4 meetings at home...20 rides...Sedgmen has won 2 races ! He's not hit double figures once??? woeful! Appointed Captain by the manager .......... very inspirational !

I recognize that I'm spitting my dummy out...but I just can't justify funding something I don't believe in . If the owner/s have got any business sense, then they'd employ a 'proper' speedway manager before Rogers drives even more fans away.

Or the loyal paying fans ??? It's the last penny I spend watching this side whilst Rogers is in charge!

Plymouth is also not the best track to lose form on....'just keep turning left'!

I don't mean/intend to predict doom/disaster all of the time...I just say what I see...I haven't seen anything 'inspiring' this season yet? ... although I haven't watched any away meetings! I didn't go to the last home match against Scunthorpe...so my only viewing has been Scunthorpe (opener) and Redcar...the only highlight/hope I witnessed from those 2 meetings were a good bit of team riding by Morris and a fabulous guest appearance by Cook! I'm hoping for some monetary value tonight!

We need James Wright to be fit to win this one, especially if he's taking one of Nielsen's rides! Really impressed with Bowtell's current form...hope I havent jinxed him! Good luck to J.T on his home debut, at least he's hungry and giving it his all! re

Not really....had no idea that they wasn't using a guest for Howarth....I'm sure had he been riding, he would've scored more than his replacement/s score of 3 ? i'm pleased that we've won, but let's not kid ourselves, luck was on our side for once. Lets see what tonight brings!? P.S Can't find yours or Pete CC's posts about predicting a win last night ???

Prediction if Wright doesn't comeback? Edinburgh will dump Paco and Paco will return to Brum !

One question...if James is 100% fit to ride on Wednesday, then I just wondered why he isn't fit to ride tonight? especially after his performance there a month ago?

The only way I can see B'ham speedway continuing/surviving, is if we amalgamated with Cov/Cradley and formed a Midlands Team!

I think the meetings these days are 'rushed' through....there's obviously good/not so good points about that? Not sure whether this affects our manager's inability to make beneficial tactical changes? (not enough time to 'consider' a change etc...) But my general opinion, is that there's little, or no atmosphere in between races! It needs a complete over-haul....announcers with charisma....etc etc etc.... From a personal perspective, I'm happy with 'rushed' through meetings simply because I'm only there for the 'racing'...but I can easily see why youngsters/new fans would be bored 'sh#tless'!

He's hit and miss at PB...waste of space if he doesn't gate! Has to be Harris all day long for me....may be 'Basso'?

Difficult to gauge atm, because the meetings that we've had, its been freezing, so a fair few have watched from indoors and its hard to see how many? But, what I have seen, is that there's been hardly anyone outside (200/300?) and only a handful of away supporters.

I think so far as a newbie attending ? what a speedway meeting seriously lacks...is presentation! With so few in attendance, the atmosphere is already dull compared to most sports! I always look at how the darts has changed with time and how successful that is now! (mind you, take away 'the alcohol' and I think darts would fall on its head!)

Yes...he must be...we're already a weak side...surely we can't risk being any weaker!
