Redcar riders 'especially' Charles Wright are a bunch of whinging whimps! They need to man up! Wright is a posing pu##y! He was the top-hat that caused the delay in the opening meeting.....'grow a pair'! Wright only complained because he was beaten by a B'ham reserve in Heat 1! This was planned imo....especially after the KOC match....probably cost us our status! How can the track be bad, if Kerr clocks one of the fastest time of the season? (Redcar manager forgot to tell him to slow down). I certainly hope Redcar dont win the League.....c'mon 'POOLE'!

I think Redcar will edge it tonight....6-8 points!
-
Dont think it will matter too much now....cant see us making play off's?

We were obviously robbed by a cheating referee { a total disgrace to his profession}_.....but zero points from James Shanes is unacceptable....seems to be playing it safe now that he's a new parent ??? -
Birmingham v Poole. 1st September 2021

Sounds like a very frustrating/boring meeting for all those that attended last night...... Can I just point out that I watched a so called 'mouth-watering' clash in the Prem on Monday night Wolves v Belle Vue and though the track had no issues, the match was as boring as hell.... Leon Flint providing the only real entertainment (buzzing around at the back and not really having the skill to pass)..... (P.s if anything exciting happened after Heat 8, then I stand corrected, as I turned it off at that point....) Not to mention the 'processional' racing at 'Togliatti' in the Grand Prix at the weekend. Speedway as a spectacle is 'dire' right now. -

Plus, Morris and Shanes need to put a shift in......I don't think either of them have hit a double figure score at home all season? -

I'll be very surprised if Thomas scores double figures? The skill will be in the management tactics and knowing when/if to use him? If Schlein/King gate....then I can't see anyone getting near them.....Worral is useful around PB, but not unbeatable and Harris/Riss should get the better of him. -

Poole to win by 12 points. -
Birmingham Brummies 2020

I wouldn't be critical of any B'ham rider this season....the pressures of an on/off campaign.....not knowing from week to week what's happening.....poor track conditions....(not just at home by looks of it....) if there had to be a change then it would obviously be Grobauer, but we all knew that could/would be the case before a wheel was turned.... -
We can only point a finger at the previous state of the track? Great to hear that 'Priesty' is back....it shows a commitment from the management....let's give them credit for trying to get things right !
-
Brennan is a class act around PB.....he's guested for us in the past and beat some big hitters!
-
Unfortunately....but after last week, one can only hope/presume that it's better prepared this week....
-
You might get the pick of 'our' (Bham) riders if we don't get a decent attendance tonight ?
-
Track conditions will decide this one..... Slick and dusty = Berwick Grippy and well prepared = B'ham

Birmingham vs Leicester 11/08/2021
GiveusaB replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Just wondering whether you get more moisture in the atmosphere down in Plymouth....(due to location/coast)....just a thought? -
I did think that ? but I guess it's probably got something to do with the 'Title' of the League? You could say it's a reasonable 2nd Tiered division, but a very poor 1st Tier ? I think its all the more reason to start the debate about having just one bigger League?

Going back to the match....I think it was an error to use Paco in heat 15.....he was never going to win from gate 4, he'd had 6 rides already and he's not great under pressure... I would've expected my Number 1 to step up and do the business from gate 2 and Harris off 4 would've worked the cut back....just my opinion! -

No excuse for a poor surface...we've known about it since the start of the season.....it looks like we've given up already!? If it's a week by week situation (as the 'management' have stated...) it appears that we're not bothering spending time or money on the the most important thing...'the track'! -
P.s I'm pleased for Bjarne...nice guy.....I was very wrong.....I can only remember how poor he was when he 'missed' the gate whilst riding at B'ham....i can't ever remember him passing anyone? He's doing great this season, in two very weak British Leagues....(not his fault, British speedway is dire...)
