  1. Brave prediction... I'll go for 36 - 54 in favour of Leicester.
  2. Until the new track beds in, we're going to need our gating gloves on if we're going to win this one. Hoping Auty has managed to sort a decent engine out and I'm looking forward to seeing Pearson......a star in the making!
  3. This thread will soon become 'which club will fold next' prediction.... I guess 'we' (bham) will most likely be favourites.
  4. Ok! I wont mention the weather again I was looking at it from a positive angle though.....Auty getting another week to sort a competitive machine out..... For the record, I looked at the usual reliable Met Office. I think most keen speedway fans look at the forecast first thing on a Monday regardless of whether I/someone else posts their findings. As for the fixture? a poor display at Leicester (making this a dead rubber) will have done more to the attendance record than the weather forecast IMO. I do hope I'm wrong of course
  5. Well, looking at the weather forecast, I think that Josh is going to get another week to sort his equipment out!
  6. Hoping its just the equipment and that he can get it sorted.....early days.
  7. Less said about the Berwick performance the better.... Hoping Auty can get an engine that goes forward in time for Wednesday. Main website states that new-owners are hoping for a big response from fans...well as a fan, I'd like to flip that statement and say that the fans are hoping for a big and far better response from the team/riders!
  8. Auty's interviews on club website have seemed positive, so one can only assume that he's going to give it his all. One ingredient ALL speedway riders have is 'guts' and I don't think Auty will walk away easily. Face value an all that! Brummies fans will get behind him ! (may be with the exception of UK Martin ..... just teasing)
  9. A divorce? say no more....he wont have any cash left!
  10. Scorching hot....plenty of water needed on the track !
  11. Morris and Shanes go well at Berwick...if Claus brings his A game, then I think we'll push Berwick very close. Hoping Bomber rides the same bike as he did on Monday at Wolverhampton !
  12. I don't think it's Ellis that needs to worry about 'bikes' ? (Auty) I too fear a bit of a spanking, but in Morris/Ellis/Vissing we have 3 riders with double figure potential ? Can the remaining 4 claw 16 points between them, for a narrow win ?
  13. I agree that you can't beat a derby and to see Oxford's opening meeting would be good, I just thought that they've picked the opening Championship League fixture as standard and the alternative was a trip to 'one line' Leicester.....
  14. I disagree...I think it's a great meeting to start the streaming with.
  15. I think you would benefit from a bit of counselling my friend.
  16. Firstly, 'we' (B'ham) didn't rob Redcar, the BSPA did....and secondly, if you track back to the thread, there isn't one comment from a B'ham supporter that wanted the win.... In fact....what got us through to the next round was the excellent away performance at Redcar....to keep the meeting to within 2 points ! Nobody could give a shinny sh#te! It's a pi##-pot competition and its fast becoming a pi##-pot sport.... Onwards and upwards
