  1. He doesn’t seem to be the most likely going off rumours, but you could find plenty worse He has the ambition to succeed, has proven that there’s potential on his average. And if you could secure him in the NT too then there’s real potential to have someone who could dominate heat 2
  2. If the rumours are to be believed, there'll be at least three 2.00 riders next season (Glasgow x2 and Redcar) Possibly four or five altogether.
  3. Wouldn’t mind seeing some more young talents being brought over again. Worked out well this season 😁
  4. He has been on a bike since he left. I saw a clip of him on Gavin Parr's upright a month or so ago at Redcar 🙂 Although a spin on someone elses bike is very different to committing to a full season
  5. He can't come back until he pays his fine, which seems like something he isn't interested in doing. Perhaps if the deal was right he may reconsider, he's only 32
  6. Rew -1 vs Pickering Bewley under 13 Lindgren +1 vs NKI
  7. Leicester +6 Howarth +0 vs Lampart 😊
  8. Cook/Batch Zischke Vuolas Bailey Pijper AN Other 😊
  9. It looks a tight meeting on paper. Comets have a powerhouse top 5 if they all click, but Scunny are well capable of matching them, and more with 2023 Comet, Luke Harrison at reserve along with Jack Smith, who was one of the better visitors around Northside last year in my opinion, giving them the edge in the reserve department. Quite hard to predict, but I think we’ll be able to make an educated guess later this afternoon once we see a few heats. I can’t see us challenging Scunthorpe away, so this is our best chance to at least get the all important third win in the table and most likely book ourselves a place in the Semi Final as the lucky losers. This is going to be the toughest test so far for The Comets, and definitely not one to be missed. Best of luck, and I’m sure everyone in attendance will enjoy another great day of racing!
  10. Is there any news on Ben Barker following his withdrawal at Scunthorpe?
  11. Charles Wright +0 vs Danny King Niels Kristian Iversen -2 vs Norick Blodorn DOUBLE
  12. Shame to hear that local rider Callum Foy has stepped away from the sport. Another gap to fill for Workington, only this time the NJL!
