Falcon1983 replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Think a few are getting a bit carried away already.... Brum though not capable of winning the meeting will hit above the 30 threshold, 58-32 I'll go for -

King's Lynn vs Leicester 14/04/25 Premiership R1
Falcon1983 replied to IainB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Ridiculous statements that Lynns season is over if they lose this one, bump in the road maybe, but such a long way to go and as any speedway fan should know injuries or changes in personnel will change things throughout the season -
Ipswich v Oxford Thursday 10th April

MJJ needs a few meetings over here before he's judged imo -
Sheffield v Birmingham 3/4 Premiership R1

First of all best wishes to tai Feel in terms of a replacement then it would be a double change Worrall with Kerr/Allen might be worth a shout -
Belle Vue v Ipswich March 24th KOC
Falcon1983 replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Think Ipswich win both meetings, 48-42 away 58-32 at home -
More people watch the 30 second commercial once than all those who watch speedway as a whole And the average man in the street probably identifies the person endorsing it, would they know Chris Harris?
-
People writing off Morris like they haven't made mistakes in life, yeah refusing a test or riding under the influence are terrible choices to make, but live and learn and if someone shows improvement in their character let it be Maybe Brum will release Jeppersen too and replace him with Gar....
-
How long the deal is for is ultimately up to Birmingham Speedway and MJJ, others may want to know but don't have to be told
-
MJJ rode here years ago and had a good year last so you'd expect he comes back as a muxh improved rider Think Zagar will get a high 6 average almost a 7 MJJ low 7ish
-
Zagar At Foxhall 12+1 from 5 rides at no.3 11+2 from 6 rides at no.3 5+1 from 4 rides at no.1 At Lynn 12+1 from 6 rides at no.3 At Sheffield 7+1 from 5 rides at no.3 9 from 6 rides at no.3 5+2 from 5 rides at no.3 Some good scores at Foxhall and Lynn not being in the no.1 berth, think he'll get on fine at Leicester & Oxford, knows the NSS If he finds another gear at Sheffield and gets dialled in at home, he'll be a decent no.3 Lidsey, Brennan, Iversen, Douglas, Woffinden and Kildemand/Wright depending what happens at Oxford Would say Zagar at no.3 should be decent, certainly not the worst no.3 in the league by any means MJJ should be coming in on a 7.5 average at be at no.5
-
Still room for Thorsell on a short term deal then replaced by Nick Morris?
-
Think he'll come in on a reassessed 7.5 similar to the guys signed last season Be interesting to see who the final rider is, could be in the mix for top 6
-
Noted, Mr Forum Officer Sir 🫡
-
Shall i post it on the Poole thread in the Premiership section?
-
With no poole in the cup Should revert to a group format similar to what they do in the champions league One group of 7 but sides ride one home and one away meeting randomly selected, top 4 go into the semi finals Ipswich vs Kings Lynn Oxford vs Belle Vue Sheffield vs Birmingham Leicester vs Ipswich Kings Lynn vs Oxford Belle Vue vs Sheffield Birmingham vs Leicester reckon it would make it quite interesting as its only 2 matches, so you'd likely stand a chance of progression
-
That's a shame Smolinksi plus one maybe Covatti
-
Bit of a left field view of how they could complete the side, with Covatti and Nick Morris waiting in the wings... 1. Musielek 2. Jeppersen 3. Kasprzak 4. Smolinski 5. Zagar 6. Rew 7. Edwards
-
If signed for 2026 season Huckenbeck will be an 8.00
-
6 or 7 at home 5 or 6 away Gotta be happy with that sort of return, wouldn't surprise me if Ellis rode at 2 with Doyle tho Ellis maybe at 2 away from home
-
Its not always about building to the limit though, more about getting the riders that you want in your 1-7

British Speedway majorly messed up the involvement of Sky Sports But, other Sports such as cricket has huge financial resources to promote itself, as does football, as does Rugby, tennis etc Speedway doesn't have resources to do so, and feel tweeting to the same audience is marketing
