  1. If we use R/R for Vissing, then Redcar will hit 60 points tonight! I'm afraid as much as i love Paco, it doesn't inspire me to make the effort to attend this evening.
  2. Changes happen all the time....I can't see that being a problem? It would be allowed if it was 'Poole' ! (Joke )
  3. You're probably right there Dog....however, I don't think there will be a next season if crowd numbers continue to decline.... My reasoning behind Clegg is two-fold, may be entice a few Ex-Heathens and make home meetings more competitive. Like you, I would like to see Pearson develop, he looks a good prospect....not as good as I envisaged from reports etc.....
  4. Auty will struggle even more if he attempts a comeback this season!
  5. No chance of Shanes going...that would be ludicrous! Vissing/Auty and Pearson are the only riders that need replacing!
  6. Lose Vissing/Pearson/Auty and bring in 3 available riders.... Wethers/Starke/Clegg!!!
  7. Pickering would be my choice....he guested for Auty last week, so he'd avoid the 8 day rule if guesting for Vissing?
  8. Well, this dilemma will indicate B'ham's intentions either way ???
  9. Feel for the fans....fair play to all those that tried their hardest to keep the club going, whether they did the so called 'right' thing/s or not, at least they had a go!
  10. P.s atm, the world Cup of darts beats speedway by a country mile!
  11. Good post...but what really is beneficial to the paying public? Watching a no.8 or a highly skilled speedway rider?
  12. You know I'm only joking Lisa just 'firing' up the anti-Poole brigade (which I'm not a member of )
  13. Couldn't think of anything worse! Ellis can sling his hook as far as I'm concerned! Can't be doing with 'greed'!
  14. Should that read..... in the best interests of 'Poole' ? ..... just teasing Poole fans! I'm not jealous at all
  15. With no other Championship sides riding last night, I was surprised to see that B'ham booked Wells.... Luckily, Pickering saved the day! It's a shi#e situation that we find ourselves in, but if there's enough people to support a sh#te situation, then it will continue I guess. I havent been since the 'Ellis-gate' bullsh#t and I havent missed it!
  16. pound for pound it has to be Plymouth imo..... You can bet that Barker will be on fire.....Nicholls is usually unbeatable.....he's the best rider that I've seen around PB in recent seasons.
  17. Bit unfair on Nielsen, he's the stand out rider for me this season. Sedgemen appears to be ok if he makes the gate.
  18. Not really Col....'it's speedway'....anything goes ! Plymouth to win ..... 38 - 52
  19. Oh, thanks for the info... I didn't know about an 'original' thread? Shame if he/she has been banned...he/she was quite amusing
  20. Just had a quick scroll through this thread and noticed that there's no comment from Poole's No.1 loyal fan (Turnip) whom previously announced that he supports Poole because they win trophies ? I wonder if he'll be seen at Beaumont Park on a Saturday evening from now on ....
  21. The said '3' clubs are obviously in a more financial advantageous position than B'ham ..... I do think that any Berwick fan should've got a FULL refund.... Afterall, if we can give half price admission to Cov/Cradley/Wolves and any away fan with a season ticket, then it would've made sense to reimburse Berwick fans.
  22. Just noticed on B'ham's website that yesterday they posted news about the next home meeting (Weds v Plymouth) every detail (apart from teams) So, I assume this 'news' is aimed at any newcomer ? as regulars already know what to expect and the only 'news' we will be interested in is about line-ups? Its all good and well posting this news to prospective newbies, but they need to know about the website first? Not sure how they go about getting the 'message' out there ? (apologies...just noticed that this news was also done the week before v Edinburgh) Still can't get my head around the fact that Cov/Cradley/Wolves fans can get in for almost half the price that a loyal B'ham fan who's been attending for 51 years....
