If it is a young Aussie, I'm guessing a 4.00 average?
-
All we can do is guess My feeling is that the next signing is most likely an up and coming prospect ?
-
Yes I know....thanks. My previous post isn't clear.....the latest news thread reads that we 'were' due to sign Proctor, but he opted for Berwick as a Saturday night suited him better.
-
The current news also states that we were about to sign Ty-Proctor? This announcement doesn't inspire me....but we will have to wait and see. P.s I think Nigel Pearson had a hand in writing the latest press release? it describes the proposed signing as an 'exciting talent' !?
-
It's only a full time job if you're good enough to make it one.
-
Personally, I like to read anything 'speedway related' regardless of who's thread it is....just my opinion. If it's any consolation, I enjoy reading S4S and Uk Martins threads...both are usually interesting and 'balanced' views. Not sure why you guys are falling out.... Kiss and make up and lets get back to discussing anything speedway !

Can I ask why is an Eastbourne fan, who's following Kent royals next season, so bothered about Bhams team? Your posts are boring!
-
Just quoting fans forum!
-
Looks cracking!
-
Reading the Brummies forum, I think we can safely say that 'WE' (B'ham) are going to have a decent side, a competitive side, a great race track and we will definitely see the season out! Let the good times roll!
-
Can you watch the whole meeting from the centre green with the VIP deal?
-
Right now we need all the dust we can get...'Fairy dust'.....it may produce 3 inspirational signings!
-
I think you have a valid point here....not sure what the hold up is on that one....unless I've/we've missed something?
-
Its not that I object....I would just prefer a stronger signing with the points that we have to play with... It's very difficult to see or second guess which way we're going with the final 3? may be we're waiting for the outcome of Boris's garden party enquiry before any announcements ?
-
Difficult to prove in some cases....but I think 11 and under for free is great value, but could cost us in the long run. Giving my age away here, but when I first started going, it was 5 and under that was free. I think my dad used to carry me in till I was about 10

Just wondered what the comparisons are for 2022? Birmingham (Adult) £18 plus £3 per programme.
-
£12 ??? that's incredible value !
-
I agree....I was just responding to Col's suggestions? I don't think Ellis is beyond our expectations though....he's just an obvious choice of what's available....I'm not that fussed if we signed him or not! My wish list would include 'Covatti'....but I know that's not gonna happen!
-
Ellis, yes...Sedgeman, hopefully not...would prefer Gappmaier if poss? May be Jordan Stewart ? Beggars can't be choosers as they say
-
Enjoy !
-
No tune changed here....I don't have any sympathy...why would I ? I haven't criticised anyone? Jimsboy....you're just a jealous 'git' coz you haven't got a team to support !
-
I think Laurence is getting a lot of unfair stick....I'm sure he's doing his best. I don't see how he's to blame for the decline of the club and the situation we are in. The 'consortium' give him a budget and he has to work to that....realistically, we're not going to go from 'nearly folding half way through last season', to being able to compete with the likes of Poole/Glasgow etc..... As a 'speedway fan first and a B'ham fan second, I just want to see 'entertainment' and effort on the track! Who gives two shinny sh#tes about who's won what trophy? IF you make a final then, yes, it's nice to win it, simply because you've worked hard to get there.....but I don't lose any sleep if my team don't win.
-
Just read the 'B'ham fans forum' and one of the promoters has urged patience, with a vibe of team completion almost over the line? His words 'we want to get it right' .... So, pick the bones out of that!
