I don't think they'll have any other choice, by the sounds of things? Until we get official confirmation from club officials we'll just have to keep guessing? Let's face it, whatever side we put out....'guests' or no 'guests', we're not going to pull back the 1st leg deficit!

Well if Ellis is away and there isn't a suitable replacement, then I can't see many people turning up ? May be Laurence(or someone from the club) can confirm one way/other? I'm sure he posts on here ?

The format had to change to make the competition more interesting....if the old style '4' man team event had remained, then nobody would get anywhere near Poland for another few years to come!

Sorry.....not exactly what I meant? Re-phrased...….'Ayres potentially can beat most of our riders at PB.....he can definitely be quicker than Zach/Paco/Ashley/James on his day, imo….. It depends which Danny Ayres turns up ? There is also the other side to Danny and I remember Layne Cuppitt beat him 2 seasons ago! He will definitely add some spice to proceedings.

Ayres is better than all the B'ham riders apart from Ellis around PB....Great choice of guest and it provides real entertainment too! I hate to say it, but this could be another big home defeat.....???

Great additions to the team! I think i'd of swapped Morris instead of Newman though! (not much in it) Hats off to David Mason for doing something so soon!

Well, if we're making a couple of changes, I'd out Newman and a toss up between Morris or Thomsen ? Bring in Ellis and Becker!!

At the end of the day, like I've previously stated.... 'We've only had 2 competitive 'home' meetings' ? give the boys a chance to bed in!
