding order Both Heeps and Starke however should score well at reserve so one counter balances the other They just need to identify through the season who is better at reserve and ensure that rider is there come the play offs
-
doubt Eurosport cameras will zoom in on a bit of old rope, guess it depends how the track is prepared for that said meeting....
-
All jokes aside I feel for BV fans, the longer this goes on the more disappointing it will be, I think most BV fans have posted they are strict on budget so it's not like they are going to throw money at the problem so they are waiting for a rider to lose out elsewhere first Tungate doesnt want to ride in the UK, realistically you then look ar those who have in the past Iversen, Zagar, Smolinksi, Bjerre rule out the rest and the last rider will be someone who is already in the championship
-
I'm not a bad person and I understand this can mean alot to people So BV will announce Guest and Rider Replacement on Monday as the last two signings
-
Both riders are signed and sealed for the last two spots, I've gone through many pages on this thread and absolutely nobody has guessed correctly

Premiership Pairs 2022
Falcon1983 replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Would be interesting if they stipulated every rider must feature twice with the rising star a track reserve to be used at any time So 6 riders in a team 6 rounds, Ipswich may go for @ home King & Riss @ wolves Heeps & Batchelor @ kings lynn Starke & Doyle @Peterborough Riss & Heeps @belle vue Batchelor & Starke @sheffield King & Doyle For me anyway would make it more interesting each rider doing 2 rounds -
Only if someone at BV got 5+2 Friday or all 6 last night
-
Michael Haertel Nico Covatti Norick Blodorn or Keynan Rew
-
I dont want to take a massive dump on the belle Vue bonfire but surely most the names on the first list would have made themselves available and signed to ride now so they could arrange mechanics, sponsors etc. Of course unless something breaks that is in place elsewhere? The bottom list I can see potentially any 2 completing the team but it will be way under but it's all about what a rider scores this year not last year

2022 championship predictions
Falcon1983 replied to Jaizer's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
1. Poole 2. Leicester 3. Plymouth 4. Glasgow 5. Oxford 6. Redcar 7. Scunthorpe 8. Berwick 9. Edinburgh 10. Birmingham 11. Newcastle -
Well Blodorn has a UK ride so he's probably riding at 6 with maybe Etheridge/Allen at 2 & 4
-
I just think having a team of young guns on accessed 5 averages could be quite exciting, as I said not sure what averages riders had Covatti/Auty to lead as a 1&2 But I'm sure riders like McGuinness/ Rew / Pearson / Gilmore / Blodorn would be keen to race in the UK What are riders like Huckenbeck / Haertel / Wolbert etc. Like it's been said this is a different promotion to the one before
