No visa for FL? What do you say now Hobbit? ... just bantering with you It could be in Rogers glove compartment ???
-
Quite right...he isn't a no.5...but atm, he's definitely riding like one... its whether he can maintain it!?
-
I say...I will have to go on more holidays! It's not like we haven't been saying this before a wheel was turned? The skill now, will be deciding who he replaces? Lampart or Sedgemen ?
-
A bit rich coming from a 'tool' that believes there's such a thing as a 'proper fan' ? ....
-
One other thing? Milik couldn't have cost the club much from a financial perspective....he scored f-all most meetings...no points-no money (according to Rogers).
-
Geeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzz.....Still playing the victim! Not wanting a team to win, is supporting the opposition IMO! FFS....move on!
-
Sparing Milik's ineptness....(if that's a word?) he was absolute crap! So, cost cutting or not, it made sense to sack him! As for crowds? re: the couple of meetings? one was weather affected (Leicester) match wasn't completed and the other was on TV....would expect these circumstances to have a negative impact... The signing of Sedgemen will cut costs, but it certainly wont increase the crowd levels
-
My point was/is......I wouldn't expect anyone to start supporting (as in the vocal terms) another Club if your preferred Club closed down...but I do find it childish/amusing to attend a different local track and cheer on a different opposing team week in week out! I just don't get the mentality in that !? Each to their own as @grachan' points out!
-
Where ??? if you're going to make accusations....you will need to back that up with proof? I merely suggested a different alternative reason to 'rivalry' in szkocjasid's post ? Show me a post that I've written that says i've called YOU immature? I rest my case your honour!
-
Lewis Kerr would be a useful acquisition at B'ham.....better than Worral/Sedgemen!!
-
In response to a couple of points that you raised (in bold..) if B'ham fold, then they fold...so what ? its life...things come to an end...why worry ? You say I didn't answer, which says a lot ? (in your opinion...) If I didn't respond, then I'd see that as though it says nothing at all ? Then I finally see your word 'victimised'....so, I see now that you want to be seen as a victim? What's the world coming too!? P.s I'm more than happy for you to have the last say....fire away!
-
So are spelling mistakes.... Sorry, couldn't resist ! Had a quick look at your post history and noticed that you like confrontation....you sound quite bitter, I hope you get better soon! You need to loosen up a bit....relax...you will still get to where you're going!
-
Not sure if you're seeking a reaction or a response Have a great day !
-
If the word 'maturity' offends you....may be we could swap the analysis to 'ego-attachment'...if that helps. No offence intended...just different view point and stance position... Wednesday will still be Wednesday and all that!
-
I would say that it depends on their level of maturity? as opposed to rivalry....as we go North of the Border, doesn't that come down to 'life's' biggest problem....'Religion' ? The root of all catastrophe and destruction! As for the definition of the word 'support'? if one attends any meeting, they are therefore 'supporting' (financially) the Club of which they're attending. When B'ham closed in 86...I was more than happy to get my speedway fix at Monmore/Dudley Wood/Brandon (spoilt for choice) and saw some great racing/riders.... As I've got older, I'm more a fan of the sport as opposed to the 'colours'!
-
Not sure they are struggling financially? After all, Tolley said that he could afford Zmarzlik/Lindgren, but they didn't want to ride in the UK ....
-
From where I'm standing, Sam appears to be a 'publicity' signing....with the obvious 'hope' that it would attract a few more Wolves fans to attend? I wouldn't say its the worst thing B'ham have done... Sam can only operate with the 'poor' team selection that he's been given.
-
Six? have we ? I think '2nd string' is a compliment to some of them! Brennan is the only rider performing above expectations atm....Cook has the potential...(won us the meeting v BV in Heat14 ....beating his brother from behind) Flint is hit/miss, but is improving as the season develops and its unfair to be hard on Lampart in his first season....it's a desperate signing and he'd benefit from being in a decent side, with time to settle. Worrall is not doing it .... Sedgemen isnt good enough....Pawlicki will be ok at home, but crap away. B'ham are still 2 HEAT LEADERS away from being competitive!

Ipswich v Birmingham 16th May
GiveusaB replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Is that the wet kind?....sorry Bagpuss...I couldnt resist?! -
You're starting to sound like the not so lovely Lesley on the B'ham Forum! I'd say it's more expressing an opinion, as opposed to moaning...... Just my opinion! I feel for you supporting both B'ham Teams! LOL (just bantering with you....) my late father and my brother are/were Bluenoses! Sounds like you started following B'ham Speedway the same year as me? (1971) First match was April 30th 39-39 v Long Eaton (Challenge...) still got the programme!
-
Seen enough of him over the last 2/3 seasons at PB, to qualify my prediction .... he was crap in the Championship at Home....can't see how he will improve in a much tougher League? It is what it is.
-
Pawlicki was signed as a No.1 ??? he's been crap away from home!
-
Sedgemen will soon need changing, along with Pawliki and Worrall!!! Lampart is hanging on by the skin of his teeth and that's only because he's new over here. Brennan/Cook/Flint are the only 3 that are worth holding on to.
-
He did plenty of pulling up !
-
He wouldn't be missed either! This team is a shambles!
