Yep drinking and posting are never a good thing as I can attest to.. having made a bigger tool of myself than I normally do trying to post whilst full of drink... on several occasions... and that is really difficult... Doh Regards THJ

Regards THJ

Yep a hear what you are saying and respect your opinion however I totally disagree... Opinions... just like onions... lots or rings... or if you're dyslexic it's the same word... never mind... if we ever become promoters I can have him for my team and you can dodge the bullet... Regards THJ

Had many a chat with Jacob in the bar at Brough with Percy his mechanic and you couldn't meet a nicer kid... all he is asking for is a chance to prove himself and to be fair I have seen a lot worse... If Jacob is lucky enough to get a prolonged run in a team he will stick a point to a point and a half on that starting average no problem... plus he's a Dane and even if he ends up struggling you will get nothing but proffessionalism out of him as all Danes come with that metallity... I wouldn't mind him back at Newcastle that's for sure.... Totally correct Regards THJ

Come on Steve your research skills are letting you down Jurica Pavlic started on a 4.00 and ended up with a 5.11 average for Swindon at the end of the 2009 season so if that were converted now it would be 8.18 at today's exchange rate so not as daft as some have made out... The only snag would be if he goes to Poland this season and ends up racing on a Sunday as that would flat rule him out; I am sure one of the Polish League/Teams experts on here could advise accordingly... Regards THJ

Jesus buddy how long you been doing this? its a guesstimate "gis a break FFS" am just playing the game... If he is doing the UK this year then great I would (me personally) I would like to see him at Newcastle, hes exciting; entertaining and expressed a liking for the track; but as I am not part of the promotion its not my gift to give!!! if he doesn't as the Star article suggested then stick one of them daft names in "its a puppet" like is it not? know what a mean!!! so Pavlic; Ravelic; Ronny Abravamowvic; Puselic; Popadopalic; Tomas Sucmedic (think he once rode for Redcar) or Victor Palovarra or Joel Andersen as they are also available... or anyone else for that matter. "ITS A PUPPET" Anyone really (if we run... Ahem) but he is at this moment in time still available and not as far as I am aware signed up by anyone else in the Championship... So has he decided... Who knows... well you and the SS apparently but if he does change his mind can we have him please? Regards THJ

I have been told Alfie is now fit and well and looking for a slot with no reason to disbelieve the source Regards THJ

So here's attempt No 2 just for Dandelion with not so daft names; at least not as daft as the ones she is putting up!!! NEWCASTLE DIAMONDS AVE -2.50% 1 Hans Andersen 9.26 9.26 2 Max Clegg 5.05 4.93 3 Ondrej Smetana 5.00 5.00 4 Matthew Wethers 6.92 6.92 5 Nico Covatti 7.82 7.82 6 Jacob Bukhave 4.00 4.00 7 Alfie Bowtell 3.10 3.02 Total: 41.15 40.95 There you go what's wrong with that team with riders who are still (left) available? I would quite happily pay my sponsorship money to go and watch that lot no problem... Regards THJ
-
Ha ha... nice to see you back... Bjarne is only 41 a think and Nikki is 43... Still spring chickens... are you not on about that Hancock bloke he definitely looks like he is pushing 85... Regards THJ
-
Oh manner from Heaven... If you are talking of daft you are the reason why the word was invented... Barker... Starke and Ully all signed elsewhere... Kus had last year off(ish) to concentrate on his business and I've been told he is doing Poland next year Wethers and Clegg will be a given and to be fair I would like to see Jacob but doubt it will happen... try fitting Ludde in because he's available... (Ruffs just had an orgasm) Oh and definitely no King of Diamonds either... Now that balloon is popped al put me pin away... Regards THJ Oh and we couldn't afford Dan Bewley...
-
Pavlic had five home and three away meetings (or vice versa) when it was strict 4 home 4 away to obtain an average so he was on a 4 which should convert to 6.4.... But his 8.32 average does look quite impressive... Just sayin like... Regards THJ

No the track has new owners who don't want to be responsible for the demise of the Speedway as corporately they don't do negative press it their big No-No, however if the Speedway were to fold or walk away of their own volition there wouldn't be any tears shed. As the dog racing from the track is pumped into betting shops around the country four days a week its a very lucrative business for them... what they get and make from the Speedway is a drop in the ocean to them which they could take or leave... However the positive note is they do not want to be seen as the company what collapsed the Speedway... as I say they don't do negative press and I think they would be supportive in what the promotion are trying to achieve, but again that may not manifest itself in a substantial reduction in rental of the stadium... but as landlords go I don't believe they are all that unreasonable... Just not ideal though is it... Regards THJ
-
Well we are going into the final year of our lease agreement so the end of next season is when the hard negotiating will need to be done or better still find somewhere else and build our own legacy... the landlords have always played hard ball over the rental situation... Regards THJ
-
There you go another dreamer... and you never know till you ask... I bet the some of the Sheffield promotion may be thought that but it became a reality... that spark of ambition that develops into a flame of hope and glory Then someone has a waz on the fire and puts that idea well and truly out... lol Never mind we live in hope; but the news isn't all doom and gloom Keep watching the Newcastle Web Site for some Good News hopefully breaking soon... Regards THJ

