That's a shame Smolinksi plus one maybe Covatti
-
Bit of a left field view of how they could complete the side, with Covatti and Nick Morris waiting in the wings... 1. Musielek 2. Jeppersen 3. Kasprzak 4. Smolinski 5. Zagar 6. Rew 7. Edwards

If signed for 2026 season Huckenbeck will be an 8.00
-
6 or 7 at home 5 or 6 away Gotta be happy with that sort of return, wouldn't surprise me if Ellis rode at 2 with Doyle tho Ellis maybe at 2 away from home
-
Its not always about building to the limit though, more about getting the riders that you want in your 1-7

British Speedway majorly messed up the involvement of Sky Sports But, other Sports such as cricket has huge financial resources to promote itself, as does football, as does Rugby, tennis etc Speedway doesn't have resources to do so, and feel tweeting to the same audience is marketing
-
Plenty of dull speedway races during a meeting right? At least the facilities at Portman Road are an upgrade on anything Foxhall provides. And I guess the atmosphere is slightly better, if only British Speedway was 1% as successful as premier league football hey
-
Not sure on that statement as you're then only watching half the races lol I get what you mean though £24 to watch Jason and Emil is the attraction but you also have 2 bright prospects to watch develope in Brennan and Dan, the best rising star heading into the season and two other riders who on their day can score big points at Foxhall As a complete side its probably worth more to pay to watch

Last 5 premiership rider predictions…
Falcon1983 replied to SamKM91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
When your two big hitters are crap what do you expect from the rest of the side? Worrall is a steady rider, all teams need those type of riders in their side, capable of the odd big score occasionally -

Oxford Dudek & Vuolas Birmingham S. Worral, Nilsson & Thorsell -
Maybe Gilkes deal with Sheffield fell through as hes decided he doesn't want to be main reserve and would rather sit out the prem or act as an RS option Rumours of signing for Oxford might be for the championship with a view of cover for Killeen That would make more sense and use the 13 odd points for the 2 remaining riders But....

Absolute bollocks Zagar despite being excellent at the NSS once dialled into Perry Bar will score his average at least He's also had good scores and looked a class act at many different tracks when he is in the mood If Adams can get him motivated they have a good rider on their hands for the Premier, better than Pawlicki
-
Funny people saying Zagar is a waste of money, Zagar of a few seasons ago was making good money Last season he was unattached, this season he has a ride in Poland and wants to keep more active He's definitely not on the sort of money he was on previously in the UK and in Poland tho polish money is obviously far superior
-
Think he'd be equal to what Tungate does in the UK
-
Yeah, last summer, demands will be higher when the bidder is more desperate Now its the winter and Dudeks demands are considerably lower now but, still on the high side for UK speedway but other riders are here on similar money
-
Could If, what Oxford can offer is acceptable to Dudek Same for any rider
-
Rumours of his demands are quite wide off the mark, so could well be Dudek at Oxford Dudek, Janowski and Tungate a decent top 3
-
Can you imagine if Tolley announces this 1. Musielek 2. Z. Cook 3. Douglas 4. Morris/Schlein 5. Lindgren 6. Vuolas/Lampart 7. Edwards RS People seem to think Lindgren won't do the UK, yes he's doing Sweden but hes always when possible done 3, and i think his GP efforts were better when riding in the UK Theres still a capacity to put a decent side together if the offers are there Something tells me Tolley will spend his own money if the right opportunities become available
-
Guests generally cover for injured riders Riders dont double up in the same competition which effectively is what may happen
-
Lindgren Worrall/Z. Cook/Sedgman Kolodzje/Zengota/Wozniak Worrall/Zagar Douglas Lampart Edwards
-
6 of those I'd presume would be cup tied until their full time premier team is out of the competition? So to make it less Mickey Mouse you'd have to put a 1-7 together that dont have a current Premiership side which IMO would be impossible But then British Speedway lost all credibility years ago
-
Lol yeah forgot about Oxford, long day at the office Then that would be a qualifying group of 7 clubs, all riding 3 home vs 3 away with the top 4 advancing to the semi finals Or you have One group of 4, one group of 3 with the top 2 going into the semi finals, still work it out that you ride one home one away So say in a group of 4 Oxford, ipswich, kings lynn and brum Ipswich v lynn Brum v Oxford Lynn v brum Oxford v ipswich

Dont mind the idea in principal of Poole getting a wild card as current championship champions etc. However the way the sport works with shared riders makes it difficult to bring any credibility to it So it says they can build to prem standards while maintaining some of its championship riders But if they have some of their championship riders in a prem side already who would then get priority surely that makes them cup tied from riding for Poole? So would Poole then need to build a complete different 1-7 for the prem KO Cup and select that from a pool of riders who dont have a prem club? Some clubs struggle to put a 1-7 together anyway So for me the principal idea is OK but doesnt work Prem KO Cup would have been better to have done 2 groups of 3 Group A Ipswich, Kings Lynn & Brum Group B Sheffield, Belle Vue, Leicester One home and one away meeting I.e. Ipswich vs Kings Lynn Brum vs Ipswich Kings Lynn vs Brum No two legs etc Top 2 in the Groups qualify for seni finals where you revert to normal 2 leg meetings Winner Group A vs Runner Up Group B etc.
