Just heard something on the radio and the 17th of May is the date apparently where up to 4,000 fans will be allowed allowed into stadiums as long as this figure isn't more than 50% of the ground capacity. The other thing is the FA Cup final is on Saturday the 15th of May 2021 so I am surprised they haven't went to this date to try and get some fans in for the final to try and give the thing some atmosphere which is what I was told the FA were aiming/hoping for by a refereeing pal? But Boris has put the caveat on the ease up that it will all depend on the "Scientific Data" however all being equal fully back to normal by the 21st of June 2021... Data not dates... Regards THJ -
Because its not a percentage of the/a number/average its a multiplier or divisor so 1.5 x (Times by) 8 = 12 and likewise 12/(Divided by)1.5 = 8 Times the Premiership number/average by 1.5 to obtain a Championship average... Divide the Championship number/average by 1.5 to achieve the desired result of a Premiership average... So in theory the highest convertible average from the Premiership to the Championship is 8.00... any rider above this cant (again in theory) double down... unless he gets his average to 8.00 or lower... Its what its all about mate... differing opinions and I wasn't there when Swales done the track only Anthony D but earlier days and different bikes and set ups back then; however there was some cracking racing there when Steve Lawson took on the job and when Dickie Juul got Rasser fired up there was passing a plenty on 3 and 4; in fact Dickie got all the Danes fired up to be fair and he was a class act in the pits... But I have different memories and Steve's track prep had a lot to do with that 2018 season but there you go... still a miss though... I would be happy to go to a "Shot Tip" if we could have it back... Regards THJ -

Ya right Phil and to be fair I have been one of those detractors as I am not struck on the proposal... however its in and I do hope every club gives it a good go to try and make it work... next year I would suggest will be the make or break of the proposal; and ultimately if it doesn't work folks on the other side cant get the opportunity to say it only failed because there was no "good will" to make it work... if that makes sense? it needs to be embraced fully... It needs to to be given a good run to see how it pans out... if it works out great and if it falls flat then there is always the next daft idea for us to moan about... Regards THJ -

You are spot on for me and it is all about track preparation and no matter what the size of the track; the prep provides the racing... Derwent Park Workington a big rangy track and I couldn't stand the racing on it when it had dirt on the track and was watered to within an inch of its life each week... then came the team of 2018 and Steve Lawson doing the track prep and the Dane's in the team wanted the track as slick as possible and Steve duly complied and the place was transformed from a mainly "gate and go" to an absolutely fantastic "fast" racetrack with the room to allow for passing (at speed) and Steve's effort wasn't really appreciated in that H18tory making season but he became the 8th man and to be fair it went against his own better judgement and ingrained belief that a slick track wouldn't be best suited for good quality racing at Derwent Park; but even he said he was converted by the end of the season... shame its no more... The next track to watch for me is Berwick (another big track) because the "Guy's" up there have put in a great deal of work and effort in improving the track and at the practice session I attended towards the end of last season (when we thought we might get some racing in at the back end of the season) it looked really good and I think the racing will improve no end with the changes made... here's a prediction that Shielfield Park will be getting plenty of compliments for the racing there this season from all and sundry... On my one and only visit to Plymouth a few year back now (their last foray into the 2nd League) the racing was fast and furious and although the track was a bit dusty the racing and passing was spot on and good to watch... hopefully its the same trackman as it looked like he was doing a good job... However with the two big hitters in the team I am no doubt sure they will have a say in how the track is prepared... and why not? You can nearly smell that methanol... not long now hopefully... fingers crossed (and everything else for that matter)… Regards THJ -
I have been advised that the 1.5 conversion rate has not changed this season as was proposed at the 2019 BSPL meeting which stated they were going to put the conversion rate up by 0.1 each year until it go to 2.0... so last year 1.6 and this year 1.7 but that idea has apparently fallen by the way-side... However it will be interesting to see if anyone in the Championship tries to pick up Troy Batch who has said he would like to race in both leagues as he is on an 8.82 and he converts out to a Championship busting average of 13.23 Regards THJ

Well there are Rumours and there are Rumours... some rumours end up as being fact and the other Rumours is an LP by Fleetwood Mac... Crump signs for Plymouth and it will be on a 12 average I suggest so BP will be at No 5 with Crump at No 1... Go Plymouth what a rumoured signing that has come to fruition... Regards THJ -

Honestly That's what its all about to be fair and I genuinely think its a fantastic signing; Glasgow pulled of a coup a few year back with the signing of Joe Screen and he set a buzz about the place (and the league to be fair) as people like watching quality regardless of age... These guys keep fit as its all they do; riders are very professional these days in how they operate and conduct themselves which is rather ironic when you consider how the sport is run (and not just in the UK)… like you say these guys have great race craft and that is also what adds to there longevity; Joe Screen was always a pleasure to watch no matter where he was riding... Age shouldn't be a barrier should it? there have been some good riders still plying there trade into their late 30's and early 40's Scott Nichols is 43 in May and Chris Harris will be 40 next year... Certainly in the Championship Bjarne should be able to do a job and hold his own to return good figures... I would have certainly liked to have seen him in our team and will look forward to watching him (Covid permitting) on his return... Just saying like... Regards THJ -

Honestly I think one is talking about Crump and the other is referring to Ostergaard... Could be wrong like... but genuinely here's the BIG question has Crump ever ridden at Redcar... as we all know Ostergaard has ridden there many times? Regards THJ -
