It's very difficult to gauge what sort of team we're going to end up with ? The optimism shrinks by the day.... I know the rule of thumb is 'support your club at all costs'....but times have changed.... I want to know what I'm investing in before parting with any money, it's not because I've fell out of love with my club, it's more that I'm not so thrilled with the sport in general.

One thing I can say about 'Monmore', the track may not be to everyone's taste, but the racing is decent, but above all that is a very enthusiastic 'atmosphere' ! Plenty of heckling/banter/good noise in general..... Speedway meetings at Wolverhampton are far more entertaining than at B'ham and not just because of the level of racing on show!

What you say is right....but it's the quality of the 7 riders...... that remains the question? If the 5th signing is an untried young Aussie on a 4.00 average, then that really doesn't hold much weight from where I'm sitting. Adam Ellis esq needs to be signed! It's obvious its not going to be AE.....there wouldn't be a hold up with paperwork etc ? Keeps us talking/guessing I suppose. P.s The track does look great though and I'm sure it will be great for the 'away' teams !

Yes I know....thanks. My previous post isn't clear.....the latest news thread reads that we 'were' due to sign Proctor, but he opted for Berwick as a Saturday night suited him better.

The current news also states that we were about to sign Ty-Proctor? This announcement doesn't inspire me....but we will have to wait and see. P.s I think Nigel Pearson had a hand in writing the latest press release? it describes the proposed signing as an 'exciting talent' !?

Personally, I like to read anything 'speedway related' regardless of who's thread it is....just my opinion. If it's any consolation, I enjoy reading S4S and Uk Martins threads...both are usually interesting and 'balanced' views. Not sure why you guys are falling out.... Kiss and make up and lets get back to discussing anything speedway !
