  1. I dont think Sheffield fans have anything to worry about, you will easily make the play offs and with Jake replacing Stefan you look even stronger than before and on paper had the superior team. Come play off time your top riders will turn it on for the occasion and you'll win silverware
  2. Based on that promoters should do what football did during covid and have cardboard fans in all seats Not sure if for TV if Belle Vue shut the back straight and made fans all go in the grandstand? Not sure where they situate disabled supporters tho
  3. It was only a few seasons ago riders could ride UK, Poland, Sweden & Denmark and looks like it's going to change next year Klindt for Ulrich changes the whole dynamic of the Panthers for me
  4. Discovery want to buy into British Speedway as they want to do in other national leagues
  5. I've read the paramedics have been redirected to an accident last minute so others lives should take priority over a speedway meeting but would any other sport be delayed because of it Lots of things happening again this season and some things worse than others that really need to be addressed
  6. Nothing like Speedway to sh!t on its paying public and find delays acceptable, there really is no other sport like this Nothing against Scunthrope directly but the sport as a whole, but then I feel I say the same thing year on year, it needs a major shake up
  7. Nicolai didn't want too much, the issue is what they are paying other riders
  8. can't see this on the updates site, can anyone post a link?
  9. I think what is fair is that whoever is performing in the race jacket should keep it as such Based on Danyons last meeting then I would keep him in the side The only time I would change it back would be if he loses form, or perhaps they are at a track where traditionally Anders goes better I think Anders is the better long term prospect though
  10. Anders is a strange one, still young so benefit of the doubt, he didn't opt in for the rising star berth last season and there was no doubt he starting superbly, then that Injury at Kings Lynn put him back, believe it was a knee but it was said in the off season he was coming back this season fit, so thinking the recovery period has passed you would probably expect him to be one of the better rising star riders based on what he achieved when fit at the start of last season Seems to have lost his way a little bit, I think really for him to reach a top level someone needs to be really aggressive with him and change this rigid riding style, I think at times its a hinderance, but saying that its the same style that got him banging in points at the start of last season Really hope he can turn his fortunes around
  11. At home I think Ritchie needs to go 1. Doyle 2. Barker 3. Batchelor 4. King 5. Riss 6. Starke 7. Hume/Rowe Away from Home 1. Doyle 2. Batchelor 3. King 4. Barker 5. Riss 6. Starke 7. Hume/Rowe Would swap Riss/King at home if King rediscovers some form But it is Sheffield and they have a very good top 5 and even when Musielak was having a poor meeting he still gated to win H14 when it mattered.
  12. I certainly think the premiership should be weakened to an extent where riders at 6 & 7 are British U24 riders or with minimal experience, Championship should see their reserves being current NL heat leaders, championship 2nd string current championship reserves and their heat leaders current 2nd strings then maybe one rider who is a current heat leader in the top flight For me that sounds like a ladder from bottom to top, sounds more affordable too with the right riders getting the right track time I'd also love to see the British championship extended to at least 5/7 rounds all held on weekends and do what discovery is doing now British GP championship British GP2 Championship British GP3 Championship All run on the same day, same venue, one ticket price and make it more of an "event"
  13. The BSPL wont cease their control over the sport in the UK and they will always seek to look after their own interests first. The fact they have allegedly turned away interest from Discovery to take over the sport in this country shows so watch in the future Sweden, Denmark, Poland etc pull away even further when a multi billion dollar company invest in those leagues from top to bottom
  14. I had 48-42 witches but not gonna lie any meeting I attend I am secretly hoping to see a super heat
  15. League speedway in prem exclusively with Eurosport only they cant stream any meetings and spectators cant stream on any sites either
  16. Well for one I was happy to see Zagar in action at Foxhall last night regardless of how anyone interprets the rules
  17. Would possibly be another 3 point swing with having Riss at 5 and Batch or Barker at 2 Not fussed with Danny at 3 if Riss is at 5, but I just don't understand it
