  1. Speedway will be OK once Eurosport disappears because the decision has been made by WDS who operate the promotional rights to the GPs British Speedway is more of a Monday night filler so will be fine, not many major sports that could take its place run on Mondays from 7pm
  2. More people watch the 30 second commercial once than all those who watch speedway as a whole And the average man in the street probably identifies the person endorsing it, would they know Chris Harris?
  3. People writing off Morris like they haven't made mistakes in life, yeah refusing a test or riding under the influence are terrible choices to make, but live and learn and if someone shows improvement in their character let it be Maybe Brum will release Jeppersen too and replace him with Gar....
  4. How long the deal is for is ultimately up to Birmingham Speedway and MJJ, others may want to know but don't have to be told
  5. MJJ rode here years ago and had a good year last so you'd expect he comes back as a muxh improved rider Think Zagar will get a high 6 average almost a 7 MJJ low 7ish
  6. Zagar At Foxhall 12+1 from 5 rides at no.3 11+2 from 6 rides at no.3 5+1 from 4 rides at no.1 At Lynn 12+1 from 6 rides at no.3 At Sheffield 7+1 from 5 rides at no.3 9 from 6 rides at no.3 5+2 from 5 rides at no.3 Some good scores at Foxhall and Lynn not being in the no.1 berth, think he'll get on fine at Leicester & Oxford, knows the NSS If he finds another gear at Sheffield and gets dialled in at home, he'll be a decent no.3 Lidsey, Brennan, Iversen, Douglas, Woffinden and Kildemand/Wright depending what happens at Oxford Would say Zagar at no.3 should be decent, certainly not the worst no.3 in the league by any means MJJ should be coming in on a 7.5 average at be at no.5
  7. Still room for Thorsell on a short term deal then replaced by Nick Morris?
  8. Think he'll come in on a reassessed 7.5 similar to the guys signed last season Be interesting to see who the final rider is, could be in the mix for top 6
  9. Noted, Mr Forum Officer Sir 🫡
  10. Shall i post it on the Poole thread in the Premiership section?
  11. With no poole in the cup Should revert to a group format similar to what they do in the champions league One group of 7 but sides ride one home and one away meeting randomly selected, top 4 go into the semi finals Ipswich vs Kings Lynn Oxford vs Belle Vue Sheffield vs Birmingham Leicester vs Ipswich Kings Lynn vs Oxford Belle Vue vs Sheffield Birmingham vs Leicester reckon it would make it quite interesting as its only 2 matches, so you'd likely stand a chance of progression
  12. That's a shame Smolinksi plus one maybe Covatti
  13. Bit of a left field view of how they could complete the side, with Covatti and Nick Morris waiting in the wings... 1. Musielek 2. Jeppersen 3. Kasprzak 4. Smolinski 5. Zagar 6. Rew 7. Edwards
  14. If signed for 2026 season Huckenbeck will be an 8.00
  15. 6 or 7 at home 5 or 6 away Gotta be happy with that sort of return, wouldn't surprise me if Ellis rode at 2 with Doyle tho Ellis maybe at 2 away from home
  16. Its not always about building to the limit though, more about getting the riders that you want in your 1-7
  17. British Speedway majorly messed up the involvement of Sky Sports But, other Sports such as cricket has huge financial resources to promote itself, as does football, as does Rugby, tennis etc Speedway doesn't have resources to do so, and feel tweeting to the same audience is marketing
  18. Plenty of dull speedway races during a meeting right? At least the facilities at Portman Road are an upgrade on anything Foxhall provides. And I guess the atmosphere is slightly better, if only British Speedway was 1% as successful as premier league football hey
  19. Not sure on that statement as you're then only watching half the races lol I get what you mean though ÂŁ24 to watch Jason and Emil is the attraction but you also have 2 bright prospects to watch develope in Brennan and Dan, the best rising star heading into the season and two other riders who on their day can score big points at Foxhall As a complete side its probably worth more to pay to watch
  20. When your two big hitters are crap what do you expect from the rest of the side? Worrall is a steady rider, all teams need those type of riders in their side, capable of the odd big score occasionally
  21. Oxford Dudek & Vuolas Birmingham S. Worral, Nilsson & Thorsell
  22. Maybe Gilkes deal with Sheffield fell through as hes decided he doesn't want to be main reserve and would rather sit out the prem or act as an RS option Rumours of signing for Oxford might be for the championship with a view of cover for Killeen That would make more sense and use the 13 odd points for the 2 remaining riders But....
  23. 1. Ipswich 2. Belle Vue 3. Leicester 4. Kings Lynn 5. Sheffield 6. Birmingham 7. Oxford Play off winners Ipswich KO Cup Poole
  24. Absolute bollocks Zagar despite being excellent at the NSS once dialled into Perry Bar will score his average at least He's also had good scores and looked a class act at many different tracks when he is in the mood If Adams can get him motivated they have a good rider on their hands for the Premier, better than Pawlicki
