He might well come to Foxhall and bang in double figure scores as he had in previous seasons.... However he can't do it consistently week in week out so we're better off with out him. As for upping his average not so sure on that one as I said consistency is his issue now

Interesting that both Poland and the UK were attracting similar attendance to league meeting in the 70s and early 80s. By the mid 80s the BL was in major trouble through many of the issues that are still present today. The issue now is speedway in the country doesn't have the benefit of a good sponsor like CPL

If you want to control where riders go then sign them all on a central BSPA contracts put them in groups of one to seven and draw the names out of a hat to see where they end up for the season.

Gollob and Hampel both sign for Ipswich because the track was tight and tricky and they recognised that would be a massive help in their development. That said it was the old Foxhall track.

Well we know one rider who won't be here Richard Lawson has been announced by Sheffield this morning.

If you have Harris along with King and Heeps you have 3 riders who won't increase their scoring over the season. Harris is on the way down, King will stay the same or drop slightly and Heeps has a slight improvement left. Then add in Klint that's 4 riders with no real improvement to be gained from there starting figures. Allen is a must but a full season in the top 5 again might see no improvement in scoring. Then your at 5 riders who will sit at the same level. I think we need decent changes from last season to maintain the level, we hit last season.

No I think Harris is at his level and that average is only going one way.
