Cant see Schlein fitting in anywhere in the prem unless a team gets desperate finding riders just purely on his average
-
Lindgren Allen Holder Basso Iversen Cook Jenkins
-
the fact Riss was brought back in for Tungate, that to me suggests he is in He is capable but I guess thats been the same excuse said about others they are capable but fail to deliver
-
I can understand King/Batch Siggy, you not a Riss fan? I know he is a bit hot/cold but thought he done alright last season but then maybe a 6.00 average is too high?
-
Not an awful team at home as you say but not many BP's won there and would definitely lose over two legs Take away the bog standard pool of riders I hope they are looking at some riders on decent averages Chris Holder, Przemyslaw Pawlicki, Jaimon Lidsey, Szymon Wozniak etc. then riders like Kevin Juhl Pedersen, Francis Gusts, Timi Salonen, Hellstrom-Bangs, Grahn etc. A couple of 4 pointers riding at 2 & 6 and you could get a half-decent looking side together, or just by having one rider at 6 and going with someone like Lidsey who I doubt will be at BV unless they lose Brennan or Blodorn if and they do Louis should snap either up 1. Doyle 10.32 2. R. Worrall 6.15 3. Riss 6.00 4. Lidsey 5.16 5. Holder 7.16 6. 4.00 7. R/S Issue is I can only see maybe Louis paying for one rider to come from abroad not two
-
so 2023? 1. Bewley 8.91 2. Blodorn 5.45 3. Wright 6.25 4. Brennan 5.71 5. Kurtz 8.24 6. Hellstrom-Bangs 4.00 7. Bailey R/S Bit under the limit 38.56

I've been told that at the AGM its been vetoed that rising star riders get a 25% deduction that was rumoured If they are kept within the club once not being eligible, as only really Belle Vue would benefit as Brennan is a class above, so the other clubs out-voted the Aces to stop them seeking an advantage so the Belle Vue side I have seen on here may need rethinking as Brennan should come in at 5.71
-
Take off Mountain, Hume and Brennan from last years list and then you get the idea of what will make up the rising star list this year Wouldn't mind Jordan Jenkins
-
Sounds like he doesnt meet the criteria now based on age/experience Bailey, jenkins, Thompson, kemp, flint, edwards, thomas, gilkes, mulford, bates hehe etc not sure on any of their ages tho

Zagar has looked quite classy around Foxhall when I have seen him but think we will see this side having spoken to a few people over the weekend 1. Doyle 10.32 2. Riss 6.00 3. King 6.40 4. Cook 4.92 / Kerr 4.59 5. Holder 7.29 6. Hume 3.98 7. Rowe R/S It is a shame that the Witches promotion are not forward thinking as a rider like Frederik Jakobsen at no.2 or 4, replacing Cook/Kerr would have sprinkled a little more hype on this team, the last rider at no.4 is going to make or break such a team, you could have Batch at no.2, Riss at no.4 and have Starke replacing Hume. 1. Doyle 2. Batchelor 3. King 4. Riss 5. Holder 6. Starke 7. Rowe Starke had a poor season last season but do you go with him, allow Doyle/Kings averages to drop then redeclare a bit stronger?

Holder is Ipswich bound funded by Guy

KK is retiring at the end of 23 so much like Bjarne wants to have one final go in the UK so if he knows he is retiring he wiĺl likely score more as he will be relaxed having fun out on track
-
100% agree because the witches i doubt will bring in a young foreign talent or fail to entice a decent rider on a low avg over , hope I'm wrong
-
Klindt is nailed on for Kings Lynn, Richie Worrall probably at Leicester so could go Doyle 10.32 C. Cook 4.92 D King 6.41 Riss 6.00 Ellis 6.72 Barker 4.30

Riders who give up when at the back
Falcon1983 replied to Chris116's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
i've not read all replies but maybe 4-3-2-1 could work if the rider finishing last crosses the line within a fixed time limit after the race winner, stops riders just cruising around at the back for that one point, will make them be under full power -
More than Likely but Louis will need to play the game, just like BV will and all the others sides, surely a conversation with some of these riders at the very least must happen, could Doyle even perhaps convince a rider like Lidsey to come to Witches over Belle Vue? There are a few riders on very good averages whether they will race in the UK or not is another matter, I like the look of the side below apart from one rider 1. Jason Doyle 10.32 2. Lewis Kerr 4.59 3. Danny King 6.40 4. Erik Riss 6.00 5. Brady Kurtz 8.25 6. Paul Starke 3.44 R/S Danyon Hume
-
now with the points limit confirmed 1. Jason Doyle 10.32 2. Troy Batchelor 5.57 3. Erik Riss 6.00 4. Mikkel Michelsen 5.67 5. Danny King 6.40 6. Lewis Kerr 4.59 R/S Danyon Hume

If there is cash to splash Bjerre, Thomson, Iversen, Michelsen, Andersen, King, Jenkins
-
sound proof indoor stadium on its way....
-
Glasgow are making the last ditch move to run in the PL with Basso already secured
-
if they are guaranteed a play off spot before any transfer window closes sign Robert Lambert then due to illness/injury just run R/R for him until the play-offs commence bring him back in - job done
-
I'd probably save a couple of hundred pounds by not going if that was the team But saying that, its probably not far off Doyle, King, Riss & Hume nailed on, I can see why Batch may ride at no.2 with Jason, which then leaves 2.... I genuinely believe that there should be a minimum and maximum average for team building so if its 3.00 as a lowest in the prem and 2.00 the lowest in the champ, then surely 9.00 and 8.00 should be the highest, all you do is penalise riders who have exceptional seasons

Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)
Falcon1983 replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Plus Mountain, D. Thompson, Worral plus one -
Hans at reserve so thats a strong reserve at home Still allows points to bring in someone to back up masters
-
I agree with you but an individual getting £1m is decent, wish British speedway was still getting this level of investment but spent in the right way
