  1. I'm not sure he's been awash with phone calls, he's on an awkward average where others want to take a chance on an unknown and gain an asset. I'm not sure how much he can do to push on by forcing a move elsewhere?
  2. You're right about Tate and Antti still learning away tracks and any other newcomers having to learn away tracks will make the Comets suspect away from home. Personally I can see Jye being a big improver this year. He'll love his new home track and the wide open spaces, plus from the teams point of view having someone else in the team who knows all the away tracks will be essential. I can see Jye adding 1.5 points on his average this year. I think Jye at his worst is a 5.00 point rider. I think he'll be a good improver and will be good for the team too.
  3. Not sure where you were Friday night, but I guess 1 out of 7 ain't bad😉
  4. He’s had several offers and will be spending most of his time travelling ooop north 🤣
  5. Couldn't use Starke, he was in the play offs for Workington. But I agree they should have found a better guest
  6. Jim was there in person last night, so will have witnessed it first hand.
  7. Best bet if he could fit would be Voulas, but he's entirely the wrong nationality for Lemon
  8. Whilst it's far from ideal, Workington could get away with RR for Tate at home with extra rides for Troy, Claus and Antii. Away from home where Tate has been learning new tracks and his scores reflect that, well chosen guests could work well.
  9. It’s clearly just very convenient to exclude the guy who’s now out of the meeting rather than the one who momentarily loses control, makes contact with another rider pushing them into the fence. Decision is a joke
  10. Just change the word "all" for "the vast majority of" and you are about right. BSPL sought advice about transponders, chose not to take it and went for the cheapest option and unbelievably ended up buying something that doesn't work very well. Who'd of thunk that
  11. I know there have been a lot of discussions trying to get Anders on board, but travel, difficulty in getting to Poland for Sundays and also money have meant that that deal hasn't come off so far
  12. Think a few people are getting a little carried away. Jason Doyle will do what's best for Jason Doyle and his family. And so he should. Riding in the UK suits him and his family, Riding for Ipswich suits him and his family. And in return he performs week in week out and gives value for money to his employers end of. If you want to put him on a pedestal of integrity and loyalty and he does it for the love of the fans etc, might want to ask Leszno how they feel about him.
  13. I think Tarasenko is a pretty safe bet, most tracks he saw for the first time last year. He saw Kings Lynn once and was unbeaten until he crashed in a first turn incident in heat 13. He spent a large part of his time figuring out what are the best engines for english tracks and experimenting so I'd say there is probably more to come from him. He's ultra professional, brave, and very switched on. If he goes to Lynn, I'd expect him to be pushing for the #1 race jacket by the mid year.
