  1. An idea only But could see maybe Guy sponsoring a Tru7 Series, maybe 2nd half meetings 4 riders, 4 races, they go into a league table then the top 4 have a grand final at the end of the season So say 12 home league matches 16 selected riders 12 rounds 3 participation rounds per rider Grand Final maybe part of Doyles end of season testimonial
  2. Pretty sure Rew is at Belle Vue and Brennan at Ipswich purely due to Rew riding a Thursday night polish track. Will find out tomorrow
  3. Probably right but sometimes its about blowing smoke up fans bottoms, to make it looked like they tried Won't know until the announcements whethers its no GP rider at all or in addition to Lindgren, just hope for the league Lindgren is in as he's done it before for several seasons
  4. Well hopefully for the league Lindgren was one who said yes but no "new" GP riders 1. Lindgren 2. Z. Cook 3. Thorsell 4. Zagar/Worrall 5. Douglas 6. Lampart 7. Edwards
  5. I'd imagine either their parent club i.e. a loan fee agreement or possibly the riders polish club
  6. Pie in the Sky stuff but someone with alot of money needs to build a stadium somehow incorporate a smaller track inside a larger one Let Wolves, Brum and Cradley share it with Wolves running on the smaller track, 3 different race nights, same owner running all 3 sides Win win win
  7. Certainly has but isnt his average 7+? 1. Doyle 9.36 2. King 6.14 3. Brennan 6.52 4. Ellis 5.46 5. Sayfutdinov 9.12 6. Thompson 3.10 7. Boughen
  8. 1. J. Holder 8.85 2. A. Vuolas 4.13 3. C. Holder 8.79 4. K. Rew 5.67 5. T. Woffinden 8.45 6. A. Rowe 3.90 7. A. Boughen
  9. Yeah its most likely its Ipswich or Sweden, i believe Ipswich will win that battle, so time to start putting together some possible sides including him
  10. Only Emil knows for sure right now of his intentions, and intentions can change, i was talking to someone connected to polish speedway, a journalist, and the belief is that if Emil doesn't gain other commitments such as a GP wildcard or Challenge or European series then he will pick Ipswich over Sweden, his current Polish club won't stop him. Based on a lot of conversations with the same person they seem to be "on the level" so though nobody can guarantee anything in life, i think on the whole it looks promising I can't see Emil getting a wild card into the GP series, maybe a slight chance a route may reopen to go via the GP challenge but apart from one injury riding for Ipswich has worked out well for him, and based on his comeback from injury etc i think if his polish side has tried to protect him then they've done the right thing. Wouldn't bet my whole house on it, but I'd bet a couple of rooms at least that Emil and Jason will be in witches kevlars
  11. He/She/Them/It/Venus Fly Trap Apologies for assuming he and general gender status But 100% it should be if X club wants Jenkins they get Jenkins but its never worked that way, clubs will get the rising star they want so Jenkins as an example will go where he wants to a degree if that club has a spot.
  12. What he's responded with is tripe, yes technically rising stars are picked in reverse order but they all agree who gets what rising star after all clubs have spoken with riders and chosen who they want and more importantly who the rider wants to ride for No rising star ends up where he doesn't want to be, unless of course the club he really wants has chosen someone else
  13. No need for Tobi for '25 as Emil will be in the side
  14. Doesn't need British Speedway, the sport in the country should be able to support itself not rely on riders. He'll be back in British Speedway at some stage when he needs it, usually when he may be on the decline in GPs or in Poland
  15. I've not been this season...yet Oh wait ref knocked ipswich out of the play offs, so looks like I've only done the Warsaw GP this season
  16. No replying to your points specifically but for Speedway to have a major reset without the star names, you would need to lose some teams as not enough riders to go around to make the sport actually credible.
  17. Can't really use Doyle as an example, as he'll earn a fortune in Poland and doing the UK in a sense, helps to reduce his Polish costs while keeping on a bike regularly Think people need to work out how to make the sport affordable and a worthwhile sport to participate in for the likes of Lawson, Harris, Thompsons, Rowe etc.
  18. Not commented on this thread as of yet but felt the referee got the Rew taking Brennan off wrong Fricke lifting with all 4 back was correct but made to look incorrect based on the Rew decision Fans moan the referee is inconsistent but once the first call is wrong, to gain consistency everything should be wrong, right? Some ipswich fans evening claiming the referee robbed them of a 5-0 in heat 13? Madness Take the referee out of the equation and ipswich had ample opportunity to get to the final without any referee assistance Leicester were also unlucky with a rider packing up on the start line Suck it up and move on, its not life or death
  19. That's madness then I'd imagine a top 5 level rider who have a long standing GP career being an 8 but Huckenbeck tho doing well to be in the GPs should never be near an 8 from an assessment point of view
  20. Yeah so he wanted to do the UK so is a potential signing for someone next season if a deal can be agreed
  21. Probably will 😬 will be more of a mess next season than ever before
  22. Could just swap him out for Kurtz in that case
  23. Brennan likely at Ipswich and Lampart may miss the UK next year but hopefully he's in as he's done alright this year
