Random...but JPB is/was the saddest waste of talent that I've seen at B'ham in a long time! IF he'd of had the right/better sponsors/equipment, he'd would have gone so much further! Another talent that I remember was Taylor Hampshire.....very similar in style/effort to JPB!

True...but by the time the play offs come along, all the other clubs will be up to speed and besides that, they certainly wont be able to match Ipswich ! (obviously, depending on injuries etc...)

Most riders have passed their best at his age...Most... not all of course... But, Kildemand was/is the best rider I've seen around Perry Barr....although, the track was a lot better when he was over here... I like him and can't wait to see him visit with Oxford!

Having said that re: the strengthening? IF Ipswich hadn't suffered the injuries that they did last season, they most likely would have won the title/play-offs... So, in essence, they may not needed to have strengthened....

Out of the top 4 teams from last season, Ipswich are the only ones that have strengthened imo.... so it's Ipswich v BV final.... Ipswich to win!

Think most speedway fans are of the same opinion about Zagar by looks of it? Can do it IF he wants to....IF he doesnt, then might as well not bother? That's the risk/chance you take with 'has-beens' ! Need to get the track set-up right for him to do his stuff!
