Be great to see what 7 riders we're putting out ? -
Definitely.....it's all about the money no doubt?

Teams look pretty even to me! Be good to see how Complin goes and whether he's riding for a 2023 contract?

Quite right.... Shanes would be a useful reserve at best. I thought Morris could come good this season, but he hasn't and looks like he never will? I'd give Pearson another season and try and hold on to Nielsen. As for the manager? he's tactically inept FULL STOP! P.s Please don't bring Paco back.....nice guy, but ....... -
Why not donate any profits to a charity of Alan's family's choice ? Hodgkins Lymphoma springs to mind....

Great news! Hopefully, from the 'big-big' learning curve that he's indicated....he will not only bring in some decent riders, but a new team manager ! Not saying shoe LR the door, but bring in a proper speedway manager, not just someone who knows the tricks of the trade so to speak. LR can lend his experience/involvement with just promotional side of things! -

Not sure you're post makes any valid points in relation to Kennett's situation ? Good management by May IMO....why wouldn't he use the rules to the benefit of his team? I was just merely pointing out how astute he is as a manger....which reflects my original comment re: the use of team tactics etc.... -

Not bitter at all....I dont do bitterness....if you read my post closely, I was complimenting the manager's enterprising skills ? -
In my eyes it's not about money....it's about honouring a legend!

Especially when manufacturing a guest ALL season for Kennett -
its a bham v Cradley encounter... a fitting tribute!

In the event of the British Final being abandoned....the Cardiff Wildcard should go to the leading (British) rider in the British League averages (IMO) I guess (at present) that would make 'Bomber' the worthy candidate!

Great news.... Weds Sept 7th....Alan Grahame Memorial Meeting.... I look forward to paying my respect to a true legend of the sport. Not just a great rider, but a great person too!

Does our team manager actually follow the scores in the meeting? Just trying to workout why we didn't use a T/S at any point ? ? Plymouth's manager seemed to be 'enterprising' ? Morley taking a reserve ride as early as Heat 4 ? -

Plymouth 56 - B'ham 34 Thomson/Hook have both done reasonably well at Plymouth this season (according to results ) -

Pickering's average is too high for him to take the place of one of our absentee's ? Could of had Basso for Auty though ? (surely its about cost...) nothing to ride for so why go all out? -

I think logistics might play a part re: to guests ..... need to keep the costs down ? -

Think the 8 day rule would apply to Complin? (not sure how that works ) LOL I think we'd be better off signing him on a short term contract....see the season out in place of Shanes ? -

Josh Pickering in for someone suspended for breaching the rules ? not sure I agree with that one ?
