Ipswich v Lynn 28/4 LC
Falcon1983 replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I agree but the 1-5 is too weak Great to see Danyon get a chance although Starke would/could score more Shame that Danyon couldn't replace Rowe and they got another guest in place at 6 but and here is where it confuses me It's a meaningless fixture The riders must show their worth Witches cannot lose at home to the Stars so no.2 is right the riders must get going sooner rather than later and even though its in a no.1 meaningless fixture - its a must win meeting - as said by Richie I think they might as well say "its a fixture that doesn't mean anything if we win, so it really doesn't matter if we win or not but its a must win because its a win against Kings Lynn but if we do win it doesn't matter anyway because we don;t progress in the cup but we must win" -

I think I am going but only because my daughter wants to go... otherwise I would of saved £20.00 stayed at home and watched the West Ham match Witches will be on 34 points after Heat 14 straight after Kerr & Worral bang in a 1-5 Batch we know is hot and cold he only scored 6 last night, for Swindon he rode well with Doyle I 1000000000000000000000000000000% disagree with Riss at No.2 and Heeps at No.3 if they are going to do something like that put Batch at No.2 and then Riss at No.3 Heeps at No.4 Wonder if Starke was fit they would have been tempted to put Starke at No.4 and put Danyon in at no.6 - is that even allowed? Heading into the league action, I think perhaps one or two riders should be nervous if they don't show improvement, Heeps could score 3 or 4 points tonight but as long as he is on the back wheel of the guys ahead of him and showing improvement, I would say that is fine but would still think overall this team is not strong enough as a Septet If its a complete thrashing then I think the manager also needs to think about his own future but I understand that won't even be discussed -
Yes if nobody else move quickly to make changes

So Klindt is 7.43 so if money wasn't an issue and they could talk Hansen to come over.... So you could go 1. Jason Doyle 8.96 2. Troy Batchelor 5.67 3. Nicolai Klindt 7.43 4. Eric Riss 5.08 5. Danny King 7.76 6. Mads Hansen 4.00 7. Anders Rowe/Danyon Hume

There is no conspiracy You cannot do any transfers until 25% of league meetings is completed But that rule cannot be applied until the competition has started, so before the competition starts you can make any changes Rules are rules but the overriding rule is "in the best interests of British Speedway" and in a 6 team league upsetting one or two is not worth rule enforcement when they threaten to drop down to the championship the following season...
-
Does Klindt for Heeps actually fit? No transfers allowed until 25% of fixtures have been raced, but you can change your team before the league racing starts as its a separate competition to that of the league cup

King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 25/4/22
Falcon1983 replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hawkins saying it's a dead meeting but it's an opportunity for the riders to improve etc then in the same preview says it's a must win as its Kings Lynn -
It's a done deal just trying to fish for a Aces fan to respond about losing him
-
However the short term deal was announced Belle Vue will go into the league having made a change But I'm sure if others want to make a change it will happen as all 6 clubs need to keep each other sweet
-
Would be funny if Lynn somehow managed to get Zagar and leave Belle Vue in the shizzle
-
yeah 10 days at least depending on the site reporting as apparently he has potentially broken a fair few bones as well
-
Absolutely but they have not declared him in their 1-7 at the start of the season - all they have done is announced Jake on a short-term deal So if they are allowed to bring in Zagar for the start of the league season, then other teams should be allowed to make team changes before the start of the league campaign If not, then Belle Vue should be completing the first 25% of fixtures with the current lineup and only bring in Zagar after 5 league meetings have been raced.
-
i would believe that team changes are allowed before the league season starts then there is a window between 25% fixtures and 75% of fixtures completed Look at Belle Vue and the side they have declared for the league cup, whether or not they are using the term short term contract for Jake, they have a rider coming in to start the league campaign They have not declared Zagar in the side and using Jake as a guest, so changes must be allowable before league racing starts as there are no contracts in British Speedway right? any rider can get the chop at any time

When I used to be a promoter we would have an ambulance, medics with an ambulance 'car' plus a cuts man
-
Maybe Pawlicki might but doubt any of the others would ride in the UK and even saying Pawlicki might he will cost a small fortune
-
Nico Covatti (and before someone says he has said NO to the UK) he is still racing this year and if a PL contract was offered you can be sure he would get a CL spot also Failing that would Woffy fit and only do home meetings and BV away?

I'm confident Jake's season is about to get started this week and we'll see an upwards curve starting -
Stars v Panthers Thurs 21/04/2022
Falcon1983 replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
50-40 Stars if Panthers are running with R/R -
That's the future of UK speedway sorted then, the rest drop down to save 30% and then half a dozen or more drop down to make the national league like the old British and National league days
-
Nicely put together that, lets hope the next couple of meetings are more promising....
