  1. Wouldnโ€™t mind seeing some more young talents being brought over again. Worked out well this season ๐Ÿ˜
  2. He has been on a bike since he left. I saw a clip of him on Gavin Parr's upright a month or so ago at Redcar ๐Ÿ™‚ Although a spin on someone elses bike is very different to committing to a full season
  3. He can't come back until he pays his fine, which seems like something he isn't interested in doing. Perhaps if the deal was right he may reconsider, he's only 32
  4. Rew -1 vs Pickering Bewley under 13 Lindgren +1 vs NKI
  5. Leicester +6 Howarth +0 vs Lampart ๐Ÿ˜Š
  6. Cook/Batch Zischke Vuolas Bailey Pijper AN Other ๐Ÿ˜Š
  7. It looks a tight meeting on paper. Comets have a powerhouse top 5 if they all click, but Scunny are well capable of matching them, and more with 2023 Comet, Luke Harrison at reserve along with Jack Smith, who was one of the better visitors around Northside last year in my opinion, giving them the edge in the reserve department. Quite hard to predict, but I think weโ€™ll be able to make an educated guess later this afternoon once we see a few heats. I canโ€™t see us challenging Scunthorpe away, so this is our best chance to at least get the all important third win in the table and most likely book ourselves a place in the Semi Final as the lucky losers. This is going to be the toughest test so far for The Comets, and definitely not one to be missed. Best of luck, and Iโ€™m sure everyone in attendance will enjoy another great day of racing!
  8. Is there any news on Ben Barker following his withdrawal at Scunthorpe?
  9. Charles Wright +0 vs Danny King Niels Kristian Iversen -2 vs Norick Blodorn DOUBLE
  10. Shame to hear that local rider Callum Foy has stepped away from the sport. Another gap to fill for Workington, only this time the NJL!
  11. No time for details but my picks are: Belle Vue -12 Kurtz over 10 Lidsey over 9 Fricke over 11 Good luck everyone
  12. A double for this afternoons Edward Jancarz Memorial Vaculik + Woryna (2.40) https://www.facebook.com/share/p/q6QpwH9B4de7mcWW/?mibextid=WC7FNe
  13. Jaimon Lidsey over 9 - 2pts Maciej Janowski over 8 - 2pts Jaimon Lidsey to win EW - 1pt And a H2H treble of Janowski, Lindgren and Bailey - 1.5pts Good luck everyone
  14. Charles Wright -2 vs Tom Brennan Tom's scores at Oxford last year were 6 (4), 7 (4) and 3 (5), so it makes me feel like there's a good chance for this one. Charles only had one league appearance there in 2023, scoring 9 from 6, although he did make the final of the pairs with Redcar, scoring 21 out of a possible 24. Rohan Tungate -2 vs Vaclav Milik Oxford's press and practice being held yesterday should, in theory, help The Spires improve their home advantage. And Rohan Tungate could make the most of this, coming back to the UK arguably better than ever. He's recently been crowned Australian Champion. He also displayed a very solid season in Poland's 1 Liga last year to help Zielona Gora gain promotion back to the Ekstraliga, while also finishing 7th in the averages.
