I totally see/understand your point.....but Garrity light up Perry Barr every time he took to the track! He just needs man managing.....Peter Adams style! He could make the National team if he wanted it?! He reminds me a bit like David Norris (ex Eastbourne)

Would love to see Danny Ayres at Brum.....I know he gets on well with the owners. I think Tom Bacon will be back ? Arnio definitely finished the season with a lot of credit, so I'd take him back too. As for team building? I suggest signing a No.1 first and then build a team around him....which is totally the opposite to what we did last year ( but there was legitimate reasons for that...) Ellis/Morris/Shanes/Bacon/Ayres/Arnio/Thomsen I'd love Garrity back but I expect other clubs to be chasing him?

Wouldn't want to re-sign Newman …. definite starters will be Paco/Shanes/Thomsen and Agertoft imo…. I think Morris/Ellis and Arnio would most likely be the other three? If my prediction is correct....then we would be definite favourites for the 'wooden spoon' again! Hope I'm wrong......I probably wouldn't want Thomsen/Agertoft/Paco (the latter faded badly this season and very limited) lacks a bit of bottle to make the step up? imo…..

P.S Doolan only got 2nd place in the T/S race (Heat 6) because Tobias Thomsen's engine seized on the 3rd lap when Brummies were racing away to a 5-1 Heat advantage!

The meeting in question was well below championship standard and hardly anyone was trying ? (Lambert was getting married 3 days later?) May be Gappmaier was putting himself in the shop window and took advantage of the situation? I have to say, I certainly expected far more from him last night though …...he was asleep at the starts and didn't threaten when behind?

He might be the better rider for the cubs......I love Danyon, but he's nowhere near as 'good' as Perks imo…...

Agreed! Although it was a fairly close meeting, we never looked like losing imo…...'Tero' the last heat hero once again! Berwick manager cocked up imo…...using Doolan as a TS in Heat 6 against Ellis was very naïve ? probably cost them in the end!? He wasn't even their best rider, yet they put him in against our best rider ? Moving forward....I think we will have learnt a lot this season and we will also benefit (preparation wise) from knowing what league we will be competing in(2020), much earlier than we did last season!? Have to give the 'Masons' a massive round of applause for the way they've carried us forward as a club...…..they've achieved 'positivity' with one hand tied behind their back imo…...losing someone as influential as Lee Kilby as Commercial Main Man can't have helped either!

I can't imagine he'll be 100% after a back injury? I think it's a gamble especially with it being his first meeting back? (no pun intended) Having said that.....he seems the type to give it everything regardless......if he is fit, I think we'll win this one 48-42!?

A decent meeting spoilt by some top-hat in the control box (Dave Watters Referee) playing god with the start button??? I lost count of the re-runs due to his appetite/desire to be star of the show....'so frustrating, especially on a blustery/rain soaked evening'! These incompetent officials need addressing! I thought it was a fair result, although I'm disappointed that we didn't win it! Imo.....Tero and Tobias got us the draw, coupled with some great team riding from Ellis and Paco lost us the win! (I can only think that Paco is trying to keep his average down for next season?) Tom Perry worked extremely hard for all his points......Agertoft may be another 'average manipulator' ? he was woeful! One other point of interest, which may have cost us a last heat 4-2 ? Why on earth did Ellis/Tero choose gates 1-3 in the final heat ??? Previously....10 of the 14 heat wins/advantages had come from gates 2-4??? also, knowing that gate 4, outside track specialist and unbeaten, Barker was in the heat ??? I honestly for the life of me cant work that one out??? Tero was sensational in the last heat …..and it was arguably the best ride from a B'ham rider that I've witnessed this season !!!

I don't think i'd bother going if we dropped down...the NL does nothing for me !? I've loved our first season in the Championship regardless of our league position!

I'm a bit bored at work, so thought I'd make a comment.... Not sure if Scunthorpe can reach the play-offs ? but it would be an achievement for us if we can avoid the 'wooden spoon' ? Failing that, I can only envisage 2 teams going through the motions and trying to avoid injury through the off season? (may be apart from Garrity and Barker ? ) I'd of definitely added Danny Ayres to that list if he was available.....'big loss' not just from a Scunthorpe perspective, but a general all round 'entertainment' point of view!

errr??? Don't park there next time ? Sorry....just joking. I'm sure somebody will be able to help. I've never parked there and never would! I've always advised 'visitors' to aim for street parking which is free and closer to the track!
