As nobody has started yet, I hear from what I hear not always a reliable source of info but potentially 42.5 point limit with no rising star So, I will start with what I would like to see as a 1-7 1. Jason Doyle 2. Frederik Jakobsen 3. Rohan Tungate 4. Erik Riss 5. Danny King 6. Paul Starke 7. Danyon Hume Most likely no chance of Jakobsen but he was class at Foxhall this season A likely scenario would see Jakobsen/Tungate swapped for Batch & well if the Brits still get a reduction or any further average manipulation maybe you could get Batch in with Tungate or someone like Morris Just off the top of my head who has impressed me visiting Foxhall this season who would be good additions Jakobsen, Basso, & Becker stand out, would be interesting to fit in Klindt who is due a season at Foxhall after the Covid debacle, Klindt with Doyle would probably leave too long a tail

How many clubs actually own the land their track and stadium is built on?
-
Alot these sports you mention are structured and are not reliant on other championships etc. Most of not all have a full years calendar which they stick to and some sports mentioned dont suffer with the elements Speedway may attract more riders by offering less meetings which is one of the issues the top riders state
-
Not sure this would be a demise Speedway is no longer like the 70s/80s etc there are more things to do now than back in the day Every week there is something to distract you from speedway, having less speedway could be a good thing as it may then be appreciated more by fans when its offered For me speedway every week for say 5 or 6 months would be an overkill as there are other things i like to do, if there were fewer meetings id attend then do my other interests as there would be more freedom to do them

I would say its more down to the polish rules being relaxed than anything Speedway is a short career, UK is maybe easy money if you look at the standard Think a few could be enticed back but there would need to be changes to the calendar to make it happen, still too many meetings in the UK for top riders to want to committ

So if its play offs now what is the date for the sheffield vs ipswich league fixture?
-
This is what happens when every rider wants to reduce his average
-
Its a difficult one, with nothing concrete for 2024, would a rider choose Peterborough for one season over another club who have a more secure future? Obviously averages fit so riders will be available but feel on a first choice basis it won't be Peterborough unless sentiment plays a role I'd go with a side such as 1. Harris 2. Ostegaard 3. Lawson 4. Basso 5. Iversen 6. Allen 7. Jenkins

I sit in line with the start gate and some fans do tend to make a 3 course meal out of things. I think Lynn had possibly two infringments one was called back if i remember correctly, doyle maybe had one but i put it down to him being superior out of the gate, a fraction of a second delay from others can make it look like a jump start when its not If false starts are what some want to cling on to then you're due an almighty fall -

Tungates intelligence swung that meeting big time -
If Summers & Covatti fit if two riders do have to be replaced that would still be a very solid side. I can't see Holder coming in as he would still want good money and the Witches are built to a specific Budget where Doyley gets the biggest chunk.
-
Can't see Pboro doing any changes, literally lowering their averages so they can sign 6 of them again next season plus a big hitter
-
Isnt Riss having surgery today so we will find out more soon.. What average does Summers come in on, anyone know?
-
Depends how bad a break it is firstly, and although if riding he could wear a protective boot its a what if he crashes again etc. If its not a bad break then with some form of laser treatment or oxygen therapy he could be back sooner if its a bad break cant see him back for 3 to 6 months Not many options left in the UK not sure if Thomson, Summers or Knudsen fit so for the time being surely its worth exploring a 28 day deal with someone like Mads Hansen or Hellstrom Bangs maybe?

If RR is in operation for Starke then a witches win by 8-10 is possible if not then it could be a narrow win or loss -
Yeah it is, he has a bad one at Poole somewhere between 1988-1992 where he hit the 1st bend fence head on and went straight over and hit the dog track, he clipped someone's back wheels entering turn 1, I need to find it on DVD really
-
Sometimes the most horrific looking crashes are when they somehow escape with minor injuries, I remember dad once going head first over the Poole fence (no air fences back then) head first into the dog track

Basso has cracked ribs so done amazingly well to complete 7 rides and score as he did
