Random...but JPB is/was the saddest waste of talent that I've seen at B'ham in a long time!
IF he'd of had the right/better sponsors/equipment, he'd would have gone so much further!
Another talent that I remember was Taylor Hampshire.....very similar in style/effort to JPB!
Is there any interest in that? (Morris/Shanes/Wajneckt ....???) not sure where the word 'development' lies within those riders ?.... its just something for Rogers to play with.
As for PL team...looking much better than last season....not that it could be any worse!
Thorsell is the obvious shout....
Get working on the track and things will start to look up!
This time last season everyone at Oxford filled with optimism....stadium/support/money etc etc etc....
This season...looking sh#te....someone needs to take a closer look at the Team manager!?
True...but by the time the play offs come along, all the other clubs will be up to speed and besides that, they certainly wont be able to match Ipswich ! (obviously, depending on injuries etc...)
Most riders have passed their best at his age...Most... not all of course...
But, Kildemand was/is the best rider I've seen around Perry Barr....although, the track was a lot better when he was over here...
I like him and can't wait to see him visit with Oxford!
Having said that re: the strengthening?
IF Ipswich hadn't suffered the injuries that they did last season, they most likely would have won the title/play-offs...
So, in essence, they may not needed to have strengthened....
To suggest they won't finish the season money wise, is bollocks imo!
They struggled last season, so why would they go again if they can't see it through?
Just saying....
As expected....on a 6 average, cant see much improvement coming from that!
Does mean he'll be classed as a second string, leaving the door open for Gilkes at reserve?
Think most speedway fans are of the same opinion about Zagar by looks of it?
Can do it IF he wants to....IF he doesnt, then might as well not bother?
That's the risk/chance you take with 'has-beens' !
Need to get the track set-up right for him to do his stuff!
