  1. Unless 'we' make the Play-Offs !? πŸ˜†
  2. Birmingham's farewell meeting has already taken place....it was when 'Rogers' got involved! πŸ˜€
  3. If I'm right, I'm guessing that you did bend 4? I did bend 3 at the time and although I get where you're coming from re: having a beer and a chat on the terraces? I 'did' the flag, not just because I wanted to volunteer etc....I did it partly because watching the racing from the centre green is the best experience of watching speedway for me....plus it was 'free' entrance....'just being honest'!
  4. Says the 'pr#tt' who puts a bit of methanol in a riders bike and then thinks he's the clubs official sponsor! πŸ˜€
  5. Nobody is suggesting that you do away with volunteers....they're the 'un-sung' heroes of all clubs...I'm just pointing out that 45 or so (as you suggest) would have an effect on gate receipts.... I just wonder how many volunteers would pay to attend, if they wasn't volunteers? I volunteered for a few seasons and loved every minute of it until they started asking us to stay behind after the meeting to rake the track....meaning a very late finish, with a fair journey home.... Its the ones who volunteer and don't get to see the meeting (club shop staff etc...) they're the ones who deserve a pat on the back!
  6. Trouble is, there are more volunteers than paying spectators and we all know that the volunteers get to watch/see the meeting for free...I bet there's not a volunteer who pays to watch ? I'm not saying that they should pay, but if you add up how much the club would get if they did, then it would help towards the cause..... So, whilst helping to keep the club going, they're also helping towards its financial demise...
  7. Cant read too much in to that....the only rider he beat was Hume and he only scored 3 points! Hope he does well, but he's not a Joe Screen/Michael Lee......
  8. If only it was as simple as that...Musielak needs to win all of his races... not just beat an opponent in Heat 1...Barker wont win a race, let alone beat Kvech! KL will walk this....34-56!
  9. That's why I put a forward slash /rider ? either- either-both ....πŸ‘
  10. Only in speedway....a club/rider being punished...end up with a stronger replacement??? πŸ˜€
  11. Unfortunately, that's the only thing that is behind him these days! πŸ˜€
  12. EXACTLY! Grateful or not ...the 'product' has been poor, season after season since Tolley took over...it's not hard to work out why!? I'm not sure that I agree with having a team to watch is better than nothing....just my opinion!
  13. Would've been better off signing another 'Sam Hagon' if there is one? Give youth a bit of experience.... Barker's signing will only reduce attendance levels! This Tolley/Rogers combination is the most inept promotional set-up in the Clubs history...bar none! God help the next Club that they extinguish!
  14. Dont think any signing will increase gate revenue... Flogging a dead horse! We know that Nick Morris is available from July 12TH....uh oh!!
  15. Or signed him for next season at Sheffield πŸ˜€