So Steve you gave us Ondrej Smetana? who I think is a very good shout and I am going to raise your Ondrej Smetana and come back with Jurica Pavlic... Get your investigative head on and pick the bones out of that one.... What sort of averages would these guys come in on? Regards THJ

It is but you can have any figure you want for team building it just restricts you further down the team having less points to use (play with) for the remaining riders Spot on and Doyle was one who was on around a 13 point average for team building purposes Potentially... It all depends as Worky brought Cookie in (on a normal average) and reckoned they would cover his "additional wage and cost" by attracting more punters through the door with him being a top rider and local lad and it didn't put one extra soul on the gate; not one additional body (they budgeted for 60 by the way which wasn't unreasonable)... Now if that had of been Stoney I reckon he would have put a 100 at least on the crowd as he was a legend at the spot; Same as Nikki Ped at Newcastle I reckon the love the fans have for him and his popularity and celebrity would shine through and Nikki would stick a hundred more bodies on the crowd figures at Newcastle for sure... Totally correct... how times have changed... Ahem.... (Glasgow to far North? May be if you had been in the Southern clique it would have been okay to bend the rules... sniff...) but the last time it happened it was to try and realign the averages so a precedent has now been set would be my argument Regards THJ
-
I know but it's nice to dream... lol Regards THJ Although I doubt if there is anything in the rules for team building stopping you from building a team with a 13.5 point averaged rider... it would just screw the rest of your team up with a really weak lower end to accommodate a high averaged rider... wonder what his average will be.... 7.5 equals 12 and 8 comes out at 12.8... and 8.44 comes out at 13.5... so owt less than 7.5 to keep within the bounds of sensibility...
-
Honestly What a fantastic signing by Sheffield... wonder if he fancies coming home on a double up... we could do with an out and out No 1... Very rare I get envious but this gets close... Regards THJ
-
Ha-ha... shouldn't laugh really... think a had this once but the doctor gave me some cream to clear it up... Honestly Steve I have no idea... but I will take your word for it... Regards THJ

If it helps... Wells and Heeps signed elsewhere Yes I am led to believe the cut off is December 7th... Barker.. gone Howarth... gone BWD... gone... all signed up for other clubs... So as above BWD & Heeps signed for others... Wethers need to be quick or it could be back to Edinburgh...Ully gone Grondal possible... Clegg available and Phillips please no... Theo Pjiper available. Greaves available and I like two eggs with my bacon... So when anyone has a go at building a team (Dandelion) you have an idea of whose not available Oh and missed out Simota and the Czech kid who Geordie Stancl knows as both were lined up for Plymouth I believe... Oh and whatever happened to Manuel Hauzinger? Have fun... Regards THJ
-
That's only a best guesstimate and a little inside knowledge but it won't be far away... Regards THJ
-
He does as he is a Aussie on a British Passport because if he was an Aussie on an Aussie passport we couldn't use him as we do not have the correct paperwork to use Aussie's unfortunately Regards THJ

So not known for doing this and because Dandelion has been nowhere to be seen... How would this float everyone's boat... And its only a guess on who appears to be left so please don't bite to hard... be gentle... And; and; and; the best one is what about Bjarne Peddersen back home for his retirement year... mmmmmlollol Or or Hans Andersen who has been mentioned but I cant see anywhere yet? bigger mmmmm louder lollol... Not factored them into my game of "Silly Burgers" yet... So here goes... he said... trying to think outside the box... Oh and finally mmmmm's and lollol's copy-write recognition to Bandits BJcol... Dear Santa can we have a speedway team first off and Secondly we will have anything left in your sack for a team NEWCASTLE DIAMONDS AVE -2.50% 1 Claus Vissing 8.43 8.43 2 Max Clegg 5.05 4.93 3 Lasse Bjerre 5.87 5.87 4 Matthew Wethers 6.92 6.75 5 Nico Covatti 7.82 7.82 6 Jacob Bukhave 4.00 4.00 7 Alfie Bowtell 3.10 3.02 Total: 41.19 40.82 Its the best I can come up with looking on the BSPA web site... and sitting on a train using my phone... Regards THJ PS me eyes are bleeding looking at this little screen cos I've forgot me specs... Doh
