  1. does Hume & Lindgren fit he is 9+ isn't he?
  2. Wolves will struggle and be near the bottom if the reserves dont take to Monmore very well, no point having the best rising star if he cant ride his home track tho that statement is based on last season and improvement can be made If Flint/Cook can get dialled in Wolves could finish as high as 2nd based on the bonus point introduction if the reserves struggle at home they could finish rock bottom depdnding who Peterborough and Ipswich declare in their sides
  3. Out of Hume and Mountain I'd take Hume as even tho he looks reckless its great to watch, he scores quite well at home and seems like a good character who will learn even more from the likes of Doyle
  4. P.s I'm aware scotty isnt riding PL just dreaming
  5. What would have generated big interest would be to convince Scott Nicholls to ride at no.2 and sign a new foreign rider on an 8 or someone like Chris Holder Scott would bring back the old feeling of local riders riding for the club again
  6. The lad at Lynn will finish on a higher average than Basso
  7. Because BSN is a dedicated platform for Speedway, Eurosport covers some of the most popular sports for an International audience with Speedway being one of their lowest popular. Eurosport are contracted to X amount of meetings including play offs so would never be able to show weekly meetings. Reminds me of reading the numerous facebook speedway pages of "is there a meeting on tv this week" "they had one last week" "not being on weekly isnt good enough" "it was better when sky sports had it" when all they are doing is fitting speedway into their schedule and fulfilling the contract as agreed They are not a dedicated speedway platform
  8. It shouldn't be as much of a challenge as people would think, there have been Russian sports people compete in the UK since the outbreak of the war with the Ukraine
  9. I'd be extremely surprised if it has been, don't get me wrong it would be a great signing, incredible even However, if it happens i'd happily do a lap of the stock car circuit in my birthday suit
  10. i'll sign up once they offer Klarna/Paypal pay in 3 quite handy as football training moves to Thursdays so can watch these later that night
  11. No chance of Emil, the majority of the budget is spent on Doyley
  12. Maybe sign up Covatti instead of Worrall for entertainment purposes
  13. Maybe Worrall is the back up if they cant get Emil haha If Rew is ruled out then about how Thomson at Edinburgh read elsewhere he deseeves a shot at the premiership If the final 2 slots were a combo of Worrrall/Andersen/Batch then Louis has a few spare points to get someone in above Rews average
  14. Believe so yeah, looks like Rew has suffered a injury riding in oz too now
  15. If it hasn't happened cant see panthers having Holder if buster is then still the owner
  16. Difference being Nicholls is a sponsor of Ipswich and his company would have specific budgets set for sponsorship, he does alot of charity work and also sponsors other forms of motorsport. As for Tomalin at City Auction Group, if he actually becomes owner of the panthers thats a completely different ball game from just sponsoring, so if the opportunity became available to spend big on a rider then the Panthers look in the driving seat But they'll likely line up as Holder, NKI, Basso, Tungate, Jenkins plus two so not much left points wise for a huge signing and that's a pretty costly side already before adding the final two
  17. Then in that case I'd rather look at different options
  18. I'm purely talking about maybe a no.1, if seems or sounds whoever doesn't get Worrall could end up with Batch, so good bargaining position to be in if you are Richie Worrall... Someone is going to have to fold first on this one, maybe with Peterborough's new owner willing to spend more, they are in the better position to take a risk
  19. possibly not but if you are also going under the limit say you have 8+ left for a number 1 but opt for a rider on a lower average If a higher average rider becomes available such as a Lindgren, Dudek etc. or just to play a long a Artem or Emil....... would there be a budget for that calibre of rider no doubt Basso, Holder, Tungate and whoever else is more or less signed isn't cheap when comparable to other sides but i'm talking about if you hold out to see if a big rider comes available
  20. nothing wrong with that once Ipswich have named their final 2 Could end up with a Swedish club closing down or other issues resulting in some form of rider availability, but there has to be a will to spend by the new owner regardless if any decent level riders do become available at the 11th hour
  21. That will be quite a bit under the limit again wouldn't it? 1. Jason Doyle 10.32 2. Hans Andersen 4.93 3. Erik Riss 6.00 4. Richie Worrall 6.15 (6.31) 5. Danny King 6.41 (6.57) 6. Keynan Rew 4.00 7. Jack Thomas (RS) Ave: 37.81 Remaining: 1.19 Hans scored 11+1, 7+1 on two visits last season and had a retirement each time Richie scored 11, 10+1 from reserve then 8+1 from riding at no.3 I can maybe see the logic of Richie who is reasonably solid, and Hans who rides Foxhall well as the BP is going to be key this season and based on whats just gone there won't be many BP's based on home form but still need King, Riss to be more consistent at home Apart from Batch for Andersen I can't see the team being anything different to that now
  22. i'd rule out any type of big hitter at no.5 it will be King at 5, Tru7 are not going to cover the costs of another rider at Ipswich next season, that would be a significant increase in sponsorship and that is not happening, and Chris Louis will not gamble the future of the club either Even tho people are saying he isn't there at present Batch @2 and Worrall @3/4 is the best option out there unless someone can come up with something else that's realistic to replace Batch
