The format had to change to make the competition more interesting....if the old style '4' man team event had remained, then nobody would get anywhere near Poland for another few years to come!

Sorry.....not exactly what I meant? Re-phrased...….'Ayres potentially can beat most of our riders at PB.....he can definitely be quicker than Zach/Paco/Ashley/James on his day, imo….. It depends which Danny Ayres turns up ? There is also the other side to Danny and I remember Layne Cuppitt beat him 2 seasons ago! He will definitely add some spice to proceedings.

Ayres is better than all the B'ham riders apart from Ellis around PB....Great choice of guest and it provides real entertainment too! I hate to say it, but this could be another big home defeat.....???

Great additions to the team! I think i'd of swapped Morris instead of Newman though! (not much in it) Hats off to David Mason for doing something so soon!

Well, if we're making a couple of changes, I'd out Newman and a toss up between Morris or Thomsen ? Bring in Ellis and Becker!!

I think you're well within your rights to email them and air your thoughts/views....(but may be not straight after a performance like last night ) LOL As for response? The only answer I think you'll get is a 'financial' related one? I feel for the Masons because they've given us 'half' of what we long serving fans want ? (first class speedway/but a second rate team) and I'm not sure they are prepared to give us the other half whilst attendances are so low? now that Lee Kilby looks like he's leaving us, I really feel we might struggle to attract more backing etc.....(hope I'm wrong) I think the management will respect your views. Hope you posted your thoughts on the Brummies forum : ) I'm surprised at some of your comments as I often see you socialising with the manager/management and you often slated me for my previous negative comments about the manager last season??? However, I don't think any speedway manager could make a difference with our current line-up. However, you have made some very valid and respected points (especially Tobias being replaced in arguably his weakest race? I also pointed that out to a fan last night) I feel you've been harsh on Ulrik, who at least performed credibly last night. He shouldn't be made a scape goat (or at least appear to be...) A new commercial manager is definitely an avenue to explore now that Lee is a much busier man at Swindon! We've only had 2 home meetings.... 1. We were very close to a 'great' victory over Somerset 2. We were out gated and out fought and were definitely 2nd best in all departments against Eastbourne (I don't think the slick surface helped) Don't lose faith just yet
